Guest Reviews

- Adrian (8/5): Had a great time. Rome was a pleasant surprise. - The apartment is situated in a lovely area in Rome, and when felt like we could relax while inside. Short walk to food and the major sites of Rome. The single bed in the second bedroom was unable to be slept on due to failure of the support slats. Our travel companion ended up placing the mattress on the floor as a work around. (Plus the sofa bed was too soft) The kitchen was missing a few essentials as well, like rubbish bags, tea-towels etc. Attention to detail just needs to improve a bit. Having said that, I would happily stay there again.
- Dana (9/5): Lovely apartment in great location. - Lovely location in Trastevere. Lots of plazas and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to forum, coliseum and central Rome. Spacious apartment. Lots of room for a family of 4. The air conditioner in the main living room broke down in the middle of our 3 night stay. It was quite hot in main room and second bedroom (that does not have own A/C) our last two nights. Fortunately we had a working A/C in master bedroom but it was not enough to cool the entire apartment. They were not able to send someone to fix it before we left.
- Jonathan (8/5): A spacious and comfortable apartment for the family with good facilities and proximity to transport and restaurants - Spacious and comfortable A few items of maintenance required that would easily increase the overall perception. Shower door leaked, single bed needed new slats. Kitchen towels would have helped. Small things but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed.
- Darryl (8/5): Great location. - Location & there was a lift. The hot water heater didn’t hold much water. There was no way that 2 people could sleep in the smaller “bedroom” - very small. A microwave would hVe been very nice.
- Elliott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (8/5): Bright, airy and spacious apartment in Trastevere - The apartment is bright and airy, and, though it's centrally located and near to a wide range of local restaurants and bars and right in the heart of things in Trastevere, it is very quiet. The flat is very clean and on the whole perfect for a short stay for a family. Laura went above and beyond.
Would certainly be happy to return and recommend! On the whole, we had a really lovely stay, but the property could do with a few minor repairs, and would benefit from additional facilities in the kitchen. Also, since mostly used for short stays, it would be great if the hosts could provide washing up liquid and some general cleaning equipment.
- Anita (7/5): Good - Perfect location to all the attractions.. Perfect accommodation for a young family.
Main bedroom Comfortable.
- Anastassios (9/5): Superb - Excellent location
- Lorrie (6/5): Pleasant - The location was nice, quiet for such a busy and popular place. Many great neighborhood restaurants. We had to empty a bucket of water dripping from the air conditioners. We had a three night stay. There isn't a washer, so we had dirty towels to wash in the sink and ran out of toilet paper.
- Marija_st (2/5): Very poor - Only good about this apartmant is location It is old, ruined, wasnt 't clean enough, in the bathroom you don't have hand soap.
- Irena (9/5): Excellent location and free transfer from the airport. - Free transfer from the airport.
- Jennifer (9/5): A gem of an apartment in the quiet area of Trastevere. - This is a gem of an apartment in the quiet area of Trastevere. We loved the comfy living space with views to the narrow streets and a church yard and the easy walking distance to charming restaurants and stores. It was a lovely place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was small and not well lit, but serviceable. The bathroom was sparsely stocked with toilet paper, soap & shampoo & needed somewhere to hang towels.
- Deborah (7/5): Nice location but apartment needs a little attention to fulfil its potential. - The location and main lounge area and master bedroom were great. Lovely and bright lounge area. WiFi good and kettle toaster were good. Corner sofa was comfy. Nice bedding and good shower. Plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with plates/pans etc but it needed some care and it would have been nice to have at least some salt in the cupboard. The twin room was cramped and the bed was rather rickety- various light switches missing their plates and wires exposed. Kitchen over flow wasn’t connected- so cupboard underneath got wet, and water leaked out of the bath every time shower was used. No plug for the bath or we would have used that instead.
- Karin (9/5): I highly recommand this accommodation for a great stay in Rome. Trastevere is an amazing hood for those who want to enjo - Cozy apartment, in a quiet area close to the main attractions It was a bit dusty, but nothing dramatic.
- Claire (8/5): A lovely apartment in a great location. - We were a family of 5 and and the property was perfect for our needs - 2 small single beds in the smaller room and a comfortable spacious pull out sofa in the living room. The TV had all the channels and streaming services and the decor was lovely and modern. It was an excellent location, right in the heart of Trastevere with lots of restaurants and cafes around the corner. Rafaelle met us on arrival and was very nice and responsive - for eg the hairdryer broke the first morning and he had a replacement to us by that afternoon. The only tip for improvement would be to leave some cleaning products in the kitchen - a cloth and washing up liquid.
- Anıl (10/5): Lovely house in perfect location. -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Ns (8/5): Roman retreat - Lovely spot. Lots of local places to eat and relax in the evenings. Walking distance from everywhere! (Though you will notch up many thousands of steps!!) Would have benefited from a few simple things like a few extra blankets for cooler nights, soap dishes, a dishwasher tablet or two, and wine bin bags!
Some of the electrics were, um..., a bit dubious...
- Bayraktarova (8/5): Very good - Good location. Misleading information about the number of beds - there is one double bed and one single bed. However, because of the information available on booking we were under the impression that there are 4 beds (the sofa does not count as a bed).
- Deana (9/5): Superb -
- Jhordan (2/5): DO NOT STAY. Not ready for guests, no basic ameneties. - The view is the only good thing about this stay. It was completely unfit for guests. We came for a work trip and we had to work at a cafe every single day because we had no wifi. They attempted to fix that issue by giving us a portable wifi box that had no wifi service. We had to buy our own batteries twice to get the AC to work. The AC made a horrible noise, so we couldn’t use it at night which made sleeping very uncomfortable as it was hot. Construction occurred overtop of us from 7:30 am to 1 pm. So we genuinely just avoided being here. It says there are two twin beds in the listing, but there is one very small room with a twin and a twin underneath it. I am not sure how it even pulls out, as it seems like there is not enough room. They need to specify this on the breakdown. It was quite difficult to get ahold of anyone for help. We had to call 3 or 4 times before someone answered. After we asked for a refund and started complaint frequently they started being more attentive. when we asked for a refund because we had no basic needs and this apartment is not ready for guests, we were told we could only have 30% back because it doesn’t makes sense for us to stay for free. Reminder — this apartment had no wifi, no AC unless we bought batteries, constant construction during daytime that was very loud, and no basic amenities such as toilet paper, hair dryer, coffee filter, etc. We were provided one roll of toilet paper and when we asked for more we were told it was a “self servicing apartment”. They eventually brought all of what we said they lacked in basic house hold toiletries, however at that point we already bought them ourselves. We left never having wifi, which wouldn’t matter but we were on a work trip so this was a huge problem. Half of our party left 2 days early because they couldn’t sleep or work. horrible experience. only giving it a 2 because of the view and location. Still want a full refund. DO NOT BOOK. They need to make adjustments first.
