Guest Reviews
- Guest (2/5): Considering the high price, the conditions and service were far below expectations. - Review / Complaint Regarding Apartment Stay
Organizational issues:
Upon arrival, four adults and one child had to wait over 20 minutes at the door for the owner’s representative, even though she had been informed about our arrival 50 minutes in advance. When she finally arrived, it turned out that she was not familiar with the apartment and could not explain where things were located or how the appliances worked.
During a phone conversation with the owner, which we could clearly hear, the owner angrily called us “stupid” — something completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Cleanliness and hygiene:
The apartment was not properly cleaned before our arrival. We found, among other things:
dirty tables in the kitchen and living room,
hairs in the bedding,
small hairs on the TV remote controls,
nail clippings in the living room,
and dirty glasses in the cupboards.
When we pointed this out during the handover, the representative simply said that she “is not a cleaner”, showing no willingness to resolve the issue.
Technical faults:
The apartment also had numerous technical problems, including:
leaking faucets in the bathrooms,
continuous water overflow from the drain into the toilet bowl, causing an unpleasant noise throughout the night,
unpleasant odors from the sewage pipes in the bathroom between two bedrooms, which made two out of three bathrooms unusable,
and a broken electric kettle, which, despite being reported, was never replaced.
Overall impression:
Considering the high price, the conditions and service were far below expectations. Despite being charged a cleaning fee, guests are still required to take out their rubbish to bins outside the building.

- Flemming (8/5): - Passende til seks personer - det ene soveværelse dog lidt lille. Affaldsordning. Affald sættes på gaden?
- Forrest (10/5): Beautiful apt + phenomenal location - This was one of the coolest apartments we've ever stayed at, and a perfect location steps away from great food, the river, Jewish ghetto, and a high traffic bus stop. There was a month long river festival along the Tiber we hit up every night, and ate great meals in trastevere as well. Just a perfect experience.
- Kali (3/5): Great location and good large space , needs some tlc , easy to bring up to standard . - Lovely big space . Great location . The dishwasher and laundry washing machine both didn’t wash properly and need a service .
Fridge was unclean inside
There were no linen or tea towels in kitchen
There were no mattress protectors on the beds or pillows . Not very hygienic.
The 4th bedroom shouldn’t be advertised, it’s very small 2m x 2m . and no air conditioning and the bathroom is not good .
Up 3 storey of stairs , no lift .
- Frank Chopin Google (9/5): excellent location, aircon helped reduce the heat burden in summer. - better garbage disposal facilities, more garbage bags,
- Corson (10/5): The apartment is in an ideal location and is gorgeous! - The apartment was Gorgeous! The art and furniture and location were perfection- we loved our stay here and would love to come back! We loved everything!
- Bernie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Marietta (10/5): Exceptional - The space was beautiful
Our host was fantastic, so responsive The beds were hard and uncomfortable
- Tone (9/5): The location was superb! The rooms was spacious, the livingroom with a view to the piazza was great -
- Steven (10/5): Lucrezia was so helpful before we arrived helping with transport information, always replying quickly to my messages and - The apartment is beautiful and spacious with a combination of modern touches such as the kitchen and bathroom while also maintaining the aura of a medieval Italian palazzo. We stayed in a similar property in Verona. The lounge is stunning. Clean and spacious with a lovely view of one of the hidden yet charming and less known piazzas in Rome. Having to leave.
- Selene (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great with restaurants just downstairs the apartment also convenient and easy to walk around by foot in Rome. Nothing
- Randy (8/5): Definitely go back to the same apartment. - It was close to the Jewish quarter and on the Tiber. Walking distance to everything. The apartment was just as described in the ads. No cleaning service, no clean towels or anything all 4 nights and up 2 flights of stairs.
- Nir (10/5): We loved the place!!! - The property is big and beautiful. Located in the hart of Rome near restaurants and bars. We loved the place and we will be very happy to visit and stay there again. Very unique and very specious. Big living room, big bedrooms, equipped kitchen and very special
- Robert (8/5): A beautiful place to stay in Trastevere, with a couple of caveats - Wonderful location, away from the crazy, noisy side of Trastevere on the other side of Viale Trastevere. Beautiful kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedrooms. Quiet at night, and comfortable beds. For $800 USD per night, a guest should 1) be given a NEW sponge and ANY dishwashing liquid/cleaning detergents - it is ridiculous that one should have to go out and purchase these items to clean the dishes and utensils used, 2) have WATER in the master bathroom sink and not have to fill a carafe in the kitchen in order to brush one's teeth/ wash one's hands in the master bathroom sink, which had no water coming out of it. Other than those issues, a nice place to stay.
- Laurie (9/5): Superb -
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pablo (10/5): Great location near everything - Location
- Miriam (10/5): Unforgettable and unique experience - This is an aesthetic and spectacular apartment- with paintings, decor, antiques which made the experience unique and unforgettable.
Excellent air-conditioning in nearly every room.
Scenic and spacious.
Equipped kitchen with all appliances.
TVs worked.
It had ample amounts of everything that regular airbnbs provide like soaps, binliners etc.
Beautiful neighbourhood- central yet quiet.
Walking distance to all major attractions. Everything was great. There is an issue with flickery lights and electrics. But that's probably because it's an older building.
May be less suitable coming with young children- there are glass and ceramic pieces of art and furniture. At the same time it's a fantastic family space with good spaces to hang out and also have privacy.
- Marije (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (10/5): Very much enjoyed our stay, with the location so close to dining options and walking distance to attractions. - Great location. Comfortable accommodation. Circuit breaker tripping when doing laundry.
No dryer, but did have a drying rack.

- Asen (10/5): Great combination of family comfort with children, close to great restaurants and to the city centre. - It’s a very spacious apartment with typical Roman charm, high ceilings and cosy atmosphere. We liked the stay from each side.
