- Egemen (10/5): You will be delighted to stay here! - First of all, huge thanks to the staff. Every single one of them is so welcoming, attentive and they all have a huge smile on their face. They are always ready to help with tips and tricks about attractions. The view from the hotel is stunning. You can watch all the balloons from the garden, no need to go anywhere else. Hotel is located very centrally, important areas are just a short drive away. Moniq Restaurant is definitely one of the top ones in Cappadocia! Definitely recommended. The only downside was poor WiFi connection. We couldn’t connect to WiFi in our room.

- Masha_Gorod (9/5): - При заезде мне предложили два номера на выбор, первый был побольше, но с частичной видимостью шаров, а второй поменьше, но обзор открывался лучше. В номере есть все, и халаты, и тапочки, любые гигиенические принадлежности, вода в холодильнике + минибар за доп.стоимость. Утюг мне правда так и не донесли. В номере сухо абсолютно, кондей работает исправно. Завтрак шикарный, все есть, кроме красной рыбы и икры, даже шампанское без проблем. Завтрак турецкий, без шведской линии, попросить можно что угодно. Мне понравилась ветчина, мне принесли и подарили пачку. У отеля очень приятные места для отдыха с видом на долину. Город небольшой, до любой туристической локации даже в жуткую жару можно доползти) Отличный отель, придраться практически не к чему. Разве что на фото номера более светлые и яркие, в реальности темновато, но оно и понятно, пещера все-таки. И второй момент, чдо шаров далековато, они видны, но совсем не так как хотелось бы. Просто точки издалека.

Staff was always very polite and attentive! Unfortunately the master bedroom was quite warm and unable to control temperature which led to uncomfortable nights. There are also limited places to have drinks/lounge specially in colder weather where their outdoor areas were all closed.

The heater on the gazebo area was turned on for one side but when I requested for more heaters (I just needed help turning on the portable standalone one) , I was told to just sit on the heated side. I didn’t think it would have been much effort for them to turn on additional heater….. oh well maybe it’s a communication problem.

- Agnese (10/5): Dream stay in Cappadocia - We spent 5 amazing days in this place. Every day started with a delicious breakfast and some hours spent in the terrace under the November sun. Traveling during this period was such a great choice (less people, beautiful autumn sunny weather). They have a beautiful terrace just in front of the restaurant but we also had our private one where we could chill. I recommend taking a room with terrace, is totally worth it. I think the place is even better than in the pictures, the atmosphere, the music and vibes were magical. All the staff were very professional and kind, both of the hotel and Moniq restaurant. A special thanks to Resul, that spent plenty of time guiding us through what to do based on the number of days we were staying, booked us a wonderful ballon ride and many more things he did for us every single day . We also had dinner twice at Moniq restaurant, one in front of the fireplace in the room, very romantic and cozy. The baklava was delicious and the cocktails also super high quality. If you are planning to travel here, Taskonaklar is the place to be, trust me. The lazy mornings just laying in the sun, facing the valleys, in this perfect hotel, were the best memories I will bring with me home. Absolutely nothing! I read some reviews complaining about the stairs, the beauty of this place is also its architecture that include some, in my opinion few, stairs you will encounter.
- Charlotte (8/5): Beautiful relaxing day - It was very welcoming and loved all of the personalisation. Lovely to stay outside of goreme and have a hottub to watch the sunsets and sunrise. In the photos of the hotel it looks like it’s a good view of the hot air balloons over Göreme but our room didn’t see this as they were further to the left most days so covered by the other hotels / position on the cliff was slightly right. We stayed in goreme first so we didn’t mind too much as we had seen the balloons lots.

- Aida (10/5): Exceptional - The property was stunning! It has great view, wonderful and helpful staffs (Dolunay was the best!), the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was the best! They even have a cave restaurant that is more than 800 years old if I’m not mistaken. And we had breakfast there once, it was memorable. The location was in the center and not too far from restaurants, coffee shop and even a mini market. We really enjoyed our stay at Taskonaklar and would definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning to go to Cappadocia!
- Ahlam (10/5): Amazing Superb caves hotel with a unique experience. - From the time of the check in I noticed the attention of the employees to cover all our needs, starting from the concierge guys then the receptionists especially Mr. Resul and Mr. Burak and after that the housekeepers who puts plenty of towels to be used in the balcony and for the jacuzzi, everything was available and didn’t have to request essentials such as the shower cap, loofa, etc. I noticed that they care about all their guests and treating each family as a precious and important guest, this level of service I used to see it in a 5-star hotels in Europe, the employees in all their divisions including the restaurant in the terrace were welcoming the guests every time they pass by the terrace. The atmosphere was amazing and so relaxing. The hotels was superb and one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. Don’t miss the balloon’s trip, it worth the experience, you can find several tourism offices so close and walking distance from the hotel, check the differences between them before you decide which one to go for. Also, there is a green tour and red tour for sightseeing, be careful in these tours, there is a lunch break included in the price of the tour, not all the companies offer soft drinks , even the water they might charge you, so check with the office or the hotel first then with the tour guide before making your order to be in the safe side.

As it says it is a hotel but we were made to feel like family. - The staff were so helpful in organizing the balloon flight for us and making sure our room was lovely and warm and cosy on arrival. We knew that whatever our query they would make sure we were given all the information we needed. We had such a warm welcome and the hotel was everything we expected and more!!! Our room was superb … we stayed in a family room with two lovely sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was lovely and cosy which was perfect for the time of year. The drinks service at the bar and the food service in the restaurant were excellent. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our children especially enjoyed the pancakes and honey! Thank you so so much for a lovely stay… we are only sorry we could not have stayed longer

We were greeted by the staff warmly and instantly upgraded to a suite room as we were on our honeymoon. The room was great and spacious! They took care of each of our needs. The food at their restaurant was also great. We had a lovely time. Also the views from the hotel were just spectacular. Truly a 5 star stay Nothing at all

Also the multiple layers added a distinct feel to the property as also the cave room concept. It’s a little far from any of the attractions, and if you need to get out for dinner into Goreme town, you need to take a taxi. Also, it gets very tiring for older people or people with disability to climb up and down the stairs between the reception and the rooms.

The view overlooking the pigeon valley is a highlight, as is the food at the in house restaurant Moniq. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. The staff were helpful in arranging tours and providing information on what to do. The mattress was on the softer side which took some getting used to.

The first night, I stayed in a room with a balcony, which was delightful. I even treated myself to a soothing in-room massage. The highlight of my trip was the second night when I had the privilege of staying in the royal suite. The suite was incredibly spacious, and its architecture was nothing short of amazing; it felt like I was in a cave. - Lisa (8/5): Memorable but rugged stay! - The setting of the hotel, on multiple levels, is absolutely breath-taking. The architectural design of the property and the views were a delight to the eyes. The included breakfast was almost overwhelming in its complexity, but beautiful and delicious. I was pleased that I could take some left-overs with me to snack on during the day. Consider using the transportation and tours recommended by the hotel, even though they might be a bit more expensive, to avoid potential problems. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the chillax music that's played on the grounds and restaurant. This attractive and memorable hotel is not advised for those with mobility issues. Communication via What's App (seems to be the common method used in Turkey) was problematic at times. When booking directly through the hotel, full payment is required 14 days before arrival, which I wasn't expecting. Our room (cave-style) had one very small window and there is no air conditioning so the rooms can feel stuffy. The fans which can be provided are the huge standing type and that didn't work for us. Since many of the 25 rooms in the hotel have little patios, many guests think they're at home and can create quite a ruckus late into the night. The comforters on the beds seem too thick and heavy for a room with no A/C.
- Judy (10/5): Taskonaklar makes Cappadocia even more memorable - the location is excellent and the view is epic. it’s the ideal location away from the hustle and bustle and instagramming of Goreme and convenient to get to everything. the staff was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. if I had to do it all over again I’d stay there but for longer and I would have had the concierge arrange everything for me. the restaurant on site was wonderful and the Turkish breakfast was a highlight. the room are spacious and beautiful. we will be back.
