• Philip (10/5): An enjoyable and comfortable stay perfect for my needs. - Skyevale was the perfect place for my 4-night stay in Portree. The accommodation was so clean and modern and Adam and Lesley were such kind and generous hosts, they really make sure you have a comfortable stay whilst respecting your privacy. Only a 10 minute walk into town or to the main Co-Op for supplies. Highly recommended.

• Awyas (10/5): Wonderful stay and wonderful hosts. - Absolutely amazing stay! Adam and Lesley put so much thought into making sure the property has everything you could need, and put so much care into every detail. The home was cozy and comfortable and decorated really nicely, with bonus features like a towel warmer in the bathroom that really put it above and beyond. They were available to help with any requests and were so kind and friendly but also respectful of giving us all the space and privacy we needed. The location was super convenient as well and close to so many of the sights on Isle of Skye. If we ever return would definitely stay here again and will be recommending the property to others. Extra points if you love cats, their neighbour’s cat Oreo came in to visit us a couple times and was sooo cute! No complaints! I only wish we had been there for a longer stay because it was so cozy.
• Mark (10/5): Fantastic accommodation, far better than my expectations and highly recommended - Fantastic accommodation. The bed was so comfy and the place was immaculately clean. The owner was very friendly and the whole set up was better than I had expected. I highly recommend the place. The accommodation is a little walk outside of the centre of Portree. It's less than 10 minutes walk but uphill all the way back. Great if you enjoy walking but something to keep in mind.

La literie et la salle de bain sont confortables. Tout était très propre. Il y a des petits livres sur l'île, des jeux de société, et un service avec petits gâteaux, thés, café, bouilloire, digne d'un hôtel ! Et mention spéciale pour le rétroprojecteur !! Je reviendrai !! • Melissa (10/5): Excellent accommodations located conveniently in Portree. A great base for exploring Isle of Skye. - This property is a great spot if you’re staying on the Isle of Skye. We appreciated that we could walk into town for dinner and drinks and that it was a great launching point for exploring and hiking. The rooms is spacious and well appointed. We appreciated how comfortable the bed was. Skyevale is also a great value, which was important for us in choosing an property. Adam and Lesley are great hosts—welcoming but not intrusive. I highly recommend booking here.

Excelente recepción de la anfitriona, hermosa habitación, muy comfortable y espaciosa. No ofrecen desayuno pero dejan amenities para prepararlo vos mismo y muchos dulces riquísimos. El baño, espectacular!

• Anouska (10/5): Lovely hosts, clean room and a beautiful island, we were very happy. - We were extremely lucky to grab this room when they had a cancellation, the hosts were truly lovely, helpful and welcoming. The location is about 5-10 min walk down into the town which is ideal. Beds were comfy and it's a large bedroom and a large bathroom. They also have a puppy who I instantly fell in love with. N/A

• Roy (7/5): Good - 1. The rooms and bathroom was very big, fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. You get a big part of the house for yourself, and the entrance is from the backdoor. 2. The host was very nice and welcoming, and helped us finding good places to visit in Skye. 3. Its just 10 minutes walk from city center, which is not that bad. I would have loved for more clarity regarding the fact our room is a part of an active house of the host's family. I can't get complaints about the noise from the other rooms or the smell of cooking from the kitchen (which is saparated by a thin wall and a locked door), so privacy isn't a big thing there. Therefore, I'd appreciate if I had known it before, so I may have considered other options.

• Baillie (1/5): Not a one bedroomed house - It seemed clean, location is fine I don't like the fact it is advertised as a one bedroomed house when it is infact a bedroom and a shower room within a house, separated by a glass internal door and curtain. I've booked a few air bnbs and feel I was mis sold this, I had to find alternative last minute accommodation as I didn't feel comfortable, didn't feel like I had privacy and u could hear the owners in the next room.

It's located about a 15-minute walk from Portree Harbor, making it a convenient yet peaceful retreat. The neighborhood is quiet, with no traffic, ensuring a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended! With no fault from the hosts, I did want to mention that the streets in the neighborhood were covered with ice during my stay, making driving, especially on the slopes, a bit challenging
