• Maria Konstantinovna (9/5): Great apartment in a nice neighborhood - Comfortable and stylish apartment on a busy street next to a bar. However, the bar closes early so it wouldn’t keep you up. Morning market is just a few steps away. The only thing that I didn’t like was no window in the bedroom (well, the window is very high up so almost non existent).

La posizione è ideale, nel cuore del quartiere Albergaria, tra i mercati storici della Vucciria e di Ballarò. La strada in cui si trova l’appartamento è tranquilla, poco trafficata e molto caratteristica, arricchita da diverse botteghe artigianali che rendono l’atmosfera ancora più piacevole.

Very helpful with everything: with airport transfer, Palermo city, whatever you need you can contact them 24/7. Apartmant is very nice, big, with terrace and it has everything you need. We loved it. We will come back definitely.

Sebbene in descrizione sia indicato il parcheggio in strada, vista la posizione in pieno centro, è praticamente impossibile trovarlo. È stato un incubo parcheggiare la macchina, consiglio di rimuovere dalla descrizione "parcheggio in strada".

• Jakub (9/5): Fantastic location and a great host. - Great location, in walking distance to all the Palermo highlights, restaurants and cafes. Lots of space in the room (maybe except the bathroom). Michele was an outstanding, communicative and welcoming host. Nothing specific. For my stay, the room was fantastic, but if someone wants to spend the days in the room, there's not much light inside due to wooden venetian blinds in the windows.

• Paweł (9/5): - The flat is beautifully situated (in the historic centre) – within a 10-minute walk of the city’s main attractions and dozens of restaurants. A cosy flat, fully equipped and tailored to the needs of tourists. Excellent communication with the owner. There’s a local wine bar just opposite :) Totally recommend! Perhaps the flat could have been a little cleaner, and the bathroom is in need of refurbishment. However, this wasn’t a problem in any way and didn’t affect the overall rating of our stay.

We were traveling with a toddler and it was not a problem. The price is very fair. Thanks for the great experience at our first stop in Sicily.

• Mike (9/5): Safe, convenient, and mostly comfortable - My stay overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, close to public transport, restaurants, and major sights. I felt very safe throughout my stay, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The apartment had several comforts that made my stay easier: the air conditioner worked well, the kitchen was equipped with utensils and a stove, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like the moka pot for coffee, a hairdryer, and reliable Wi-Fi. However, the kitchen sink was a bit awkward to use, and the shower was quite small, which might be uncomfortable for some. One thing to note is that due to the window structure, you may hear some street noise—especially at night. It didn’t ruin the experience, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Communication with the host started off a bit slow—he wasn’t very responsive at first—but once I arrived, he was genuinely helpful and welcoming, which made a big difference. The only real downside for me was the lack of a washing machine, which became inconvenient during a longer stay. Still, for a short visit, this BnB offers great value in a vibrant and walkable part of Palermo.

Ciężko było dojechać pod nocleg ponieważ jest w strefie ZTL, ale gospodarz zachował się wzorowo i przyjechał aby pomóc dojechać na miejsce a następnie na strzeżony parking. Apartament dobrze wyposażony, balkon chociaż nie duży ale z ciekawym widokiem na ulicę. Polecam Głośna ulica po zamknięciu okna słabo izolowały akustykę.

All was fantastic: Great location in walking distance to train, tourist sites, shops and market. The Wifi worked well, the kitchen was well equipped and I had the entire place to myself. If I return to Palermo I would definately like to stay at DaMe 👌

• Sofia (8/5): Very good - I liked the location, it was very central and in proximity to all the basic sights. Arrival at the apartment was easy and the car ride scheduled by the host. Loud neighborhood. There is a bar downstairs just across the street. If you sleep in the living room you can hear all the noise from the street and people talking as they pass by. But in the bedroom if you close the door it is fine.

• Jana (10/5): Exceptional - We were really lucky to find this appartment in Palermo! The location is just fantastic: in the very city center and walking distance to all the important landmarks, as well as some really good restaurants. The appartment is well maintained and clean, with a mix of classic and modern furnishings, very stylish and nicely decorated. The large windows with balcony offer some fine views of the street below (see pictures). The kitchen also includes a mokka pot to prepare coffee for yourself. The communication with the owner (Michael) was straightforward and he kindly helped us with arranging the parking spot for our car, which is some 300m away. Breakfast was part of the deal, served in a nearby coffee shop (coffee + croissant). For a family of three the appartment was spacious enough and exceeded all our expectations. It offers an excellent value for money!

• Zuzanna (10/5): Beautiful spacious and clean appartment in the heart of Palermo - Wonderful cosy, comfortable and spotless apartment! It was only a one-night stay, but it was a great experience. The appartment is really nice - decorated with taste, spacious and equipped in AC, small kitchen, sofa, table etc. Location is perfect - you are in the very heart of the city, a few steps away from the main attractions. The only thing that could be improved was a bit too hard pillows (which will be replaced, as the host assured us). We were grateful for a bottle of water we found in the frigde :)

The host helped us with a private parking option (which I strongly recommend if you rent a car in Palermo) and gave us a lot of helpful tips for restaurants, exploring, shopping, etc. We will come again for sure! /

• Nikolay (9/5): Spacious apartment with everything you need in an excellent location - Excellent location - the apartment is within walking distance of both the train station and major attractions. It is practically on the main pedestrian street which is full of great places to eat. There are also supermarkets nearby if you want to stay at home and cook something up. The apartment has a small but well equipped kitchen - we cooked a nice pasta, and there is a mini oven for reheating and finishing off, which does an excellent job with yesterday's pizza or croissants. Apart from the kitchen, there is everything else you need - comfortable bedroom, spacious living room, nice bathroom without any hot water or pressure issues. Nice balcony over a typical little Sicilian street. Very clean, no remarks, which for me is the most important thing when sleeping in someone else's place. Breakfast was a croissant and cappuccino at a nearby restaurant - no remarks, everything was perfectly ok. We had a nasty case AFTER we left the apartment - when we were already home. I received a strange request by Booking for damages to the apartment that I definitely did not cause. But eventually the owner and I were able to settle the matter and he realized that he had made a mistake - my advice is to stand your ground in these situations. As for the apartment itself, although it was clean, the apartment is a bit worn out and perhaps needs a little refreshing if possible. It is true that the street is quite noisy and the noise insulation in the living room is not good, but the bedroom door solves the problem when sleeping. A new kettle to heat water and a few more wine glasses would be helpful :) The fact that you need a key in the apartment if you want the air conditioner to work creates a small case. If one person wants to stay home warm and take a nap and the other wants to go for a walk outside, that's not quite possible - you either have to take the key from him and turn off the heat accordingly, or you have to wake him up so he can unlock the door for you. But that's the way it is in many places - I guess in order to avoid leaving the air conditioning on during the day while the apartment is empty.
• Ewa (10/5): Thank you for the Sicilian hospitality - This is an amazing place to stay in Palermo. The flat is located few mins walk away from the most beautiful and famous attractions of Palermo to one side and some less known but interesting and authentic corners to the other. Despite being in the heart of the city, we found the apartment quiet at night during our stay (I am a light sleeper and bothered by any noise) The apartment itself is very comfortable and tastefully designed, with a lot of local accents so you can appreciate that you are on a Sicilian holiday also inside. The flat was equipped with everything we needed for our stay (good coffee and coffee maker were a nice touch). The highlight was our interactions with the host who was very kind and responded to all questions and requests in minutes. Our baby got sick during the trip and the host directed us to a local hospital, allowed us to stay in the apartment till late afternoon after check out so we could wait there for our flight and arranged a transport to the airport for us. I really recommend it as a base to explore Palermo.

• Timothy (9/5): Nice apt in local's neighborhood - Apt is in the middle of locals neighborhood which is both good and bad. Nice owner who allowed early check in and late check out. A large apt, well equipped unique kitchen, Separate bedroom with door which eliminates the noise issue at night. Two large balcony doors for lots of light. Strong WIFI and convenient central location, 15 min walk from train/bus terminal. No microwave. Shower stall very small...large people are seriously challenged. Loud noise...balcony doors open to balcony that's only good for clothes drying (the norm in neighborhoods) which hangs over the cobblestone street with a lot of locals noise from reverberating building walls, noisy scooters and traffic, locals talking loudly plus the street is on the tour guide route adding more congestion. The balcony doors need to be closed to be in the living room comfortably. The bedroom has a separate door which eliminates the noise issue...we slept well and quietly. .The noise issue is the price to be paid if you want an animated, boisterous locals living experience, which is just we wanted. So the apt worked well for us.

The style of the apartment was tasteful and it was very clean. The neighborhood can appear a bit seedy during the day if you turn left but if you go right it's right in the middle of the action.

Located very close to main attractions and the railway station (Palermo Central) is only a walk away. The apartment was large, clean, modern and comfy after a long day out, only the shower showed signs of usage. The AC worked well. In the apartment you'll find plates, cups, coffee and other cooking stuff to prepare your meal. You can contact the owner on short notice (WhatsApp) if you need assistance or if questions arise which I found to be really useful. Noise from the street found it's way into the sleeping room. So maybe bring earplugs.

Located in a quiet part of the city but very close to all attractions. We had no problem contacting the owner. He gave us the keys right away, we didn't have to wait for anything. The apartment has all amenities and great comfortable beds. From the balcony a charming view of the street where real life is teeming. The apartment is clean, the kitchen has all the necessary things. We highly recommend this place, you can park your car on the streets around the apartment by purchasing the ZTL card that the owner of the apartment told us about. We bought it ourselves but the owner offered to do it for us and help us. Thank you very much for such a nice reception. We recommend the apartment wholeheartedly.
