Guest Reviews
- Sally (3/5): Very disappointing. - Very small room. Go as much as to say claustrophobic. Made a request re dinner before stay which was granted but then completely disregarded when arrived. As a result didn’t eat.
- Guest (8/5): - Main building was very old and interesting interior.
Very good food in restaurant Restaurant was quite expensive
- Patrick (8/5): - Breakfast next door at their cafe was excellent.
- Mark (7/5): Lovely countryside setting with good onsite facilities but needs a few improvements in the rooms to feel value for money - Beautiful countryside setting with lovely cafe and restaurant on site. Bathroom was tiny and very dark. Needs much better lighting. The room itself was also a bit dark due to there only being two small windows for natural light. There was a lovely room next door which had much more natural lighting and was unoccupied the whole time so was a shame we weren’t allocated that one! TV was ridiculously tiny, you wouldn’t even bother to use it.
- Steve (8/5): Small cosy room next to a lovely restaurant - Great little find. Nice room for an overnight stay which joins onto a lovely Sri Lankan/Indian restaurant. The bathroom needs a bit of TLC as there was minor mould in the shower and the melamine below the sink had blown. Also needs a new front door as the weather has damaged it plus the windows need a lick of paint. Other than that it was lovely.
- Amanda (6/5): Disappointed this time , it’s a lovely private location and the room is very nice but needs a good freshen up - Location and privacy Room needs freshen up , we stayed in same room earlier this year and it’s looking worn.
Hot tap in bathroom broken , was mentioned before and still not fixed.

- Cathy (5/5): Would stay somewhere else if visited again - When arriving in our room, it smelt fresh and clean. The bed was comfortable and clean linen.
There was a fridge in the room which was useful, however, it was noisy..
The restaurant attached to the accommodation looked lovely and the food looked good. The bathroom is tired and could do with some descaling. Faulty cold tap and the towel rail needed refitting. The flooring in the bathroom was peeling. The carpet in the room looked like it could have a good clean
The fridge in the room hummed all night.
- Simon (9/5): Clean and comfy spot for a short stay - Very clean, excellent beds and linen, in perfect location for us to get to Haslemere. Plenty free parking. Very easy check in instructions Door needed some attention as it's a bit tired and bathroom quite dark
- Jamie (8/5): Very good - Great food at the restaurant and comfortable room. The shower room was quite basic.
- Anonymous (1/5): Incredibly dated, facilities in a poor condition, at the back of the kitchen. - Nothing, arrived at the property saw the condition, which was not at all as portrayed in the photos and instantly left to find alternative accommodation. Everything.
