It is rare to find a host with such a keen eye for detail; while the building's exterior is unassuming, the interior is a masterclass in modern renovation, featuring high-end Samsung appliances, sleek touch-screen switches, and smart technology that elevate the entire stay. They treated us like family from the outset, even graciously accommodating an incredibly odd check-in time at 2am without any hassle, and providing superb local recommendations for the best seafood in Sabah. Every element, from the five-star hotel standard fresh linens to the beautifully modernised bathrooms, feels thoughtfully curated and genuinely premium. Last but not least, it is a nice and comfortable place to stay after a long walk in the city. Location is a a little further from the city centre but it is not a major problem as transportation like Grab is always available.

• Naimah (10/5): - Everything was absolutely perfect! My family and I really loved this place, it felt just like home. Even the switches were all touch screen, so modern and convenient! I suddenly miss this place already. Also, Revi was really nice and very helpful! Helped me a lot and even recommended the best seafood places nearby. My family and I will definitely come back here again the next time we return to Sabah. Only the key box was a bit troublesome & tricky, you just need to be patient and relax while opening it. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

Their kindness and hospitality went above and beyond—especially when our flight was delayed and they generously allowed us to extend our stay without any hassle. They truly treated us like family, and it meant so much during a stressful travel situation. While the building may look older from the outside, the inside is a completely different story.The house itself is a hidden gem, fully renovated modern toilet. it looks like an old building, but inside, it's beautifully modern with smart switches, smart door, top-quality Samsung appliances, and 5 ⭐️ hotel standard fresh linens. • Qaisara (8/5): Best bang for your buck - The photos do not lie. The place is as clean and comfy as it looks. However, please be warned that the exterior of the apartment itself may seem a bit scary and run down. It's an old apartment building but the most important thing is it's safe and everything in the homestay feels brand new. The people living there are smiley and there's 24 hour security. It's on the first floor right above the parking, so you only need to walk up 1 flight of stairs. The check in process is clear and easy to understand. The beds, pillows, blankets and towels quality are equivalent to a 5 star hotel. Water pressure is great! Amenities are complete, functioning, and easy to use. It is a smart home, one of a kind! The owner is very responsive and kind to check in with us and teach us how to use the gadgets/items in the house. They provide lots of hangers which we appreciate during our long stay as we have lots of laundry to do. The kitchen is also complete with pretty and clean dishware and cookware. The attention to details in this place is immaculate. Would love to stay here again! We wish there was some sort of storage for our clothes as we were there for 4 nights. There's only one clothes bar in each room for you to hang your clothes or towel. A simple wardrobe or more places to hang our dry clothes would be perfect! There is no kiblat direction so you need to use your mobile app to find the kiblat, no big deal. Since there is no lift, it is not wheelchair friendly. There is this water pump in the laundry room that makes quite a loud noise whenever the water is running so make sure to always close the door to the laundry room during your stay so you won't disturb other guests sleeping when you have to use running water😂 You'll get used to the sound after a while. We brought our own soap/shampoo, but the homestay would be even more perfect if they provide hand wash soap at the kitchen sink, and some shower soap/shampoo in each bathroom.
