An excellent value for the comfort and location. - The apartment is centrally located in the Huangpo district, which was close to the venue of the two talks I gave in Shanghai. The host Alisa (Vicky) greeted me many days before arrival. I needed an office desk to prepare my lectures and a power-strip for my U.S. devices. She had them installed specially for me the day of our arrival. Throughout our stay, she constantly attended to our personal needs, such as dining, grocery, and such locations. They also booked the taxi for our departure to the airport. Alisa was extremely attentive and responsive to our needs in all respects. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for two. They've taken seriously and appreciatively my suggestion to include instructions in English on how to use the appliances (esp. washer/dryer), on nearby resources, etc., in the Welcome PDF we received. On the morning of our departure there was a sudden inundation from the kitchen (water backed up) into the whole apartment due to flash floods in Shanghai. It stopped as suddenly as it had started. This was due to no fault of the host. Alisa immediately sent a worker and cleaning lady to fix and mop up before we were due to leave for the airport. We would definitely stay there again.
• Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - It was a really convenient area and the cleaner was very good. I actually ended up keeping the key from one of the security measures by accident and I was going to send it but they said they’ll just make another one instead so I was let off the hook.

• Natalie (10/5): Very convenient and saved my stressful work trip - The property was very conveniently located and had enough utilities in the apartment that I didn’t have to go elsewhere all the time. I also enjoyed the washing machine and I like the light and the historic building. All the instructions for entering the apartment were given very clearly and there is a lot of security which is amazing. I couldn’t bring my dog.
