- Prakhar (4/5): All dormitories in basement with almost zero ventilation so don't book in summers - I had an interview at VSSC, so that is 4-5 km proxy to that, so it is very easy to take a bus from Shangmukham to Veli for VSSC And Shangmukham beach is just within walking distance. And most of the properties near that are only booking offline, so check that also AREA/LOCALITY - If you are a person who only depends on veg food, then don't choose that location for stay cause that is a fishermen's locality and mostly they serve non-veg(mostly beef) food. Choose a stay near Thrivandram Central that is about 4-5 km from this property.

- Amit Tikoriya (1/5): - I recently stayed at Montcello Hotel near TRV Domestic Airport with my family, and it was a very disappointing experience. The room was extremely dirty, the bedsheets were not clean, and hygiene standards were clearly not maintained. We also encountered cockroaches throughout the room and even bed bugs, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unacceptable. Given the condition of the room and lack of cleanliness, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families. I didn't like anything in the hotel

There were visible marks and peeling in a few areas, which affected the overall appearance of the room. A fresh coat of paint would really enhance the experience. Other than that, everything else was well maintained and the service was satisfactory.

Not value at all It was dirty, there was poo from a previous client. The room had a hole in the wall, someone could have got in easily in the middle of the night. We didn't feel that safe but we were 2, I wouldn't go as a solo traveller. We arrived late and the guy asked for payment straight away. I got the WiFi in the morning and saw that it was less on booking.com. when I asked the carer he said he knew nothing, he couldn't check it. Don't they have counting books? A dirty place with dishonest people.

The location is great, very close to the beach, and walking distance from domestic airport. It is definitely a very nice budget stay option in Trivandrum. The rooms could be cleaner, there was so much dirt in the rooms towards the non used sides of the bed, and spider webs all over the ceiling. The towel provided was really dirty. There were no blanket/sheets provided during the stay. If they clean up the space a little, it is definitely a good low budget stay option at such a nice location.
