• Daniela (10/5): - The apartment is located just a short walk from the train station, shops, restaurants, and the harbor. There is a beautiful view of the islands from the living room windows. ​The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly think of. We didn’t miss a single thing during our entire stay. Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and our kids especially appreciated the huge amount of Duplo and other toys that were available. ​Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back

The apartment was very close to everything....... the station, the shops the harbour and eating places. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had so many lovely little extras that we felt at home right away, We were sorry that we could only stay one night but we would certainly stay again and will recommend it very highly! I cannot think of anything!

Heating system fixed on strange timings -not possible to alter. Nice welcome items including alcohol and milk but strangely no tea bags!

• Sheyla (10/5): Increíble alojamiento - Nos gustó todo, desde el cariño con el que nos hablaba su dueña hasta los snack que nos dejó de bienvenida. Nos hizo sentirnos en casa. Estaba muy limpio todo, bien decorado, con cuna preparada para nuestra hija con varias mantas, almohada, sabana,… Cocina, baño y salón completos. Juguetes, trona y alzador para niños, que agradecimos un montón. Camas cómodas, con varias almohadas, calentitas. Luces en pasillo con sensor de movimiento para no tener que dar las luces del pasillo por la noche. Se lo recomendaré a todo el mundo que vaya porque me parece un sitio muy guay para relajarse. Nos mandaron indicaciones para encontrarlo más rápido y nos vinieron muy bien. No poder quedarme más noches.

The house was incredibly clean, smelled fantastic, and had all the amenities we could ever need. Toys for our children, coffee, milk, snacks, they were all provided for by the host. It went above and beyond our expectations. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

• Martin (10/5): A cosy comfortable stay in a fantastic setting - There is so much to list about the property that we liked. It’s clean, comfortable and close to places to eat, drink and shop in Mallaig. It’s the perfect home from home.

Fiona should be very proud of the accommodation, kept so homely, practical and well equipped. We only stayed one night but there were all the extras provided which we greatly appreciated. Fiona also understood and made possible our extra request 😊. Sad that we only had time for one night’s stay!

When We made reservation, we were not sure about this place, because We were affraid about location - so closed to railway, but it wasn't problem at all. Place was very quiet, without any sounds. Only bird's songs. Apartment was very clean, with excelent eqiped kitchen comfortable living room, bedrooms and bathroom. I think - when We will come to Mallaig next time, We will book this apartment again.

Sitting at the dining table with beautiful views out to sea and the islands on the horizon, with the added bonus of the Jacobite steam train passing right in front of you. Nothing could be better. The welcome pack of wine and snacks was much appreciated. And the kids loved the play frame in the garden. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like about the property
• Savinda (10/5): Great stay with a great host - The host offered us an early check-in. The host kept in touch as we were coming for a late check-in, and was super friendly. The rooms are clean and feel like home. The house was super clean and well-maintained. Has a modern vibe, and all the information is written. It was a lovely stay. There was a complimentary gift pack from the host with a handwritten note, snacks, and wine. It was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay. And if you are catching the ferry to the Isle of Skye, the port is 5 minutes away. There were several books and board games, which would be ideal for staying a couple of days together with family or friends. Will come back again.
• Craig (10/5): Exceptional - We had a two night stay, not long enough. Spindrift is well equipped and a lot of thought has obviously gone into making it a home from home. We hope to return for a longer visit soon. Mallaig is a lovely little working fishing town with access to the Isle of Skye by ferry, but not as populated by tourists as Skye. Can't think of anything to write here!

• Ian (9/5): Superb - The view and location. The apartment is only a few minutes walk to all Mallaig facilities. Owner prefers use of washing machine/ dryer to be kept to between 1.30 and 4.30 pm . We are on holiday and want to be out and about during the day. Beds are small doubles in both rooms. Not enough plates and cutlery available to allow for dishwasher use.
• James (10/5): Wonderful Self Catering Flat. - Friendly, helpful host. Clean, well equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome pack. The weather was fantastic (wall to wall sunshine). Bit confused regarding the recycling. I feel that is it so important to be included.
• Paul (10/5): Great well looked after place to explore from Mallaig or for onward ferry travel from Mallaig. - The flat is on the ground floor of a stonebuilt property and is very well renovated and maintained. It's a 3 minute walk from the harbour and the train station. Communication was perfect. We had a question and got an immediate response on the phone. Shower and bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room (with dining table) all immaculate, spotless. We were never too cold, so good heating and hot water. There were cereals provided, and some nice complimentary treats - crisps and wine for instance. And cooking oil and washing up liquid. We made our own dinner and breakfast. The view from the dining table toward Skye, Rum and Eigg was stunning. Perfect to watch sunset and sunrise over the isles. Very much recommend this place. Everything was fine.

• Derek (9/5): A lovely winter break. - The friendly and helpful host, Fiona, sorted us out with the log stove! Spindrift is well equipped, very clean and comfortable, with views over to Rum, Egg and Skye, and very handy for Mallaig restaurants. Arisaig and Morar beaches are a short drive away.
