• Lotte (5/5): Fine location, cleanliness and standards could be higher. - Convenient location for what we needed, heating worked well. Lovely rain head shower. Burn marks in the carpet, the house smelt of smoke upon first entry. The washing machine had other peoples laundry in it, and the grill in the oven was covered in grease from previous use. Cobwebs thoughout the house. Only 1 pillow & towel per person per bed.

Looks like it's used to party in every weekend. Very Very poor
• Gwen (4/5): Disappointing - For a three bed house it was good value and convenient for me visiting family locally, there was free parking available The house was absolutely basic, no cooking utensils, two forks and a handful of knives and spoons. Cigarette burns in the carpet, dents and marks on the walls, bare light bulbs throughout. Marks on the bedding, cobwebs in most rooms. No teatowels or bin bags. The back garden completely overgrown and a stale cigarette smell downstairs. Found two bundles of dirty laundry in different cupboards and a large kitchen knife!

• Debra (5/5): Passable - no light bulbs in the stairs or hallway they flagged this up with the landlord and they said they would come out but didn’t, there was no soap, tea towels and lack of utensils e, g no oven gloves, strainers etc so couldn’t take things out pans or get out oven etc.

• Ellen (9/5): Great family stay, clean and comfortable, perfect for a couple of nights stay. - The property was clean and simple, it was well kept and in a quiet area. Parking was located just across the road so easy access. Easy drive into the town with lots of choice for places to eat. The beds were very comfortable, the small room had one single bed and the other 2 rooms had double beds that could be made into singles. I would suggest if you want singles you let the host know as there is no spare bedding. I loved the fact whe yo walked into the bedrooms you could smell the fresh bed linen, top marks for me.

• Ian (4/5): Place has potential, but needs properly kitting out - Good location for what we needed. Inside the house itself it was presentable on first appearance, decently refurbished kitchen and bathroom. Good shower. Virtually no facilities. There were only three of us fortunately, but there were only 2-cups, 1-plate, 1-glass, 1-dish, insufficient cutlery etc. Nowhere to place clothes, had to put on floor. Only 1 bath towel each, no hand towels, or tea-towels. No mirrors anywhere in the property, no bedside table in the bedrooms, no electric shaving point. Had to wash up when we arrived as someone had left milk in a glass on the kitchen table which had turned to "cheese." The place has potential, but the owners need to properly equip it, especially at nearly £100 per night and judging by the leftover milk in the glass properly clean the place after guests depart
• Katy (8/5): Basic, but clean and comfortable. - Property is clean, tidy, and equipped with comfortable bedding and towels. Was reasonable value for money given the three separate bedrooms and the number of people it could sleep. Owner was responsive to messages and sent lots of comms on accessing the property and what to expect. It is definitely not cosy. There are no lampshades, just bulbs and there are no mirrors - so take your own if you plan to apply make up / need it for hair styling. There’s no real pathway to the front door so you have to walk through wet grass, assume it’s a nightmare in winter!). No off road parking, but that’s clear in the listing, but I wasn’t happy leaving the car outside on the street so parked it at my friends nearby.
• Neil (3/5): Very disappointing, rubbish and cigarette ends littered the outside spoiling our stay. - The property was clean inside except that the kitchen bin had not been emptied of takeaway packaging and debris. The bed was comfortable. The property was quiet. The bathroom and shower were good. The outside rubbish bin was overflowing with takeaway packaging and debris. There was so much that plastic bags had been filled and left next to the bin, likely to attract rats. The porch outside the back door was full of cigarette ands and other rubbish. There was an old mattress in the back garden. There were more cigarette ends in the front lawn as well as some dog mess close to the front door. The property was badly equipped, no clothes hangers, no drinking glasses, no kitchen towels, no tea spoons, no bedside tables or lamps, no lampshades only bare bulbs. There was not one mirror in the property much to my wife's annoyance. We reported all this to the owner who promised to correct everything and report back to us but we heard no more.

• Craig (10/5): Nicest place we’ve stayed while we’ve been on vacation in the UK. - The property was very clean. They have completely remodeled the inside of this place. Everything smelled clean and fresh, which isn’t always the case when renting an entire apartment. I really appreciated that. Living space was open and comfortable. Very nice place to stay. The location isn’t the greatest.
