Guest Reviews
- James (7/5): - Dog friendly Overlooked/lack of privacy
- Diane and Sean (10/5): Blissful. - Beautiful location. Rustic farm setting. Once inside the accommodation, everything is exceptionally appointed. Complete contrast to a typical farmhouse exterior - so both criteria met, with sheepdog to welcome you, alongside welcoming, friendly, relaxed and accommodating hosts . Top of the range furnishings. Beautiful bed linens. Everything needed is provided , I just wish we could have stayed longer to take in the outstanding mendip hill scenery. Perfect for a rambling/walking holiday. Mendips one side, Exmoor the other. In fact you are in Exmoor National Trust country.
Additional touches;-
Bathroom accessories, milk, coffee, cooking oils and washing up liquid provided, so no issues if you have not remembered these. Nothing not to like. Fantastic value for money.

- Chris (10/5): We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed using the Furze has a base to explore Minehead, Dunster and Watchet area. - It was comfortable, had everything required and was as described in a lovely farm setting. Nothing, It met our expectations.
- Will (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay - Really nice and clean property with incredibly friendly hosts! Nothing I would change, quite small but perfect for a couple as you don’t need any more space
- Oliver (8/5): - The reception from Lucy was very friendly and she helped us a lot with her knowledge of the area. The flapjacks awaiting us were a lovely touch!
The level of communication before arrival was excellent. The remote nature of the property was both a pro and a con.
- Ivo (9/5): - Etwas abgelegene Unterkunft, in der man deshalb aber auch seine Ruhe hat. Sehr nett eingerichtet; Parkieren absolut problemlos. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Gerne jederzeit wieder.
- Mandy (10/5): - From start to finish it was excellent. The hosts were absolutely fantastic we even had little treats left for us such as eggs , milk, and a beautiful homemade Victoria sponge which we cleared off with great pleasure x Loved everything
- Annette (10/5): We loved it and will be going back. - It was just so cosy, beautiful location, the owners were just great. We did wonder about where to store groceries so a food cupboard and also full length mirror
- James (10/5): Perfect place to relax and unwind in a beautiful location. - Loved the idyllic location which was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome pack was delicious, especially the cake and cream scones.Lucy was a great host and even took time out of her very busy day to let us meet one of her newborn lamb's 😀. A super comfortable bed with everything we needed for our stay in the accommodation. A real relaxing break was enjoyed and we will be back again soon. No dislikes.
