• Raniero (3/5): - The location and furniture was fine. The bedroom had no wardrobe and mirror, The outside facade was horrible. I’d like to start by saying that I’m not usually the type of person who leaves bad reviews. Normally, if I’m not happy with something, I just let it slide. However, this time I feel that leaving a negative review is absolutely necessary. When my girlfriend and I booked the apartment, we expected it to be quiet, just as described on Booking. Upon arrival, our host reassured us that the bar located right in front of the apartment (barely 4 meters away) wouldn’t be an issue because he had an arrangement with the owner that by 1:00 a.m. all noise would stop. We weren’t thrilled to hear this, but since we were already there, we decided to stay and hoped everything would be fine. Unfortunately, on the very first night, we realized that wasn’t true at all. Loud noise and shouting from the open courtyard of the bar, right beneath our apartment, went on until 2:30 a.m., making it impossible to sleep – even after we told the owner how serious the problem was. For eight nights in a row, this nightmare continued. On some nights, people were still lingering outside our apartment making noise as late as 5:30 a.m. Sadly, our holiday ended up being nothing like what we had hoped for. Sconsigliatissimo!! Se volete dormire la notte ,non andate in questo appartamento! C è un bar Rumorosissimo, proprio di fronte la camera da letto! Senza alcun Rispetto per noi,(che pure abbiamo pagato e giustamente vogliamo riposare) fino all'alba -ovvero le 5 di Mattina-schiamazzi ,urla ,e grida tutte le sere!Ancora piu colpevole è il padrone di casa ,che si è guardato bene dall' avvisarci dell' esistenza del bar! Quando gli abbiamo fatto presente che non ci piaceva questa cosa,ha detto che era d'accordo con il barista,che avrebbe chiuso il locale all'1 di notte,quindi di non preoccuparci😬!
• Fontana (10/5): Great place to stay at if you come to visit Heraklion. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back. Can’t c - Great location. Very spacious inside and with all amenities needed! The host Giannis was very helpful and friendly, giving us recommendations for our stay, including places to visit and restaurants to eat at, and helping us find nearby parking in the area.

• Michael (10/5): This is a perfectly located & cost effective one-bedroom apartment with fantastic amenities, inclusive of an amazing - The property was in a perfect position - close to all that Heraklion has to offer. The property itself had been recently renovated. The bathroom was perfect, as were the bedroom & sitting room. Our host Gianni was absolutely amazing - he gave us some great restaurant suggestions & had stocked the kitchen beautifully. And, as if all he had provided wasn’t enough, he came by with the most wonderful cake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Cretan hospitality is renowned but Gianni took it to the next level! One had to be careful with the steps, especially entering the property - not a big deal & expected in an older city. A bar across the laneway could have been annoying on the weekend but was not a problem for us at all.
• Allen (8/5): A great place to become acquainted with Heraklion. - Giannis the host was very hospitable and helpful. Good location. Easy walk to the center of the old town. Fully renovated flat with everything you might need. Popular bar across the way means you have only a few steps to your bed! Wi-fi somewhat spotty. Conversation from the bar was sometimes loud, but had less effect in the bedroom - no lost sleep.
