Her apartments are very comfortable and well equipped (even has a toaster and kettle) Not far out of Como, walking distance to ferry, bus and Cernobbio with 4 supermarkets close by, easy parking in a quiet area proving an excellent base to explore the region She has a lovely family and we enjoyed our first stay so much we came back and stayed again! Highly recommend if you are looking for a great quiet apartment close to everything

Do not hestitate to book! - Giedre is an exceptionally kind and generous host who made our stay feel truly special!!! 💛 Unlike typical self check-in apartments, she was always present, attentive, empathetic, responsive 24/7 and went above and beyond, especially when my husband got sick, helping with medicine, tea, laundry, and anything we needed and she didn’t charge us for a single thing! She welcomed us with delicious homemade cakes every day, shared raw honey made by her mom, and even offered us a free ride to the wedding with her car. There was also a beautiful wine cellar right next to our room, which added such a unique, charming touch to the stay. We had a beautiful courtyard just for ourselves to have tea and coffee every morning. Everything Giedre did was filled with so much warmth and kindness, it truly felt like we were being taken care of by family. The apartment itself is spotless, comfortable, modern yet beautifully styled with an authentic Italian feel. The location in Cernobbio is perfect, walkable, and close to Villa d’Este, yet away from heavy tourist areas. Overall, it felt like a warm, homey boutique hotel experience at incredible value for money. I couldn’t recommend it more. Not a single bad thing to say.

Giedre hat uns mit vielen wertvollen Tipps versorgt und mit Wein, Käse und Kuchen verwöhnt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Giedre ist eine wunderbar herzliche Gastgeberin.

• Maati (10/5): Exceptional and welcoming place, will book again in future! - Giedre was an exceptional host and a wonderful kind lady and welcomed us warmly with a delicious spread of wine and cheese and guided us with spot-on recommendations. We went to the local restaurant walking distance that she recommended for 2 nights. We call her our Italian Amma (mom), she was the best part of our Italian trip. Truly special We loved everything. If I have to think, maybe more plush plumped pillows for the bed, but thats just a personal thing.
• Paul (10/5): The best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in! - Giedre was an exceptional host and a wonderful kind lady. She helped us navigate our stay which was only three nights and wished we'd stayed longer. Giedre has lots of local knowedge of the area and helped us with advice and also restaurant recommendations. The apartment was absolutely immaculate, had everything we needed and a perfect location. There was also a lovey shaded courtyard with orginal working well. This was a great cooler outdoor spot which we used for evening drinks. Como itself is very busy so this apartment which is just a short walk to local restaurants and into Cernobbio is ideal. There is a small supermarket within a two minutes walk and a large shopping centre with a supermarket a few minutes further. There is a bus stop just a short walk from the apartment with regular buses into Como and other towns around the lake. However, it's a lovely scenic 40 minute walk along the lake into Como. There is a lot of history behind the original farmhouse from which it had been converted, which Giedre shared with us and has been in their family for generations. We always self cater and I can genuinely say that this is the best S/C accommodation that we have ever stayed in with the best host! We will definitely return! Thank you so much Giedre!

• Ont (9/5): Superb - From the very beginning, Giedre welcomed us warmly and guided us with spot-on recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring the towns around Lake Como. It's just a 5-minute drive to the pier, and from there, you can easily reach wherever you want. The house truly felt like our own home, and we had a peaceful stay. My family and I were able to relax in a clean and comfortable environment and had a great time. The bathroom was very functional and clean, and the window blinds worked well. There’s a nice coffee machine and plenty of cups. If you’d like to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials. Giedre is a fantastic host, and if I visit the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here once more. Your kindness will remain in our memories as an unforgettable moment, Giedre. Paradise on Earth - this is the best place in the world but very specific. if you are looking for a high class hotel this is not for you. this was 1000% a homestay. if that's what you want - meeting authentic italian culture and hospitality, then this is the place. great location - 11 mins bike ride from the historic old city. she gave us the bikes for free. excellent. you have read about the antipasti welcome and the thurs pizza nights. Cool. She planned my days and gave me excellent advice about what, when and where. And she insisted i eat her tomatoes from her garden. the best place in the world. i will 1000% go back!!! everything was absolutely awesome. clean, quiet, nearby everything. great pizzeria 5 mins walk - big store 1 min walk. the air conditioning and the wifi and the stove all worked great. ten min drive to the beach and 40 mins to more popular cities. and 7 min drive into Switzerland. Perfect location for day trips. Lake Lugano in Switzerland was our favorite. She recommended that one for me too. Homestay / tour guide / angel - thanx so much Giedre!!!
• Emily (10/5): Best part of our trip to Italy! - We absolutely loved staying at Cadepulan! Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable, window shades blocked out 100% of the sunlight, and the AC was also very effective (thankfully, since it was very hot out in July). We loved the little balcony and enjoyed sitting out there in the morning The house itself was beautiful with lots of lovely outdoor space, including a little vegetable garden and small cafe tables to eat at. The highlight of our stay though was by far the host Giedre and her lovely family: she was so kind, helpful, and generous throughout our stay in a way that went totally above and beyond our expectations -- including offering to give us rides on several occasions, and sharing delicious homemade food with us almost every day we were there. I can't recommend staying here enough if you want to feel warmly welcomed and at home during your stay around Lake Como!

• Thomas (10/5): Dream accommodation in beautiful Como - This was without a doubt our favorite accommodation on our europe trip. If you want a 'homestay' style accommodation in a generational italian family home, where you are cared for as if you are part of a traditional Italian family, then this is for you. Giedre is sooo accomadating, from a cheese board and home made wine on arrival, to a full traditional pizza night with the family, home made tiramisu. You will not get a better experience at an accommodation than here. In terms of your actual apartment, it has been very recently renovated, and renovated very well. The kitchen is very well stocked for any meal. The apartment is very spacious. The bathroom has been very well done with great shower pressure. The bed is extremely comfy. Giedre has literally thought of everything you will need in your stay. If you are staying in Como, you should book this accommodation. We loved every minute of our stay here, the only thing we didnt like was leaving.

Our recommendation: visit the beautiful city Varenna (early in the morning). And: If you need any tips, you can always ask Giedre for advice. However, the highlight of our stay had to be the unexpected invitation from Giedre and her husband to join them for a dinner. This unforgettable evening was a perfect blend of Italian charm and hospitality. We were treated to delectable pizza, a wonderful tiramisu, and their own delicious wine – an experience that truly immersed us in the local culture. The conversations flowed effortlessly, making us feel like we were catching up with old friends. All in all, our stay at Giedre's place exceeded all expectations. • Timucin (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel and the rooms are all newly renovated and super clean. The owner of the hotel, Giedre, is the best hostess you can imagine. She welcomes you so warm that you almost feel at home. The location is perfect for visiting the Lake Como area while still having the feeling of experiencing the everyday life of ordinary people. You can make your daily shopping in the supermarket which is 5 - 6 minutes to walk and you can reach easily the fairy stop "Tavernola" to explore Como, Moltrasio and all the beautiful villages around. We had a rental car and no problem to find a parking place. There were plenty of parking lots around the hotel. Nothing to complain. It was really a beautiful stay.

Giedre was super welcoming and made me feel at home. Free parking on the street and easy access to Como. There was nothing I didn’t like :-)
• Barbara (10/5): A true gem just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Como - All of the reviews about our host Giedre turned out to be true! She is incredibly warm and genuinely eager to help you settle in and enjoy the property and Lake Como. The house has been in her husband's family for 5 generations and has an amazing history. They recently did a gut renovation and created 4 lovely, modern apartments with style and comfort. Parking was very easy right in front of the house on a quiet street, so I don't think it would ever be a problem. Walking to Como city takes about 45 min - half of it on a sidewalk next to the road and half on a lovely promenade along the water. We were glad we had a car to drive north and explore many little centers along the lake. A highlight was renting a boat at Turati in Argegno (Tel 031/821268). We don't have much boating experience to speak of, but it was super easy for our family of 4 to take it out past some amazing villas to Belagio (we didn't dock it there - just looked at the village from the water and even turned off the motor for a little swim.) If you do rent from them, park at the cathedral, where they have 3-hour free parking! Thanks to Gierdre for all of the delicious treats and fantastic hospitality!

But the most amazing thing about the stay was the host Giedre. She was so welcoming and helpful throughout the whole stay, she even prepared me dinner when I arrived late in the evening. There was wine and water in the fridge. She offered me a bike to go see around. Couldn’t have asked for anything better! nothing
