Guest Reviews
- Margaret (9/5): Local experience with a stunning view - The view from the property is absolutely stunning—exactly what you hope for in Positano (the water, the boats, the colorful houses on the cliffs, the winding roads, the steps...) We especially loved the outdoor terrace with colorful bougainvillea and wisteria, perfect for relaxing in the early morning or evening when the weather is cooler. The house is full of charm and offers a true local experience. With five of us, the space worked well, though one upstairs room without A/C got a bit warm, so one of us opted for the comfortable day bed downstairs. The other two bedrooms (connecting to each other), each had direct patio access and beautiful views. The house offers everything you need for extended stay. Communication with our host through WeChat & Google Translate worked smoothly, and she shared fresh tomatoes from her garden—a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Overall, we had a memorable and authentic stay in Positano. Getting luggages up to the property(consider porter service, they can deliver luggages to the property). Be prepared for some stair climbing to reach the property (approx. 60 -70 stairs from street level to the property), and expect plenty of walking and steps throughout Positano—it’s all part of the charm, but good to keep in mind! The stunning view from the property is rewarding.
- Alex (10/5): Stunning property with amazing views, a homely authentic Italian experience - Loved this property, stunning views, authentic feel and beautiful host.
Picture perfect, and a well keep heritage building, styled with class - gorgeous
It was a little walk from town, still in a great location, close to a free beach that was beautiful.
Perfect home for a large group or family traveling, lots of rooms and two bathrooms. It was a struggle for my mum, in hindsight.
The Australian dollar to the Euro is not in our favour so the price was a lot.
- Ayoob (8/5): Relaxing and refreshing - Welcoming. The location is in the quiet side of Positano but still manageable. Nice restaurants just a few steps down. The market is about 15 mins walk downhill. The beach is 15 mins away stairs (like every other place in positano). View was great. Option from the host to prepare some groceries in advance like fruit eggs bread etc (for welling to pay guests) as it was a struggle to find and carry groceries
- Michael (7/5): Good - I loved the terrace and the views, truly amazing. The little appartment is cozy, the 2 bathrooms are good. There are 3 bedrooms; two of the bedrooms are connected, so you might have to cross into one to go to the bathroom. That setup is ok for families with small kids. The 3rd bedroom is super tiny (for a teenager). It is 15 mns from the Positano area with the beach and restaurants. It is really close, so don't think 15mns is far at all. In Positano everything is up the cliff, so unless you are staying at a pricey hotel right on the beach, this is one of the.close ones. It has numerous restaurants and little coffee/pastry shops right down the stairs, which we used when we were tired and didn't want to walk too much. The host was very nice and helpful. Internet was decent. No breakfast included (of course), but you'll find plenty in town, or buy your stuff to prepare yourself (but who wants to do that when you are in beautiful Positano). Overall good little place. The two connecting bedrooms (because my kids are 18) and I felt like we needed a little more privacy.
- Jennifer (10/5): A Positano Gem - I loved the outdoor area. The view was spectacular. The decor of the house was authentically Italian, so much charm. The steep stairs from the beach, but that is Positano!
