• Sarah (6/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. - A lovely cottage in a beautiful location, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The outlook to the front was glorious. After a long, tiring journey It would have been nice to have had a pint of milk provided. The exit would benefit from a mirror to check for vehicles before driving out.

Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area. - Very clean, very modern, very spacious, great space, some lovely touches like the conservatory, the garden, the lamps that charge your phone. Only 1 sachet (not sure if that’s what they are called). Only enough for 1 cup of tea/coffee. Shower temperature was a bit hot and cold (literally)
• Lesley (10/5): A wonderful place to stay - Loved everything, really spotless, quiet with fantastic views. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed very comfortable and the shower was hot. All good. Nothing really, maybe provide some shampoo and shower gel but we had our own anyway.

• Alan (10/5): Fantastic country cottage. - A fantastic, fully equipped self catering cottage, equipped with new and excellent furnishings. Spacious and squeaky clean, and with lovely views across the fields dotted with brown cattle. Even has a glass conservatory, and up some tricky stairs, a lovely outdoor table and chairs with an even better view. Situated a very quiet rural setting; no disturbing noises or lights - a perfect getaway for a couple, and for a longer stay, with clothes cupboard available in the bedroom. Nothing - best bnb I've stayed in for many years.

I would recommend this to any couple wishing to get away for a quiet retreat. The views are spectacular, rolling green hills with some cows in the distance. 10/10 Nothing. This accommodation was simply fabulous!

• Anne (10/5): It was a relaxing peaceful comfortable break !! We will be back !! - This was our second stay at Treetops and we felt at home straight away !! The views are stunning !! Treetops is comfortable and has all you need for a lovely stay a great base to visit the local area it’s set in the beautiful Powys country side !!well worth a visit !! We loved the property so had nothing to dislike !
• Finlay (10/5): In summary, our stay was beyond belief: absolutely perfect! - The location was absolutely stunning and the hosts were wonderful. The property itself was incredible, with a brilliant welcome folder to walk you through it all! The only issue we faced was locating the property, however this was no fault of the hosts but due to the poor signal in the Welsh Valley! The hosts provided us with a What3Words which, if we had had signal, would have gotten us there perfectly! Again, this is not the fault of the property whatsoever!
• Steve (9/5): Relaxing and convenient to Welshpool and Castell Powis - Well refurbished, simply decorated and furnished but with all we needed and comfortable. Minor niggle was having a separate toilet without a wash hand basin.

• Brian (8/5): Idilic - I love the peace and quiet, the location is beautiful, great to just get away to relax, or maybe if you love walking. Stairs up to the grassed area where the table and chairs are was a bit to steep, could maybe do with a hand rail, i have a dodgy knee lol. A welcome pack would feel more personnel (used to getting them at other places we have stayed) and a guest book maybe. All in all a fab weekend away, everything was to a very clean standard, can deffo recommend for all age's of couples, will not disapoint 😍 No soft lighting in the living room, and wifi a bit hit and miss as others have stated, we took our firestick, which worked great, i could connect to the wifi but husband couldn't.
• David (9/5): Away from it all - We loved the peace and quiet plus the privacy the hedges gave us. It's a lovely area. We would probably have spent more time in the garden if the weather had been warmer. On arrival we found the TV was 'smart' and could only be used for channels that visitors had subscribed to. It would be good to state this in the description of the building on the website.

• Michael (10/5): A modern comfortable place to stay. - The newly renovated property is bright and airy and is furnished in a modern style. The lack of terrestial TV. The TV in the property is a so-called smart tv with no input from an aerial or dish. You therefore need to bring a computer or tablet to enable you to access any streaming services to which you have access at home through the internet.

We would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in what we can only say was stunning inside and out. We will definitely be going back, that's for sure. Thank you, Sorrell and Gavin, for your hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable.xx There was nothing we didn't like. We loved every minute.

• Rachael (10/5): It was a slice of calm and comfort in our busy demanding lives. - Our host Sorrel and her family were lovely really welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much. The property was excellent extremely clean, was stocked with everything you would need and want. Shower was great bed very comfy. Decoration was fresh and calming. We relaxed here before and after work. The views and the garden are stunning. I wish we could have stayed longer we will both be coming back with our partners for a calming break. if you need some calm, and rejuvenation in some glorious nature. Book some time away from the daily rush at treetops. You’ll want to go back for more🥰 There wasn’t anything to dislike

The accommodation was immaculate, and beautifully presented. A real home from home especially with all the little added details. It had all we needed for a relaxing break. The grounds were stunning, and the accommodation is located just a couple of minutes drive to shops, pubs, restaurants etc. It really was an amazing break and we will definitely be returning. The unit is completely self contained, comfortable and well appointed. Well done Sorrel and Gavin! Parking …but we understand that plans to correct this will be done in the very near future. At least there is a parking space!

Nothing to dislike Just a note to others guests - TV, DVDs & an HDMI cable are provided but you’ll need a laptop/streaming device to watch tv channels. We really enjoyed the digital detox but might go better prepared if we stay longer next time.
• Charlie (10/5): Comfortable, spacious and very clean property with rural views. A great base to explore mid Wales. - Very clean and well decorated property adjacent to (but seperate) from owners house. Great views and very quiet and peaceful despite being close to a B road (just the occasional tractor). Well appointed kitchen and bathroom with all mod cons. Sorrel and Gavin were available if required and should be proud of what they have achieved in refurbishing the property to such a high standard. Parking a bit tight. No standard TV signal but wasn't an issue. You can attach devices to stream to the TV but we didn't have the technology and wasn't a problem as we hadn't planned on watching TV anyway. DVDs were available.

• Anne (10/5): Perfect weekend stay at Treetops in beautiful countryside !! - Treetops is in beautiful countryside with great views all around ! It was been tastefully decorated throughout and boasts a beautiful kitchen /lounge modern bathroom with shower and separate toilet ! It is very spacious with conservatory that is used as a dinning area which catches the morning sun !! The host was there to meet us on arrival and made us feel really welcome and we were able to contact them easily when needed ! it’s a great Base to visit Powis castle which we did and would recommend highly along with lots of other places of interest ! we would highly recommend Treetops to anyone and I’m sure we will return ourselves if we’re able to book it again ! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like ! we loved it !

• Lynn (10/5): I was on a course so didn’t get chance to fully appreciate it. - The location was rural with stunning views, but in easy distance of shops/garage etc. The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard throughout and has a lovely layout. I struggle to find something I didn’t like.
• Rhodri (10/5): Wonderfully peaceful, immaculately presented home from home. - Beautifully presented throughout, tastefully decorated. Wonderfull, rolling hillside views. Hosts were a perfect combination of friendly and welcoming and yet kept respectfully distant. Very generous amount of space, with all of the conveniences expected of a modern home. Could not come more highly recommended. Do not overlook this gem if you are travelling to or through this area!

The property has picture windows to take in the stunning views. The hosts were most accommodating and very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a couple looking for a place to stay in Wales. That we hadn't booked for longer!

The property is equipped with modern furnishings and appliances and is immaculately clean and very comfortable throughout. I would highly recommend this property. The host was extremely welcoming and very helpful too. Nothing - everything was just great.
• Lynn (10/5): What a find! - Newly refurbished, very tastefully, with everything we might need. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had a dishwasher. The home was very warm and cosy, with lovely views. Also the Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and fast. Please note that it is better to follow the owner’s directions to the property as the sat nav is not totally reliable around there. That we couldn’t stay longer!
