• Franziska (10/5): - We had a great time in this house. It is very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The big hot tub was a highlight, for the adults as well as the kids. The hosts were very responsive and even proactively informed us about weather warnings for our departure. Everything was great. Maybe make the outside light at the stairs motion detected, so it doesn't shine all night.
• William (10/5): Spectacular views, amazing hot tub, comfortable clean and spacious house. - The property was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was out of this world. We used it 2x a day and made some great memories. We had nothing we didn’t like.
• Annika (10/5): Rundum Zuhause gefühlt - Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und hatten Hrossholt ausgesucht, weil hier jeder ein eigenes Zimmer haben konnte. Natürlich waren dabei manche kleiner und manche größer, aber die Aufteilung des Hauses ist super und auch die gemeinsam genutzten Bereiche sind so großzügig bemessen und gemütlich, dass man sich dort einfach gern aufgehalten und entspannt hat. Und durch die 2 geräumigen Bäder gab es auch hier keinen Stau. In der großen Küche mit Kochinsel in der Mitte konnten wir abends wunderbar in der Gruppe kochen und am langen Esstisch gemeinsam Essen. Absolutes Highlight ist natürlich der Pool - ganz einfach über die Terrassentür zu erreichen mit herrlichem Blick in die freie Landschaft, viel Platz, wunderbar warmem Wasser auch bei kaltem Januarwind und tatsächlich - wir hatten das Glück - Nordlichtern direkt über unseren Köpfen! -

• Yvonne (10/5): - Ein wundervolles Haus, mitten in der Einsamkeit und absoluter Ruhe. Alles war perfekt gereinigt, wunderschön dekoriert und man hat sich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Pool war ein Traum, die Lage perfekt um Snaefellness zu erkunden. Alles war perfekt... nur ein Tipp für die Küche... ein größerer Topf wäre noch toll, insbesondere da das Haus für 10 Personen geeignet ist. Ansonsten war unser Aufenthalt unfassbar schön. Vielen Dank!

• maximiliano (10/5): Perfecta, lástima que nos hizo mal tiempo y no pudimos disfrutar de la barbacoa, pero si de su baño caliente exterior!! - La casa es impresionante, perfectamente amueblada y tiene de todo lo que necesites. Súper limpia y estás en medio del campo. Perfecta para un grupo varios días Hay que tener cuidado con la ubicación ya que te manda a lugares cercanos, dependiendo del navegador o GPS.

• Earl (10/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Property was on the way to Snaefellsjokull National Park fairly well situated for a first night stop after morning arrival in Reykjavik. No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views. Being a little closer to a town would be more convenient but not a big deal.

• Kristian (10/5): Better than the photos! - The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!
• Goonerdad (9/5): Excellent Family Adventure - We were a family of 9, 5 adults, 3 teenagers and a child seeing in the New Year in Iceland. Hrossholt is a fantastic property in a fairly remote location, but the views are spectacular. The house itself inside is very roomy and modern, as well as very warm with underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped with every facility you might need and the two bathrooms with their walk in showers, always had hot water with plenty of clean towels. The five bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfy and there was sufficient hanging and cupboard space for clothes. Outside, the large hot tub proved to be a focal point most evenings and with no light pollution we saw in 2025 with an amazing display from the Aurora. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday home if you want an escape in a snowy paradise. Nothing.

• Robert (10/5): We loved our stay at Hrossholt, lovely place in a great location, very relaxing and comfortable with all the amenities - This place is a real gem on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula…secluded in the beautiful countryside, with all the amenities…the hot tub is a wonderful way to end the day in any weather…Heidi and Rob are excellent hosts…their communications are prompt and informative…their place is modern, spotless, and comfortable…we highly recommend this property
