• Barry (7/5): Nice property, not a great location - The venue had all the things you'd hope to find there and we didn't need anything at all. The hosts were great and facilitated a slightly earlier check-in as we had indoor cats and coming from Brisbane wanted to beat yhe afternoon traffic. Unfortunately it wasn't the quiet Hinterland getaway I had hoped for. The property sits on a busy road (motorbikes, cars etc) and they were noisy frommearly each day. The property also has dogs and they bark from early on and if the owners are out, seem to bark endlessly.

• Everett (9/5): - My partner and I absolutely loved the place and the owners, the dogs were very friendly and a beautiful spot, very close to everything on the mountain and lots of good lookouts. Fully equipped with all kitchen utensils and very accessible parking. We read that there was a toy poodle and showed up to find a Doberman and a mini dachshund, we also could not find a bath mat and resorted to using a spare towel, and came to find the table and chairs in the yard in the photos were not there but other than that we had the most amazing stay and would love to come back.

• Melanie (10/5): Excellent, comfortable accomodation. - We loved this spacious accommodation. Full size kitchen, dining and lounge area and comfortable beds with lots of room for our family. The hosts were lovely and the house was equipped with everything for a really comfortable, private stay. The location was perfect and we were able to easily explore Mt Tamborine. We appreciated the coffee machine, teas, coffee's and milk. We highly recommend Berghoffen and will return when we come back to this area. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Better than as advertised and had almost everything you could need in a house if you did need it, but it was not cluttered either. We liked everything, honestly. We would've liked to have stayed longer, we shall next time.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Fantastic, How’s the Serenity! - This house is perfect, my son & I enjoyed the fire place, & I enjoyed the lounge chase as well, this house is exceptionally, well appointed, it has everything you need! Such as very comfortable beds, a Beautiful modern Open plan dining, kitchen & lounge area. A lovely modern bathroom. Everything in this house is modern, as this house has all of the mod cons! (except for a dishwasher, which is not an issue for me)! Nothing, everything is perfect!

Not that I don't like. Maybe a light above the house number would help when traveling at night. Was bit tricky to get there at night and raining.

• Terry (10/5): Couldn't have been better! - Beautifully equipped kitchen with everything including a great coffee machine. Spacious & comfortable rooms made the stay relaxing. Lovely bathroom - excellent hot showers after a busy made for relaxing evening after a busy day Beds were great - best we've had on a weekend/few days away. Location was great, private, relaxing and peaceful with the sound of birdlife. Wood fire took the chill off the air (wintertime can be quite fresh up on Tamborine.) Hosts were fantastic, very helpful & friendly couple. Look forward to seeing Bertram + Akane again next time! Thanks guys! What didn't we like? hmmm, that's a really tough one - nothing to write here!

• Miss (10/5): I'd return definitely. - Great secure, private, clean, open spacious place. I loved it. And I had a secure outside area attached to my accommodation for my dog to go out safely. Also good walking tracks rite out the gates and a Cafe across the road. Bit of a hilly drive up if your not use to that, just be aware but it's only 10 minutes of that. The accommodation was fantastic and hosts. Respond to messages promptly also.
