• Jihye (9/5): - 숙소 주인분과 연락이 빨라서 좋았어여 뭐가 궁금한게 있을때 메세지보내면 빠르게 답변 주시더라고요 위치는 도심까지 버스한대로 다닐수 있었고 버스정류장과 가까웠어요 방이 추울까봐 걱정했는데 온돌히팅방식이 좀 천천히 따뜻해지더라고요 밤에 따뜻하게 잘 지냈어요 방은 사진과 동일했어요 쾌적했고 깨끗했습니다 다소 방음은 되지 않았던거 같은데 동일한 시기에 숙박할때 조용한 사람들 만나서 다행이에요 둘이 지내기 조금 좁은 느낌도 있는데 잠만자고 투어할거라 괜찮아요
• Mia (8/5): The room was clean, but there were many problems. - 部屋はとても綺麗でアメニティーも全て揃っていました The room was very clean, and all the amenities were provided 部屋の暖房がつくまでにものすごく時間がかかりました。(正確に時間は測ってないけど2.3時間ほど) リビング？から聞こえてくる人の声がうるさすぎました。そして、夜ご飯を温めるために電子レンジを使おうとしたら壊れていて使えなく冷たいまま食べなければなりませんでした It took a very long time for the heater in the room to start working (I didn’t time it exactly, but it was about 4-5hours). Also, the noise coming from the living room was extremely loud. And when I tried to use the microwave to heat up my dinner, it was broken, so I had to eat it cold

• Rowena (10/5): A welcoming, quiet refuge after a busy day of being a tourist - It has been a pleasure to stay in such a grand home that is well looked after and very clean. It is 2 minutes walk from the #10 bus line along Granville St, taking you directly to Granville Island, the museum and downtown. It is also located in a beautiful, very leafy suburb that we loved to walk around in the evenings. nothing
• Dhairya (10/5): Cozy, clean, organized and well equipped exceptionally decent house. - The location where it is, the owner who was willing to extend help even on Canada Day. The house is big and spacious. I would recommend family and friends to stay on their visit to Vancouver. Moreover, the house had all resources to cook your own food and bbq if anyone loves to host it. Neah, that’s a wrong question. I loved my stay.

• Mara (10/5): Such a great stay! - We had a great experience at Jovehouse! The room was big and bright, and it had anything we could ever need. It was the first time we tried this kind of accomodation, but it was definitely a pleasant discovery! Highly recommended!!

(see below) Proper explanation how to lock and unlock the front door. A look under the bed discovers lots of dust, a plastic bag. This need some attention.

There was a note saying it was recently out of service, but the paper looked very old, suggesting it had been broken for quite some time.

• Nataya (9/5): - The room is excellent. Beds are super comfortable. We had walk-in closets. We had a private bathroom. The kitchen and dining room were big and luxury. The shower head was leaking. The bath tub jacuzzi was not working. There was no bedside light. The oven displayed in Chinese has no English options.

About ~25min (~50min with traffic) bus ride to get to the city center with the bus stop just around the corner. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Clean room and bathroom with comfy mattress. Hot shower with good pressure.

• Cumbrianna (6/5): Good location, but let down by a lack of care and attention. - The location was excellent for a short ride to the airport and close to Granville Street for trolley buses into the city centre. The host kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in a room prior to checking in. Although the location was good, the accommodation was let down by an uncomfortable night's sleep caused by an overly warm duvet (with no lighter alternatives) and a really bulky pillow. Furthermore, the bath towels were damp, so we were denied the option to have a shower the night before our flight. I messaged the owner re this issue, and he suggested I get new towels from the linen cupboard, but all these were damp, too! This is unacceptable service!

• Susan (5/5): We were a little disappointed to say the least. - There was no breakfast and the location is not very convenient to downtown Vancouver I didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t anybody around staff wise to ask for anything in particular. I wasn’t crazy about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I question as to whether the bed had been slept in before we got there because as soon as we turned down the sheets, it was all wrinkled And looked slept in. They only had one lamp on the bedside table as opposed to one on each side. all we got for our 3 night stay were two bath towels no hand towel or face cloth.

• Olivera (10/5): Definitely we will come back and I have recommended to all my friends. - Beautiful, very comfortable house, quiet and close to downtown. Highly recommend. Traffic noise from the street, bring ear-plugs. Noise was only until ten, so we slept well!

Ao beautifully decorated , with fully fitted kitchen and perks, such as freshly made coffee in the morning. Very friendly and helpful hosts, happy to help you with anything you need. You feel at home! Quite nosy, as it is located on a busy road. It wasn’t a trouble for us though.

Das Zimmer ist in einem wunderschönen großem Haus mit großem Wohn - und Essbereich, gut ausgestatteter Küche und Terrasse/Garten, was alles mit genutzt werden darf. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind hochwertig und liebevoll ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut mit Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Am Besten war aber der sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Anfragen wurden sofort sehr freundlich beantwortet und entgegenkommend behandelt. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

• William (9/5): Very Nice house. - Beautiful home! There were other couples staying there, but we were able to enjoy the reading in the living room, and used the kitchen. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as I would have thought it would be staying in a high end home.
• Winfried (8/5): Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt, gerne wieder. - Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wir konnten unsere Fahrräder an einem sicheren Ort unterstellen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da der Weg zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Innenstadt nah ist, man benötigt kein Auto. Die Sauberkeit hätte ein wenig besser sein können. Zimmer war sauber, mit der Küche musste man sich ein wenig arrangieren. Aber, alles vorhanden was man für eine entspannte Zeit benötigt.

• Starrycreaturz (1/5): Caution - Character of house. Well appointed kitchen. Spacious and airy. House was very poorly cleaned. There was hair in bed, bathtub & shower. Pillows were stained & had no pillowcases on several pillows. Sheets had visibly evident stains on both beds. The chair at the vanity had makeup spilled on it. A drawer was filled with used panty hose, the bathroom had visibly evident mold around shower base. We did not complete our contract with owner. We left and had to find alternate accommodation on short notice. We also were out two trips via Uber. The owner was gracious in his dealings with us but offered no compensation other than the return of the original price paid.
