• Christina (10/5): Great hospitality - Private car park, safe, out of the road. Very silent during the night, walking distance from the centre of town, restaurants and pubs. The whole house is beautiful, spotless, tidy and beds are large and comfortable. The hosts are a fabulous couple, interesting, friendly, kind and helpful. Products used to prepare breakfast of high quality. We loved everything.

• Paul (8/5): We enjoyed our break in Newhaven, made even better by such a lovely host. - Svetlana was an exceptional host, even to the point of cooking special cakes for us. She was attentive at all times and made us feel welcome. The cooked breakfasts were great. Conversations with her were both informative and interesting. When we expressed concern about the steep walk to the B&B from town if we were to eat out, Svetlana said she would be happy to drive down and collect us. We were expecting to be able to play DVDs and CDs as stated in the description. We found no player to be able to do this. (possibly a mistake by Booking .com rather than the venue itself).

Good freshly cooked breakfast. Good location for events at Brighton and Hove stadium. Bathroom was a bit small but manageable. A larger person may have found space a limitation.

• Angela (10/5): Perfect, 🙏 😊🤗 - We were made to feel exceptionally welcome and Lana went the extra mile in every way! The bed(s) were very comfortable and my friend and I slept so well. Lana made a special breakfast for us every day and even went out to buy things that she knew we liked. From the fresh flowers in our room, the thoughtfulness of providing ice and fresh lime for our G&T’s, a perfect hostess whose local knowledge and advice was invaluable.

We slept so well and left for the ferry after a delicious breakfast. Svetlana is a very pleasant hostess. It could not be better. 😘😘 I can not think about anything negative.

Svetlana is the perfect host - kind, considerate and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room is clean and bright, and the breakfast looking out across the beautiful garden was delicious! We’ll definitely return if we’re ever in the area again.

We appreciated the offstreet parking. Our hosts were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome- it felt like we were visiting friends! Nothing was too much trouble for Svetlana and she cooked very delicious breakfasts for us each morning. No separate entrance but the room is exactly as advertised

Svetlana made a delicious early breakfast for us before our departure and gave us tips about the local area. We were very happy with our stay.
• Dave1966 (10/5): A wonderful - Svetlana was a brilliant host - very welcoming and looked after us. Nothing was too much bother and even offered us refreshments on arrival. The room - was very comfortable. Lovely bedding, teas/ coffees, water and some biscuits. The bed was very comfortable - had a great sleep as area was very quiet. Shower & bathroom was spotless. Shower was very powerful and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner supplied. Breakfast - we were asked our preferences the night before including a time we would like to have breakfast. The breakfast itself was beautiful. A mix of hot, cold, fruits, coffee/tea or water. Really wonderful. We loved everything and there was nothing we did not like.

A welcome breakfast in the morning and the host was kind enough to get alternative milk for me. No trouble parking, plenty of room on the drive. Would stay again if I need to visit the area again.

Many thanks Svetlana for helping with everything! - Svetlana and her husband were fantastic and this place was perfect for my overnight stay prior to an early morning ferry crossing. I had ridden down on my motorbike and got absolutely drenched en route. Svetlana kindly took all of my wet motorcycle gear and got it all warm and dry for the next morning. Thank you so much for this! The homemade plum tart was delicious too 🙏🏻

Delicious continental breakfast in the sunny conservatory, overlooking her beautiful garden. Fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden and home made bread for breakfast (among other things!) En suite bedroom. 20-30 min walk to the sea - we walked down to the coast and along the cliffs to Peacehaven for dinner then back again in time for bed. 20 minute drive to the incredible Seven Sisters country park, very worth a visit!

Lovely breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Room was comfortable. The bathroom is quite small (although the shower was very good).

• David (6/5): A Comfortable Stay in Newhaven - A self contained room downstairs in the house. Comfortable twin beds. A friendly host. A little way out of town in a residential area. Breakfast consists of only toast, marmalade and coffee (no cooked breakfast) so the 90 pound rate is a little high (compared to other B&Bs).
• Rachel (10/5): Perfect perfect perfect - Firstly, i Love how the host supplies toiletries as i completely forgot to bring mine, all of the little amendities were very helpful. The beds were so comfy and fresh feeling after a long day, nice soft carpet to walk on too. There is a cute table and chair with a tea tray with two glasses, two mugs and two gorgeous biscuits to dip in! and fresh water, an excellent tea, coffee and hot chocolate selection. The shower was squeaky clean as though it was brand new! We didn't use the TV but it was a perfect size. You can see it perfectly from the beds. Big wardrobe which has spare bedding inside. Nice spacious drawers. The whole experience was great from start to finish The room was immaculate and equipped with everything you need for a perfect relaxing stay. There was nothing that we didn't like. It was the perfect stay
