Guest Reviews
- Peter (9/5): Brilliant, Comfortable, Big, Would definetly stay again. - The size of the rooms
Underfloor heating.
Cleanliness
Hot Tub
Big comfy Beds Nothing really. The cobbled courtyard was a bit tricky for our motorbikes, but we managed. There was enough parking space for 4 motorbikes.
- Miles (10/5): A very enjoyable long weekend in a lovely house and a great area of the country - The house is lovely and a great space for a family get together. Facilities (bathrooms and kitchen) are high quality, bedrooms tidy, spacious and nicely decorated. Hot-tub was a hit, particularly with our two boys, as was the Wii and selection of games (so often find these devices don't actually work when you get there, but it was in great condition). Lovely countryside. Decent pubs a short drive away (didn't try the ones in the village so cant comment on those - but the Indian takeaway we had the night before we left was decent!). Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Katie in person whilst we were there, but she was just at the end of the phone and was very accommodating.
- simon (10/5): Lovey spot and super place - Lovely spot and great space for family
- Bullard (10/5): Quiet, comfortable and spacious. - It was everything you could wish for in a getaway: secluded, countryside walks from the doorstep, off-street parking right outside the door, modern kitchen, immaculately clean throughout, friendly host, comfortable beds, well-appointed bathrooms and a Jacuzzi to enjoy outside.
- carole (8/5): - Lovely accomodation, clean, well equipped. Hosts very accommodating. Internet poor, there for a wedding, couldn't upload photos to share while we were there. ☹️
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Claire (9/5): We enjoyed our stay as a family. - The inside of the house was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and modern. All the rooms were of good size. The outside of the house was very shabby, needs attention.
The WI-FI was really poor.
- Donna (10/5): Amazing would recommend and would use again. Thank u Katie - Clean spacious and nothing was too much trouble. Katie was friendly and accommodating A little too remote for a longer stay. Would need to drive to get to places but for 2 nights it was lovely chilled out break for my dad’s 70th bday. Quality family time
- Becky (10/5): Amazing property and owners, can highly recommend. - The property was magnificent! So unassuming from the outside, but took our breath away inside! So very clean and beautifully presented throughout. Incredibly comfortable beds, fantastic showers, and every facility we could wish for! The owners messaged on the run up to our stay, and again when we arrived to check everything was ok. Perfect balance of attentiveness. We had just got married, and we were left a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely scones and clotted cream! Which was a really welcome treat. Upon leaving the property, one of our guests had a car problem, and the owners went above and beyond to help us out. I honestly couldn’t recommend this properly enough, it was fantastic and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be booking here again :) There is nothing we didn’t like!
- Francesca (10/5): Family break to Devon - Northleigh was beautiful and just perfect for our holiday, a bit of luxury for our family break, and a hot tub to relax in after a long journey. A lovely welcome cream tea too on arrival, plus great communication throughout from the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything plus more that we needed, the beds are very comfy and all the rooms very spacious and with there being 8 of us the extra space was very welcome.
- TOMAS (10/5): -
- Soheila (10/5): Beautiful spacious house in north Devon - The property is renovated to a high standard and tasteful furniture. The owner is so kind and helpful in every aspect . There is everything you need , you just take yourself 😂
- Jodi (10/5): -
- Lyndsey (10/5): Beautiful property with everything you need. - Everything you could think to need in a self-catering property with that little bit extra special too. Lots of flies but that’s the countryside in summer.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (10/5): Brilliant - Brilliant Brilliant
- Lorna (8/5): Would recommend. Thank you Katie and Emma. - Clean, spacious, felt welcome.
Very helpful and great communication.
Lovely touch leaving us a cream tea on arrival.
Hot tub spotless and perfect temperature on arrival. Although lovely and modern, hob and oven not easy to use. We used the instructions that were kindly left out.
Great directions but both cars passed the property as sign could not be seen from the direction we were travelling from.
Wood provided for the fire pit would have been lovely. We assumed wrong, so maybe that needs to be communicated before hand.
- Rafal (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious, big rooms and big jacuzzi which can fit up to six people.
- Khurm (10/5): We will be booking again! - What a lovely home. You need to book this! Decoration on point. Comfy furniture and very attentive host. Nothing!
