Traumhafte Lage, toller Gastgeber, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Brot, Marmeladen, Obst, frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Süßes hat auch nicht gefehlt... es gab u.a. Crêpes vom François - ein sehr charmanter, kenntnisreicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber!!! ---

• Cheryl (10/5): Staying at Casalento is like being in a dream - it is perfect! - We loved EVERYTHING about Casalento. If we could give it a higher score, we would give it 100. We had such a nice stay. Our room was so spacious and so was the bathroom. The decorating was just perfect. Francois and Candida could not have been friendlier. Oh, and the breakfast! Served with love, even had crepes two out of the three days which was such a treat. The property was simply beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. Once we left, I looked to see if they had other dates available in case we could switch our other stays around and stay longer, but no such luck. Oh yes, we also loved the 4 cats! Not a thing, it was perfect and so were the hosts.
• Patsy (10/5): Perfecte oase van rust bij de beste gastheer ooit! - Moeilijk te beantwoorden want we vonden alles perfect! We kozen voor charme en kleinschaligheid en dat kregen we. Je komt aan in een oase van rust. Francois geeft je meteen het gevoel dat je thuiskomt en doet alles om te helpen zonder zichzelf daarbij op te D ringen. Hij is de vriendelijkheid zelve en verwent zijn gasten á volonté! Alles is er heel stijlvol ingericht. We genoten van het zalige ontbijt in het zonnetje met zicht op de tuin met zwembad en Trulli. De B&B ligt perfect : in het noorden is bvb Matera te bereiken en in het zuiden Lecce. Ook zit je middenin de vele witte dorpjes en sta je op een half uurtje aan de kust. Wat kan je nog meer wensen? Het deed me verdriet dit plekje en deze warme mensen te moeten verlaten en wil zeker ooit terug. Niets. Alles was oké. In het begin hadden we een beetje schrik omdat er geen avondeten wordt aangeboden, maar er zijn zoveel leuke dorpjes in de buurt, dat het zonde zou zijn daar niet te gaan eten :-)
• Yanisse (10/5): Génialissime - Le site est magnifique et les chambres aussi, le petit-déjeuner maison (notamment les confitures), la gentillesse des propriétaires, le jardin et ses multiples spots à apéro… très bien situé, dans la nature et à proximité de petits villages où il fait bon manger et se promener (en suivant les recommandations de François, impossible de se tromper!)

• Émilie (10/5): La merveille dans la vallée d'Itria - Le logement est une pépite ! Niché au milieu des oliviers, on a l'impression d'être seuls au monde et en même temps on est proche des villes ! Notre hôte était au petit soin, nous préparant un petit déjeuner maison tous les matins, il nous a donné pleins de conseils pour les visites, pleins de petits coins super sympa à voir! La région est magnifique ! Une chose est sûre nous reviendrons !

Francois gaf ons allerlei tips over bezienswaardigheden, restaurants enz. Hij stuurde hierover via whatsapp allerlei links door. Zij boekten zelfs restaurants voor ons. Het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid met zelfgebakken brood en taart , vers geperst sinaasappelsap, fruit enz. De omgeving is mooi en heel rustig, tussen olijfbomen. Het terras en het zwembad zijn erg verzorgd en smaakvol ingericht. Niets

Il loro Casalento, immerso tra gli ulivi è un luogo dove si respira autenticità, cura e armonia. L’accoglienza di François e Candida è stata impeccabile, caratterizzata da una gentilezza sincera e mai invadente. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti a casa, accompagnati con discrezione da chi conosce profondamente il territorio e lo ama. I loro consigli si sono rivelati preziosi per scoprire la Puglia, al di là delle mete più turistiche. Le camere sono arredate con gusto e semplicità, in perfetta sintonia con l’ambiente circostante. Ogni mattina verrete deliziati da una colazione prepara da François ricca di sapori locali: pane fresco, marmellate fatte in casa, frutta del giardino, formaggi. Il Casalento è l’ideale per chi cerca pace, bellezza e un contatto autentico con la natura e con la cultura pugliese.

• biondi (9/5): Un soggiorno nella stupenda Valle d'Itria - La struttura, l'accoglienza, la disponibilità, il servizio colazione, i consigli ricevuti da François e Candida sulle spiagge da visitare nonché le città del circondario da vedere i suggerimenti su dove è meglio parcheggiare o su dove mangiare, insomma un luogo ideale e strategico per trascorrere una vacanza in valle d'Itria.

• Mårten (10/5): - Casalento is gently restored, with a thought for details. Not only did we eat, relax and sleep well. François and Candida are super friendly. They gave us plenty of tips and trix so we could fine tune our plans for each day and get more out of our excursions in the area.

• Jennifer (10/5): The most pleasant and peaceful country stay - This newly renovated country house is the most serene and lovely place. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, look no further. The two rooms are gracious with a minimal elegance and amazingly comfortable beds and pillows. The thick stone walls kept the room very cool and I had the deepest sleep. The warm and lovely young couple are Italian and French and speak many languages after years of working in international aid. They serve homemade bread, jams, and cakes with fresh seasonal fruit from the neighbor and a selection of cheese and cured meats each morning. It’s in a great location on a ridge with sunset views and easy access to the main road midway between Ceglie and Martina Franca, which are a quick 8 minutes away. If you are a biker the bike path is accessible from the house and if you are looking for a walk, checkout the lovely pine forest park nearby. This may become my new landing place whenever I visit the area.
• Alicja (10/5): Casalento is a perfect place to stay! - Casalento is a perfect place for rest! Beautiful area around the house, very calm, near to the all charming cities and amazing beaches. Owner François is very helpful, gave us tips for our stay, where to go to explore beautiful places. He prepared delicious breakfast with homemade bread and jams. Everyday fresh fruit and home baked goods. The apartment is comfortable and our stay was really successful! I recommend this place♥️ see you in Puglia!

The trullo is spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the care and attention to detail that hosts have put into making it a welcoming retreat. Mosquito nets, blackout curtains, good bed linen & a comfortable mattress made our stay carefree. A delicious homemade breakfast, featuring freshly picked fruits from the garden – a delightful start to each day. The warmth and hospitality of our hosts made us feel like cherished guests, and by the end of our stay, it truly felt like we were part of their family :-) If you want a peaceful, authentic experience in a stunning setting, I highly recommend staying at this wonderful trullo. We can't wait to return next summer! nothing to say, everything was great
