Guest Reviews
- Greg (1/5): Wholly avoidable disaster. - Disaster The owner's ex-wife had camped in the property and was sat in the lounge as we tried to get the keys out of the lock box. The owner knew this was going to happen but failed to tell us ahead of time and allowed the whole failure to play out. Booking.com offered a refund and ยฃ70 credit to my wallet. 48hrs later and still no sign of either. What a mess you've made of my short break guys. Thanks!
- Katherine (10/5): Great catch up with friends in beautiful location in a stunning house - Location excellent in a quiet lane but very close to the centre and plenty of parking nearby.
The accommodation is beautifully decorated and although compact had everything we needed for our stay.
There were food items on arrival such as milk, tea, coffee and porridge for breakfast. Even had a washing machine.
The owners were very responsive with all communication which included very helpful directions and parking suggestions. Nothing to dislike

- Catherine (10/5): The cutest of cottages - you wonโt be disappointed - What a gorgeous little cottage! A stones throw from the shops , cafes and bars. The owners are very thoughtful on what travellers may need - straighteners for example! The cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated and very comfortable! We would definitely return next time we go to Moffat! The communication with the owners was great and they felt like old friends ( even tho we never met them) we knew if anything went wrong they were close by and nothing did! We regularly go away and prefer cottages and suchlike as it gives us freedom, comfort and value for money. This certainly did that- an absolute gem of a place! Thank you to the owners ! ( p.s.loved the bathroom tiles and the show was fab! )
- Doreen (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing and perfect. - Quaint and pretty. Lovely wee cottage and perfect for us. Location absolutely ideal. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Owners very accommodating and helpful. Weather was amazing so that was a bonus. Would not hesitate to stay here again and happily recommend to other people. We had such a lovely few days here. Nothing to dislike

- Judy (10/5): Very helpful owner. Clean and comfortable - Great location and very clean and comfortable All good
- Karen (10/5): Absolutely excellent with lovely owners - would recommend and stay again! - Small, compact and beautifully decorated and thought out with regard to customers possible needs and additional little touches provided in the kitchen. Because it is very small with little storage for guests small items, there needs to be far less knick-knacks on the few available surfaces for guests to lay their own items i.e. mobile phone, book, make-up bag, hair brushes etc - even a cup of tea - placemats would be more useful and practical.
- Tom (10/5): hosts provided beyond expectations amazing Thankypu - absolutely loved our stay nice clean place loved how it was decorated so close to all amenities amazing
- Nigel (10/5): Warm, safe & relaxing. - The location was really nice. Easy to get around. The local restaurants and pubs were very nice & great value. The cottage was small, cute & well kept. I will use again. You will not be disappointed at all. Norman who is the host was very helpful. There is nothing not to like.
- Audrey (8/5): Comfortable - Very nice, comfortable and clean, nice and cosy. No parking at property, when carrying luggage, also could do with supplying small complementary butter, for night-time tea and toast. And maybe some hand wash or small complementary soap, there was some large bottles, but not to our liking.
