Guest Reviews
- Claudia (9/5): Beautifully restored property - The gentleman who greeted me and checked me in. He spoke excellent English.

- Vedika (10/5): Fabulous - It is such a beautiful property. Worth visiting. All rooms are different. I had a big room with a huge bathroom which overlooked the courtyard. The entry courtyard is lovely with all the painting sand birds chirping I loved everything but it is a bit difficult for people with mobility issues like an old haveli would be
- wayne (10/5): Very peaceful, comfortable and a great place to unwind for a few days - Amazing architecture, great food and excellent staff
- Isabelle (8/5): - Les chambres spacieuses, propres et confortables
- Sanjay (6/5): -

- Sohini (10/5): - Very comfortable stay even though this is a 150 year old property. The Haveli has been restored well and retrofitted to modern day needs.
- Diane (10/5): Beautifully restored Haveli with friendly and informative staff - Beautifully restored Haveli by the owners. The staff were attentive and informative and we are particularly grateful to Simmons, the hotel manager, for explaining the history of the building and in particular the story of our suite, ‘the crazy room’ with it’s original green flowered frescos. The evening meal was lovely and we enjoyed the bangle making demonstration using gum tree from local artisan Sahil, whose family have been making bangles for 7 generations. The Haveli owners and staff are wonderful at supporting the local community, artists and artisans when so many Haveli are falling into disrepair and the area is suffering from a decline in tourism.
Thank you for a marvellous stay. Nothing

- Jacopo (10/5): Super consigliato - La struttura è in un haveli storica è veramente bellissima
- AnOtt (10/5): - Ein wunderschönes Haveli, authentisch restauriert mit vielen liebevollen Details. Das Essen war hervorragend, war jedoch für indische Verhältnisse eher teuer, aber das Geld wert.
- Mike N (9/5): Beautiful rooms in a historical haveli - Beautifully restored rooms in an old haveli. Close to Mandawa. Very friendly staff. We had a delicious dinner in the lovely courtyard and a good breakfast the next morning.

- Natalia (10/5): Bardzo polecam!

- Konina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, cleanliness especially!
- Vividh (10/5): Exceptional - The food, the staff, the calm surroundings, overall a delightful stay if you're looking for a no frills getaway. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff and their warmth. No negative to mention.
- Virginie (9/5): Superb -
- Madhusudan (10/5): Fantastic authentic feel of Rajasthan - I love the entire ambience and vibe of the property There should be TV in the rooms -:)
- Rajesh (9/5): Superb -
- Jayant (9/5): For anyone interested in history or an out of the ordinary experience - The breakfast was good. The basics were all there and served fresh. Excellent service.
- Mahim (7/5): Good - The Haveli. The food was decent. The location is good. The service quality needs improvement through training of staff. The bathrooms can be made better. Nothing much to do in the area or property other than just visiting other havelis. so need to develop some activities or resort like facility such as a spa although there is a decent swimming pool.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Karin (10/5): Lovely location. Enjoyed staving here. - Lovely location. Enjoyed staving here.

- Mujebur (10/5): A charming stay in the bygone era! - During our recent trip to the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, we had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully refurbished heritage haveli that seamlessly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The exterior of the haveli has been meticulously preserved, maintaining its traditional grandeur while the interiors have been thoughtfully modernized.
The rooms are a testament to elegant design, combining contemporary amenities with tasteful decor that respects the haveli's historical essence. Each room is a stylish retreat, offering a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment that enhances the overall experience.
One of the standout features of our stay was the opportunity to explore both the haveli itself and its surroundings. The property is rich with character, and wandering through its intricate courtyards and detailed architecture felt like stepping back in time. Additionally, the haveli serves as an excellent base for discovering the Shekhawati region. This area, known for its neglected and dilapidated heritage, is brought to life through this unique accommodation, offering guests a chance to experience its cultural and historical richness.
The food served at the haveli was delightful, featuring local flavors that complemented the regional ambiance. The service was attentive and courteous, ensuring that our needs were met with warmth and efficiency.
In summary, this refurbished heritage haveli provides a captivating and comfortable stay, offering a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. It’s an ideal choice for travellers looking to explore the Shekhawati region while enjoying the comforts of a beautifully restored historic property. Nothing!
- Gagan (7/5): 7/10 - Location is good! Staff is good. Vegetarian Rajasthani food is very good The air conditioning is not upto the mark. The quality of non veg is pretty bad
- Barry (10/5): Wonderful hotel experience - This was the first hotel of our India trip where we were greeted in perfect English. The hotel is beautifully restored and decorated, with comfortable beds and good showers. The restaurant is excellent, the pool area is well-maintained - this hotel more than meets the expectations of western travellers. We also liked the fact that the hotel had a tipping box for all staff, which avoids awkwardness when not knowing how much to tip the staff for the various services provided. Tall people have to be careful not to bang their heads! The internet didn't work in our room, but it worked fine in the lobby
- Shuchi (9/5): Superb -
- Chaeyeon (9/5): Superb - weak sound proof and little uncomfy bedding
- Intaz (10/5): A night of pampered stay in a Maharajas Haveli. - Impressive hotel. It has retained its past glory of Maharajahs Haveli with giving you modern amenities. Loved the stay here. Very helpful staff.
- Priyanka (5/5): There are better places in Mandawa.. this is too far away from any action and also not that great.. The staff is courteo - It’s a pretty haveli but in the middle of nowhere and there’s literally nothing to do around the place Very basic.. also the rooms, bed linen, bathroom towels etc weren’t upto my hygiene standards
- Rahul (6/5): Nice and quite property but away from the main attractions of Mandawa. - Breakfast was quite nice catering to Indian and International palate though not lavish. The property is pretty big though quite inside the main road passing through the village. Activities are limited to a pool table or cycling. After a marriage function last night the place was littered with glasses, sleeping mats, napkins in waiting area. The cigarette buts, dirty glasses were not removed near our room. The overhead pressure pump was noisy in room no. 406. Got the room changed but there too the bath tub was leaking all over the floor.
- Dipa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): Beauty, comfort and friendliness for a memorable stay. - This is a stunningly beautiful building , a Shekawati painted haveli, which is well run , with good food in a beautiful courtyard and a lovely swimming pool. The staff are friendly and attentive. It’s a short drive from Mandawa, full of more painted havelis. We liked everything: it was our favourite hotel in Rajasthan. One caveat- it’s not really suitable for those of limited mobility, as there are lots of steps and very high thresholds.
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Heritage haveli Dinner was not very good. I didnt feel good after lentil...
- Anutam (7/5): Good -
- Chaula (9/5): Beautiful old haveli that is restored and gives one a glimpse into how our ancestors lived in regal splendour. - The rooms are large and spacious. Food was excellent. Service and staff were very courteous and attentive. It was wonderful sitting in the garden for dinner under a clear winter sky with live fires to keep you warm. The rooms could do with a little bit more brighter light
- Eduardo (8/5): Very good - The place, the dinner, the athmosphere, thenpeople working there The noice of the water pump on top of our fantastic painted room at 6 am.
- Sanjay (9/5): A very pleasurable experience. Will recommend to friends - The approach made us a little apprehensive but what we saw and experienced was magical. Do try and work out a few more engagements/activities to keep guests occupied like a haveli tour within 10 km radius etc as a person with challenged legs, had to be really careful but i know it was a part of heritage and architecture. Road to Delhi was awful
- Manoj (10/5): Awesome experience - Everything. Right from reception to rooms, food, excursion, evening entertainment; everything is top notch. Relationship manager, Mr. Simmons helped us with our excursion trip for whole day in the region, and he also took us for a tour of Haveli showcasing its history and key points. Overall an amazing experience. We will come back for sure.
- Irene (10/5): Spectacular. Stop here if you can - Beautiful rooms and common areas
Very good dinner and very nice breakfast. Best banana bread I had in India and probably in my life
Very helpful and nice staff. Highlight to the night security guard.
The area is nice but the hotel makes worth the stop in Mandawa. Stop here if you have the chance.
Everything was 10/10 A little suggestion if it helps would be that we weren’t ready for the people that were entertaining at dinner to ask us for tips as we didn’t know there were little shows or music. They were lovely but as we didn’t expect it we felt a little bad. Mostly in an upscale hotel like this, we think the hotel could take care of this not to make the guests uncomfortable while having a nice dinner. Apart from this, everything was absolutely perfect!
- Alka (10/5): Super comfortable and amazing food - It’s got a royal feel
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Very interesting hotel. Well run and worth staying at in you are in this area. We stayed 3 nights. Very good base for seeing the Havelis and walking ŕound the village itself. Food was very good and staff were lovely and smiley. A tour by Mr Simmons of the haveli is a must. The culture show in the evenings was too superficial and repetitive if staying more than one night. The pool area could have been cleaner, but worst of all is lack of WiFi anywhere but front reception area. A simple problem to solve.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Divya (8/5): A good stay in a old style Haveli. Comfortable room and facilities. - This is a old style Haveli turned into a hotel. It is quite a large area and they have a exhibition with historical aspects as well.
It is a comfortable hotel with a good bathroom, a bar with TV, swimming pool, spa, and evening entertainment. There was a cooking demo in the evening and dining was good.
Overall a good experience. Pool was a bit cold.
- Umang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kira (10/5): Well worth the eccentric location. Highly recommended - Exceptional charm, attentive staff, beautiful room, communal spaces and pool. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Entertainment was not enjoyable (musicians).

- Davide (10/5): Amazing property with SPA - The property is amazing (the area outside is a small village but do not worry the hotel will compensate about that)
beautiful outside area with garden, pool, restaurant
we tried the SPA with a massage at the evening time: has been an amazing experience Wi.Fi to be improved for better connection
- Noorin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Clean, and very very beautiful. Awesome! The wifi signal is terrible.
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Ratedrdaksh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Armaan (10/5): A gem in Mandawa - You are taken with awe and wonder as soon as you step into the hotel. Created by the confluence of two adjacent havelis, this hotel is a treat to your senses. Extremely comfortable and spacious rooms, beautifully maintained patios, courtyards and pool, wonderful hospitality and delicious food! We had the fortune to meet the owner Mr. Atul Khanna, who gracefully gave us a knowhow of Mandawa and the rest of Shekhawati region, arranged for a guide for us and even gave complementary dessert! One should take the short tour of the haveli itself that so beautifully and soulfully recites the story of Vivaana. Must recommended for anyone who is visiting Mandawa.
- Lynda (9/5): Beautiful property with a wonderful ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Vivaana. - we loved the ambiance and decor and the original features of the property The food wasn’t as good as I hoped but that didn’t stop us enjoying our time there.
- Naghmeh (9/5): Superb - Clean, nice, original, perfect The tour of havali did not go through and show was not much special.
- Lynda (9/5): Beautiful Haveli to relax in. Amazing history and beautifully restored. - The building itself was amazing- we loved the art and overall ambiance. The food could have been better and more day tour options would be good
- Vivek (8/5): Very good -

- Lasco836876 (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent restaurant
- Priti (8/5): Very good - A very nice property. The rooms are big. The tub in the bathroom is very uncomfortable to take a bath. No shower facilities also.
- Vanessa (10/5): exceptional hotel. unmissable place. - really beautiful and located in an exceptionally beautiful village music too noisy in the hotel over dinner - due to some rowdy overexcited guests who turned up the volume! noisy wedding in the village all night!
