Guest Reviews
- Hein (9/5): BEAUTIFUL - The fact that we could see the see front from the stoep The weather did not p[ermit us to swim
- Ryan (10/5): Home away from home - It felt like home away from home.
I would rebook this place any time again
- Thavanesan (8/5): Great place for a beach holiday. - Fabulous location and very nice accommodation with plenty of space. Slightly dated but not really an issue for a beach holiday.
- Ronald (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a perfect location. - Perfect location. Loved the stagger doors that you can open on the patio. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice to have a dishwasher. Despite it being windy on the Sunday evening we were able to use the patio which is sheltered. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. General maintenance is required. The deckchairs above the swimming pool are not useable as the wood has weakened beyond repair. The outside quest room door is broken and can only be locked with keys, otherwise it blows open.
The shower door in the outside room also needs repair. It would be nice if the swimming pool pump works on a timer. We had to switch it off during the evenings as the persistent water stream interfered with one's sleep cycle.
These issues are minor put should be addressed as previous reviewers had similar complaints.
- Natasha (1/5): Never again - Good sea view Staff is extremely rude!!
Apartment is very old and need urgent TLC.
Fridge smelled like old fish and made everything in the fridge smell.
Chairs are not steady at the dining table.
Overall maintenance are required asap
Bathroom cabinets are in a terrible condition.
Shower doors don't close properly
No aircons, or additional fans for living room to use in warm conditions
Beds were uncomfortable
Braai were not properly cleaned before arrival
Chairs and couches extremely worn and uncomfortable.
Only two sun loungers for 6 people at the pool area, no other seating option available.
No please for hair drying, needed to stand in the hallway.
3rd bedroom (patio that is enclosed) is extremely small and room is crowded and very warm .
Only 2 couches in the living room, not enough for 6 people.
Checked out earlier as we couldn't stand it any more.
Worst Paternoster stay ever, worst host.
- Radcliff (8/5): -
- van der Merwe (7/5): Great views, but read the description very very carefully - The location was great. The views spectacular and easy accessibility to the beach. Close to Voorstrand restaurant
Enough cuttlery and crockery
Dstv for watching the rugby Being spammed with scam messages. I have not received any from the other bookings I made through Booking.com
It states 4 rooms but the one is a super small outside room
Bathrooms had to be shared. Not what I expected
On out departure we received a very unfriendly message about a broken French Press, while the one we bought to replace it, was already in the cupboard. Going through the trash was more important than checking the cupboards
The fridge had no water reservoir even though there is a place for it
General maintenance was not great
The outside room wooden door could not stay closed, it had to be locked to stay closed
The pool furniture is at best horrible
Lights in the outside room did not work. No power plugs near the bed

- Mary-anne (8/5): But we had a wonderful time. - Location was perfect. Across the road from the beach. The sunsets were perfect. That there was a building site next door. The noise was all day Saturday. Would have thought that the weekend would have been quiet.
- Carstens (8/5): Very good -
- Baronice (7/5): Good -

- Lynn-marie (8/5): Very good -
- Monique (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nickey (10/5): Exceptional - Best location possible! Very big and comfortable. The house inside is very well kept. We had to ask them to come and clean the pool and the lawn has not been mowed, which unfortunately, made the yard look neglected.
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional - Had everything you could need for your stay. Love the location and views. The beds were a little hard.
- Allie (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay at Moschel.
- Grove (9/5): Had a wonderful visit with family and friends - Wonderful fully equipped with everything you need and enough of everything Dishwasher did not work.
- Tracy (7/5): Great location with easy beach access. - Excellent location and easy beach access comes with constant foot traffic in front of the house. This old house has mostly been nicely updated with new furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. The fourth bedroom is not in the house but in a cottage. Some individuals walking past do make one feel a bit insecure.
- Sarmarie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Must just maybe check the lights. Because it tripped a few times if you switch it on.
- Siyamthanda (8/5): Very good -
- Hazel (7/5): Nothing major to fix - The place was lovely There was wind coming through the doors and windows. They need attention.
- Sharon (9/5): Absolutely amazing.... Jut what we needed - The location, the facilities and the comfort. Being right across from the beach was awesome for my grand children Some of the facilities were broken. It was not easy to open and close the garage doors. The pool has a leak so the water would be very low and almost blew the pool pump. Dish washer needs some TLC and lighting is bad in the kitchen
- Dawn (1/5): Very unsafe We were robbed early hours of the morning. We never want to go to Paternoster again -
- Lindt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lalie (7/5): Good -
- Nicole (10/5): Relaxed and peaceful - The location Nothing
- John (7/5): Good - Location, Wi-Fi and number of bathrooms. Inverter struggled during loadshedding. Poor lighting in kitchen.
- Hillary (4/5): The house is well situated. A good inspection of the property would prevent all the above. - N/A Light bulbs that worked ( 5 ) the pool was dirty and had not been cleaned. The rug in the lounge was hiding as much sand underneath as on the beach. All the pots & pans stank of Crayfish and during load shedding we used the frying pan to boil water for tea & cofffee. No cushions for the sun beds & the cushions on the porch were torn.
- Leonie (10/5): Moschel a gem in Paternoster - Moschel is a real gem in Paternoster... A big 4 bedroom family home with a splash pool right opposite the ocean with magnificent views. This house has everything you will need for a wonderful stay and great memories... Fireplace inside and outside, comfortable beds with luscious linen, a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing lounge space and outside areas.... At a very reasonable cost. The wifi password should be clearly displayed
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (3/5): It was very disappointing for the amount of money. - Sea facing Need a good clean and also need to be fumigated as we were invested with spiders and cockroaches. The pool was so dirty as well. We arrived the Sunday and the pool was only cleant of put on the Tuesday afternoon so we only had a dip in it the Wednesday.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, comfortable accomodation Issues with lights tripping, but it was reported to reception and they promised to have it resolved. This did not solve our problems.
- Sinovuyo (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Fricken amazing - What an amazing place. The place is awesome
- Neels (7/5): Good -
