• Soledad (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful and immaculate. - This place is fabulous. Beautiful, peaceful immaculately kept villa. We have travelled all over Mexico beaches looking for a place that at minimum met its internet description; Playanet is the place to stay at. No detail left to chance. The owner reached out immediately immediately after our check in to ensure that all was well, and let me know that she would answer any questions and address any concerns. We will be back.

• Ricardo (10/5): Si tienes la oportunidad de ir no la desaproveches. - Excelente relación calidad-precio. El alojamiento es un hotel boutique bien ubicado con acceso directo al mar. Las habitaciones son cómodas, cuentan con Wifi, aire acondicionado, acabados de lujo, platos, vasos, cubiertos, un frigobar, cafetera y hornito. Las áreas comunes son adecuadas para disfrutar la playa con privacidad y tranquilidad, el jardín es precioso y se siente que cada detalle fue cuidado a la perfección. La propietaria es sumamente amable y cordial, verdaderamente se preocupa porque durante tu estancia te sientas cómodo y puedas disfrutar tus vacaciones. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. La habitación de abajo es suficiente para alojar a una pareja, aunque un poco pequeña para ser honesto, sería conveniente agregar más fotografías de esta habitación. La playa es relativamente concurrida en temporada alta, y a veces puede hacer mucho viento.

• Solunaash (10/5): An Unexpected Oasis in Chelem - The apartment was perfect for our needs. We loved all the extras that came with the place like Febreeze, quality toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, candles, lots of towels, and comfy bedding. The grounds and pool area are beautifully designed and taken care of daily. Plus, there are beach chairs available to use. But most importantly the guest service that Muriel provides is second to none. She goes above and beyond to ensure that you are happy and comfortable during your stay. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations about things to do or where to eat. The location is great as well. We will be back! Nothing :)

• Hebert (10/5): - Tuvimos una estancia realmente muy placentera. Desde el momento en que llegamos, me encantó lo bonito que es y su ubicación a la orilla de la playa, lo cual hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. Además, tiene detalles que marcan la diferencia, el frigobar es muy práctico, el dispensador de agua fría y caliente es un gran plus, y los utensilios de cocina resultan súper útiles, especialmente si decides llevar comida al cuarto. Todo está pensado para que te sientas cómodo y como en casa. Otro punto que me gustó mucho fue su bonita piscina, con camastros a la orilla donde puedes relajarte tranquilamente, así como su comedor al aire libre, ideal para disfrutar de los alimentos en un ambiente agradable. Sin duda, es un lugar al que volvería y que recomiendo para quienes buscan comodidad, buena ubicación y pequeños detalles que hacen la estancia mucho más agradable.

• Caroline (10/5): Enjoyable stay by the ocean. - Clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. Location was pretty good with the option to sit by the ocean or by the pool. Host was very helpful and communicative. Muriel set up our ride back to Merida and the cost was the same as using a taxi in town. Having a BBQ to use for cooking would be nice to have.

• Julia (10/5): - Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in dieser Unterkunft in Mexiko verbracht und können sie absolut weiterempfehlen! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht – inklusive Wäschetrockner, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wirklich praktisch war. Ebenso wurde uns ein Wasserspender zur Verfügung gestellt, war er leer wurde er sofort ausgetauscht. Der Pool war super gepflegt und das Meer traumhaft schön – besonders toll: Wir hatten den Strand ganz für uns allein! Ein echtes Highlight. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Muriel, die Eigentümerin – sie war herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Sie hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben und bei Fragen oder Anliegen sofort reagiert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The outdoor space was tranquil and felt like an oasis. The ocean was steps away and there was a wonderful saline pool. I will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend. Everything was great!

Thank you for creating such a Feng Shui worthy vibe! If I had to find something, perhaps having more than just plastic dishes as we ate there often. La anfitriona estuvo en contacto y brindo un buen servicio. Seria buena opción que hubiera un par de bicicletas en el alojamiento para movilidad dentro del pueblo. El pueblo de Chelem no es bonito, hay muchas zonas descuidadas y mucha basura; pareciera un lugar inseguro, yo no tuve problemas al caminar por sus calles. Es difícil conseguir un Uber para salir de Chelem.

We thoroughly enjoyed both the beach and the pool — having the option to relax by the ocean or take a dip in the pool was perfect. It’s a great place to unwind from the stress of everyday life. The area is very quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Muriel, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. She made sure we had everything we needed and was always available for anything that came up, which made us feel truly welcome and cared for.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property. The garden and pool are absolutely stunning, wonderfully maintained, and the ideal spot to relax with a drink and read a book. The direct beach access is incredible. This spot is so serene—ideal for morning walks or just soaking up the sun. Our hosts were beyond amazing! They were incredibly helpful and responsive, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From providing local recommendations to making sure we had all the essentials, we had a perfectly relaxing vacation. I couldn’t recommend this place more! We’ll definitely be back! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

It’s right on the beach, it’s safe and minutes on foot from Chelem centro. Fair warning, use the directions provided on Booking, Google maps is a bit out of whack for the area.

The casita is lovely with 2 bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen, living area and balcony. The balcony has a fabulous view of the both the pool w/ beautifully landscaped yard and the sea, as well. The casita is well-appointed with very tasteful furnishings and the four of us (two adult couples) very much enjoyed our stay. We spent one afternoon lounging on the beach in front of the villa and the next day by the gorgeous pool. We all highly recommend Playanet and would absolutely look forward to staying again!

The pool is nice. The entire experience was perfect. Would strongly recommend yjis place. Chelem is safe and a wonderful place. It's not the busy hustle of other places.
