Guest Reviews
- Nathan (1/5): -
- Pedro (7/5): - . .
- Maria (7/5): -
- Boris (6/5): Una buena opción si no tienes exigencias.

- Jahnabi (8/5): Decent stay - I liked the location and the convenience. Plus the ease of checking in. The room was nice but as it doesn't have air conditioning, during our stay, which was during the peak heat wave, it used to get very warm and humid in the room.
- Maria Cecilia (8/5): Buen lugar, sencillo , con lo justo y necesario - Propiedad limpia,, bien ubicada No hay aire acondicionado, solo ventilador,se sale el agua de la ducha, y un poco de olor a cloaca
- Ramon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mihai (6/5): Pleasant - Well located, well explained how to get at and in. Very basic, somewhat aimed to be very budget then improved a bit for better rates, but still it has a bare minimum of investment.
- Robert (3/5): Poor - located in the city centre. For 120 euros per night one could at lest expect that the bathroom should be equipped with a hair-drying fan that all kind of standard hotel rooms use to have.
- Amit (3/5): Avoid - Location Washroom so small, person cannot even sit.
No exhaust in washroom, shower.
- Sine (1/5): Stay away if you have kids - Literally nothing It was the worst experienced that we had in a room. The apartment is on 4th floor w a broken lift. So you have to deal with a nasty&very bad smelly apartment stairs. The first couple of levels are occupied by cheap hostels. Even though the 4th level was okish once you enter the room, you will find basically nothing than the beds. Toilet door was broken(unable to close) and it was right next to the bed- you imagine how would it be??! My husband could not fit in it, so he used the public one in the hole. No cleaning for 3 night stay. No hair dryer in the room!! And it was hell of expensive for such a room. We spent all day and nights out but the neighborhood was also very scary at nights.
- G (6/5): Pleasant - The shower spills a lot of water on the whole floor of the bathroom.
- Sheridan (9/5): Simple and satisfactory in a great location - The location is great, not far from transportation, places to visit, restaurants, etc, but not a touristy area itself; it was more ‘real’ 😀 It is a little bare, but not a huge issue.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Klodi (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Mark (7/5): A good, economic option for one night. - The location was ideal for our visit and the price was excellent. The owner was very helpful and entry/exit to the property was very easy. It is a very basic room but you have to remember that this is Madrid and you could easily pay double or triple for not much more. It is a room in a flat in a block so we suffered a bit of noise from other residents. We needed a duvet as it was cold at night and there was only one pillow each.
- Elizabeth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Omar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Αλέξανδρος (6/5): Pleasant -
- Roberto (5/5): Cheap and nasty. Did not enjoy my stay or have a good sleep. building stinks and looks dodgy. - It was fairly easy to check-in and get into the room, but that was about it. the rooms are tiny, you can barely move, the building is very smelly, noisy and just looks dodgy.
the bed was very uncomfortable and I barely slept.
Luckily I only needed it for 1 night.
- Joanne (3/5): Poor - Room was spacious Tiniest bathroom with a door that scraped on floor and wouldn't close, right next to bed. No privacy. Door needs to be changed to fit and close properly. No access code when arrived. A lot of emails sent waiting to get access code. Didn't receive it until check- in time - 3 pm. Difficulty finding location of luggage lockers even though only half a block away. Not indicated - inside a convenience store. Back room used to store.
- Jorge (8/5): Very good place, extremely welll located - Location, is close to palacio real, principe pío station and plaza España, so there are many things to do around The bath is inside the room but not properly separated just through a glass, that is not comfortable if you are with more people in your room
- Martina (2/5): Bad value for the money - Locación no es mala Horrible value for the money. You can find an airbnb for the same money. The pictures were falsely representative of the size of the room. I didn't have space to move or have my suitcase. I do NOT recommend. Bad value for the money.
- Robertson (9/5): Clean, basic and cheap! - Having arrived at Madrid airport and on our way to Salamanca, we only stayed here for one night. It was ideal for our needs and we knew exactly what sort of accommodation we had booked. (i.e. hostel, basic). It was easy to use the key codes and to access our room. There were cooking facilities, a fridge and we had a private bathroom. We needed to be near Principe Pio for a train the following day and that station is a short walk away...downhill. It was really hot in the apartment and at the height of summer, the ceiling fan didn't manage to cool the bedroom sufficiently. However, for the reasonable price we paid we weren't expecting anything more than what we got.
- Ines (6/5): Pleasant -
- Blake (10/5): Would definitely recommend this for travellers - The location was superb. About a 5 minute walk to the Palace with a cafe & convenience store on the same street. Multiple lunch & dinner locations were scattered all around the place. The hosts were exceptional, they ensured all information was clearly available. Check In & Out was as smooth as it could possible be.
- Sharon (6/5): Pleasant - The guest house is located near the Plaza de España, Royal Palace of Madrid and Temple of Debod. Access to the room is made simple by giving a code. The bathroom and toilet are in the bedroom with (semi-)transparent walls - very uncomfortable. The toilet is very small.
- Pavlinka (6/5): Pleasant - Location! Extremely small WC, even the door in room 5 couldn,t open fully
- E (9/5): Superb -
- Amir (4/5): Disappointing - 1- Building has lift
2- Nice balacony to stand 1- No AC, only ceiling fans
2- Toilet and shower cabinet inside room
- Mehdi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cloe (10/5): Exceptional - Nice. Clean. Same as pictures. Secure. Nice staff.
- Una (6/5): Pleasant - Central location. Not expensive but basic. Clean. Small room. Toilet and shower are in the room behind frosted glass doors, so not much privacy.
Not really a hotel as such. Just a floor on an old building with about six rooms. Each floor is occupied by a different company. This was fine, just not what I expected!
Lovely cafe a couple of doors down for really good breakfast. About 25 mins walk from Mercado San Miguel. Near the metro station.
- Tali (6/5): Pleasant - Location is amazing for the price, it is definitely the equivalent of a private hostal room. As a solo female traveler I felt very secure with my stay and happy with the room.
During my last night though the room did smell like plumbing/sewer which was terrible. Not worth to stay for over two days.
- Robert (7/5): Good - I loved that it was compact, rather safe and cozy. The location was amazing. No TV in the room, making it feel bit empty.
- Alicja (10/5): A short stay in a great location for a cheap price - with tea and coffee available for guests - Location! Extremely central. Plus very close to the Principe Pio train station, where trains 1 & 10 from the airport end, and where the train to Salamanca starts.
In the corridor, there is an electric kettle + tea and instant coffee that one can make. A perfect thing for tired travellers!
Full automatic system of communication: e-mail after booking the room, e-mail with code to the doors in the day of arrival, e-mail after checking out. Small room for one person is really small, and it has an open bathroom (no doors). But I knew it before. It was fully visible in photos (that reflect the reality). Next, the info was once again repeated in the e-mail that I obtained after booking the room. So I am ok with that.
Especially, that the price for the room was really attractive as for Madrid (and the location). Besides, in the room, I spent just a night. Madrid is a perfect place where, after check-in, a man goes out and visits the town, then comes back to the room and immediately falls asleep with the earplugs, and then wakes up and goes out again.
- Nizar (9/5): Superb - Place is as clean as you expect it to be, location is great. Very friendly staff.
- Antoine (8/5): Review AngelitoMAD - I liked the location and the room. Very modern decoration and clean. The staff service was amazing and always available. The problem is that the accommodations are in a building where 2 or 3 hostels are located. So the quality of people that were going in and out of the building wasn't great, so we didn't feel extremely safe, plus they were very loud and noisy and not very clean since the staircase was always smelling bad.
- Flavia (8/5): Good place for one person - Great location, comfortable mattress, cute design, nice staff The room is great, but for one person only, it's definitely impossible to literally have privacy in the bathroom if you go with more people.
- Δαραμούσκας (9/5): I really really loved the room. The host was so so kind and always tried their best to help me for my needs. The place w - I really loved the location The toilet
- Portuondo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Didem (1/5): Bad -
- Adriana (7/5): Nice acommodation for a short stay - Location is great, you can walk to many places like Gran Vía, Palazio Real, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel and its near the metro station. It has a really nice coffee for breakfast near the building and its close to pharmacy, supermarkets, etc.
Very easy to check-in and check-out and cleaning was fine. The bedroom is really small, make it a bit unconfortable. I am really short and thin and the toilet door didnt' even closed totally. Its ok for only sleep and shower for a short stay.
- Yuri (5/5): Passable - Difficult communication to landlord(or staff). Call many times and need us to fill out forms to get the door passwords. It wastes us about an hour to enter our room.
- Nahwat (8/5): had a beautiful stay, very comfortable - very central
easy and smooth check in and out
great facilities
- Lanxuan (6/5): fine - you cant store your luggage cuz there’s no reception. Or store luggage over €1per piece in a nearby store🥲also you cant close the door when you sit on toilet cuz the room is small.Bathroom is half transparent
- Murithi (9/5): Superb - I appreciated two aspects of my stay: a) the location was ideal, being close to the train station, and b) the host was exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience.
- Milton (8/5): Very good -
- Michal (9/5): Superb - Very close to centre , gardens de sabatini
- Iryna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julia (7/5): Good -
- Eva (3/5): Never again, the smell in the room was really bad, no fresh air, windows to a shaft. - Location is good, very close to the royal palace and the Principe Pio metro stop. Three good quality towels provided. The automatic check-in and code access works well and easy. Small grocery store right on the corner. Wifi worked well. The room is tiny, there is no space to open a suitcase other than on your bed. But that one can deal with. Worse is, that there is mold around the shower and the place smelled of mold when I got there. Taking a shower, you end up spraying water on the floor how ever hard you try not to and it does not dry fast, so it gets moldy there. The windows are not into a inner yard. Both the windows are into a shaft, where the elevator goes, so it is noisy at times from that, but most importantly, the smell is awful! There are mostly kitchen and bathroom windows leading into that shaft, so you get all the bad smells from burned oil to sewage and the noise from bathrooms too. The room smells really bad and there is no escape from that, you cannot get fresh air, it is disgusting.
- Armandeb (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Great location, comfy bed, good shower and self catering facility. Clean basic apartment in the centre of Madrid. Near to the palace and many good restaurants. Small apartment, would have been nice if coffee/tea making facility in room but satisfactory in the corridor outside.
- Josef (3/5): Would be a good place if it didn’t smell so bad. - The property was located well and the rooms where well designed. The smell was terrible. It was clearly coming from downstairs but nonetheless it still ruined my stay.
- Maryna (2/5): Не рекомендую - The only plus was that it was close to another hotel, where I stayed longer during my work trip. communication by mail was also fast. Accommodation is impossible. The smell of sewage did not let me sleep. The fan (not the air conditioner) is right above the head, so it can't work much. Open windows did not help. The only time I was able to sleep was between 2 and 3 in the morning when people around me did not go to the toilet. I did not expect to have such conditions for such a price...
- Paola (10/5): Fantastic week end! - I booked this apartment for my parents to enjoy a nice week end in Madrid. They had an amazing experience with it and were really happy and satisfied. The apartment was cleaned and cozy. It was perfect for a couple and had everything they needed. The staff was always available for any question. The location was the cherry on top as it is really close to the city centre in a safe and beautiful area.
- Yannis (8/5): Very good - Location to my work area No air conditioning
- Olga (8/5): Very good -
- Lena (7/5): In Ordnung - Alles gut
Check in online
- Feruza (8/5): Very good -
- Mercy (7/5): Good - It is in the center.
- Lajos (8/5): Very good - Location was superb. The room was extremely small, especially the toilet, with a semi-transparent glass door. :)
- Julian (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (7/5): everyhing was great but shower - location, price, convenience shower
- Olatz (8/5): Very good -
- Sergio (4/5): not comfortable - location was good very crammed room, super noisy when other people are in the communal area or speaking from a room in the floor above. one of the nights I couldn’t sleep at all due to some drunken people upstairs talking and making noises all night long. toilet is soo small you can’t even close the door. shower head was broken and toilet roll holder came off as I was trying to take the paper.
- Dinushan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ionela (7/5): Good -
- Omar (3/5): Not worth your while, to say the least - Location is close to royal palace and seems appeared clean as far as bed linen and floor is concerned … the rest not so great Shower and toilet inside the room, even with window open the humidity and bad air was noticiable. Also due to bad design a portion of the wall close to shower was swollen with a dark colour due to humidity, most likely mould growing behind. So unhealthy and irresponsible with health. Then to make things worse noise insulation was bad and 5am works at neighbouring flat wake me up … yes, 5am.
- Joyce (6/5): Pleasant - cramped space, shower floods into bathroom.
- Helena (9/5): Superb - We loved the location - it's so close to the main attractions, yet the street itself isn't very noisy. There is a lovely café right next to this building. A perfect value-money ratio! Also it was very easy to access the apartment with the codes and the building was pretty quiet. The apartment wasn't ready when we arrived. Fortunately, the lovely cleaning lady was there, and we went out so she could clean it. It wasn't a big deal, but suppose you are tired from travelling and want to rest a bit before exploring the city... Another thing we didn't really like is the bad smell coming from the sewage.
- Justina (10/5): Cozy and clean space in the city! - Very helpful hosts and cute little space. Easy walking distance to everything
- Omar (10/5): amazing stay , will come back again for sure! - very easy to enter and in a very nice area
- Klaudia (7/5): In general it's fine, but for this prize could be much better - - I liked the location of the place. It's super closed to some attractions.
- There were clean towels and soap and shampoo.
- The bed was huge and quite comfortable.
- There was a small bathroom which was kind of bulit in the room with the kitchen.
- The room was bright because of the window, white walls and sunlight.
- I could leave my bagpack in the common space after the check out. - There was weird smell in the accommodation, kind of humidity in the air. I had to open the window.
- The walls were quite thin so I could hear others.
- At the pictures, there are super white and clean walls. In the reality, there aren't so clean. I would say, they are a bit destroyed and dirty.
- I expected to have a better viewpoint. I could just see some roofs of the other buildings.
- For this prize, I had expected something better.
- Donna (9/5): Lovely modern place in a great location near to the royal palace - They were very flexible with my checkout time There was some confusion in the communication
- Yuen (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Great Apartment in a Great location with Great Staff. - The apartment was very clean, the staff were in touch with me at all times making my reception flawless. I do not speak Spanish so I thought it may be challenging, however, my experience was effortless.
The Apartment is very well located within walking distance to so many major Madrid attractions.
- Km1976 (8/5): Very good - Location, value for money Space for shower, toilete
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and good location. Nothing, it was all good for the price we paid.
- Teresa (10/5): Great time there - Raquel was really nice and helpful ,everything was clean/comfortable and at the time to rest there was no noise
We even were allowed to leave our luggage out of the room instead of renting a locker
Thank you so much
- Elisa (7/5): Good - Very clean & nice furniture. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The location was also amazing! The host Raquel was extremely responsive & very helpful. I wish there was a full body length mirror in the property.
- Alena (8/5): The communication was very good, clear and Raquel was nice. I received clear instructions. - The location was very good, directly in the city center. The instruction about the self check-in was good, I received clear instructions and all went ok. Small room, clear, good for short staying. Good staying for few days, good location in the centre, clean and the communication was very clear and nice.
Small for longer staying.
- Marie (10/5): Raquel our contact person was fabulous and was able to meet all our needs. The check in process was easy to navigate - very accessible to public transportation and walkable to many of the major attractions. Great restaurants near by N/A, it met all our needs
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Was suited really close by do everything. Really quiet and calm no one bothers you Looks a bit more spacious in pictures. But overall very good
