Guest Reviews
- Christopher (5/5): - The location Four sets of stairs to apartment. No live TV even Netflix went off on the Wednesday.
- Tina (9/5): Very impressed, will visit again - Location excellent. Beautifully presented flat, clean & stylishly decorated. Equipped for our every need. Wi-Fi as suggested didn’t work. Description should have mentioned it was four flights of stairs.
- Mike (9/5): -
- jane (8/5): This a lovely stylish property with attractive views and parking - Great location with lovely views and parking was very useful Host was a little difficult to contact
- Melisa (9/5): - Lovely apartment in a fantastic location.
- Bruce (10/5): - We appreciated our very attentive host We Liked everything.
- Linda (10/5): It was lovely... - The property exceeded our expectations...Lenka the host always responded to my emails very quickly. The property was very comfortable and so close to everything. Liked it all
- Aisha (10/5): Absolutely loved my stay — cozy, clean, perfectly located, and ideal for exploring the area with my dog - This was a really special holiday for me and my dog, and this apartment was the perfect base. I’m a single woman on a dog-walking holiday, and from the moment we arrived it felt cosy, spotless, and so picturesque. The balcony views over Back Beach made it feel truly luxurious — the perfect spot to relax in the evenings.
The apartment had everything I could have needed: plenty of towels, comfy beds, a lovely shower, and a fully equipped kitchen (even though I didn’t cook, a family certainly could). Most importantly, it was so peaceful. I’m a sensitive sleeper, but there was no noise at night — not even from the seagulls — which made for such restful sleeps. Parking was right on the drive, which was brilliant and meant I didn’t have to worry about paying for car parks.
The location couldn’t have been better. Right in the town centre, you’re steps away from cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs, and the sea itself. Teignmouth is such a gem — from here I walked the coast path to Dawlish (and caught the train back), took the ferry across to Shaldon and explored Smuggler’s Tunnel that leads to a hidden beach, and visited nearby National Trust spots and Dartmoor. I also ventured to Brixham, which was stunning, but honestly Teignmouth itself has so much to offer.
My personal highlights were Brunch café (amazing food), Halulu bar on the seafront for cocktails, and the friendly atmosphere everywhere I went. Even though I was travelling alone, I never felt alone — people were so chatty and welcoming. If you don’t fancy sitting down in a restaurant, there are food huts down at Back Beach near the harbour open late into the evening serving fresh pizza, Thai food, and more. I’d grab something from there, take it onto the sand with my dog, and watch the sunset over the sea — honestly magical. The pubs all have brilliant views of the seafront too, perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. The only other small hiccup was that my check-in details didn’t come through straight away (possibly a Booking.com issue), but the host was brilliant and sorted it for me immediately when I called.
- Simon (9/5): Great Apartment close to sea with wonderful views over harbour - Beautiful apartment in ideal location in Teignmouth within a few minutes walk of the waterside. Kitchen & living area is on the top floor with great views over the bay. Free on site parking very useful.
- Paula and Michael Lehane (9/5): - Fantastic Central location, beautifully furnished flat with spectacular views of the estuary. Nothing
- Nicola (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful property with fantastic views. - The flat is beautiful. The views from the living room are stunning.
The property is just over the road from a big playground and crazy golf course. The walk into town and the beach is less than 5 minutes! Once you’re parked, you won’t need the car!
The kitchen has an oven, hob, toaster, air fryer, fridge and freezer so all you need for self catering.
The only thing we could get to work on the TV was the kids’ section of Netflix and BBC iPlayer.
Lovely stay in a lovely location.
We had our golden retriever with us and there was plenty of room for her. The bed was too soft and bouncy for us.
- Penny (10/5): Absolutely marvellous. - The host was excellent. The views were amazing. The property is in a perfect location on the seafront but very close to shops and amenities like The View restaurant, Teignmouth Pavilions, the ferry to Shaldon etc. A bottle of milk on arrival would have been nice, and a few ordinary tea bags. No shower gel. A few cobwebs and a dead spider on the artificial flowers, crumbs under the table in the front room. Otherwise it was all fabulous.

- Kirsty (7/5): The flat was clean, modern & in a fantastic . There - Excellent location! Bed was uncomfortable, Netflix wasn’t working, 9am check out.
- Andrew (10/5): Very enjoyable despite above comments. - Lovely comfortable apartment with beautiful views. Contained everything we needed. Well located for restaurants and shops. Good train services to Exmouth, Torquay, and Dawlish Warren. Bed was comfortable, but the slats creaked alarmingly and we are not heavy people! The access via 3 flights of stairs can be a problem for those of us with dodgy lungs.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Vivian (9/5): Superb - Lovely property in great location with parking
- Lizzie (8/5): We loved the apartment, it was very central and we didn’t have to use the car once. The layout and decor of the apartmen - Great location, nicely decorated, clean Communal area’s are very dirty which doesn’t give a great first impression. There was no vacuum, mop, cleaning equipment or bin bags which was difficult with two dogs and lots of beach walks
- Barthdomak (8/5): Perfect location to this apartment which is accessed by 3 flights of stairs. - Stunning property in an amazing location, everything you could wish for in a property. Amenities provided were fantastic, as was the WiFi. No complaints. No real mention of the 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment and disappointed with no ‘welcome pack or gift’ on arrival.
- Margaretann (9/5): Great relaxing break - Lovely apartment, great facilities. Excellent location, friendly host who responds promptly!
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christine (3/5): Disappointing standard of cleanliness and poor maintenance inside and out of the apartment - Central location Apartment was not cleaned or presented in a satisfactory way. I was charged £120 cleaning fee before my stay and for this I would expect a high standard! Complained straight away to host with pictures. Slow communication back. Have chased complaint up several times but had no reply.
- Susan (8/5): Lovely apartment smashing views - Wonderful Communal areas not very clean.
- Nigel (8/5): Great stay shame about pot noodle have photo should it help? - When I went to bed 1st night there was a dirty plate with empty potnoodle on it behind my bedroom door with other detritus in the plastic container. I duly cleaned up the mess but not quite what I expected
- Aleksandra (10/5): Great place to make more families memories. Thank you - strongly recommended! - Lovely apartment with stunning view - everything as described in the advert. Everything was super clean and as described. Perfect location with a walking distance to the beach and local shops. Plenty of different activities in the area. The only thing - I would consider changing mattresses - there were clean, but not very comfortable. Other than that, everything was just perfect
- Bernadette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kingsley (10/5): Comfy dwellings on the South West Coast! - The property was perfect, clean, well equipped and furnished comfortably. Wonderful views from the lounge out to Shaldon and opposite up to the moors. It was lovely to open the balcony doors and welcome the sea breeze throughout the property, especially in the hot weather. We travel regularly to Teignmouth and having to find a place short notice this time, we were very happy to stay at Beachbreeze and will definitely book to stay again. Our only small reservation about the property was the mattress was a little uncomfortable in the principal bedroom.
- J (10/5): Relaxing stay in a very cosy apartment - Excellent location, private parking, upstairs views, very clean, comfy bed … also great communication before and during our stay.
- Krzysztof (9/5): Superb - fabulous location The toilet door was difficult to close
- Rhian (10/5): Perfect weekend for New Years. - Great flat in a perfect location, even had a view of back beach from the living room which was great. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was amazing! Dog friendly too. The WiFi didn’t work but this wasn’t a huge problem for us.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Great location, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, fabulous views, every thing you need for a great stay in teignmouth. Lovely bottle of wine. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (8/5): Location great toilet door needs attention sink with shelving needs to be relocated - Fantastic location The internet was very poor
- Tony (7/5): Good - Apartment is in a central location so don't need to use your car plus apartment has its own parking location at property.very clean and great views from living room.had a lovely stay looking forward to coming back
Uni WiFi doesn't work very poor. connection is rubbish . Couldn't get coffee percolator to work don't think the pot fits machine
- Sue (9/5): Great apartment with amazing view - The apartment was in a great location with an amazing view of the estuary from the lounge windows. Very modern and clean with good facilities. 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but maybe we didn't read the details properly. Could be a problem for older people (although we are old)!
- Adrian1966 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Moira (10/5): Very pleasant , comfortable with lovey views. - It was in a good location with lovely views and great amenities within walking distance. The Wi- fi was s bit wonky but the agent sorted it out for us - by giving some money back .
- Graham (8/5): Enjoyable stay in this modern apartment close to all amenities - Close to seafront and shops. Well equipped kitchen. Dog friendly. Pleasant views from lounge. The wine and chocolates left for us were much appreciated. A lot of stairs up to the apartment and it was hard work carrying all the luggage up them.
- Joanne (9/5): Lovely apparent lovely views great location - Location was excellent apartment was lovely Wi-Fi wasn’t very good
- Rachel (8/5): Pleasant weekend in Teignmouth - Fabulous location for the town centre and beaches. Lovely view up the river with lots of boat action to watch. The weather was exceptionally hot while we were there so it was pleasant to come back to the property and open both doors to relax and cool down. The bathroom door didn’t shut let alone lock! I feel this needs to be addressed. The dishwasher seemed to have a mind of its own - we managed to get it to work once but on the last day we had to empty the whole thing and wash up by hand which was a bit annoying.
- Carl (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seabreeze - Location and apartment layout Nothing
- Sarah (8/5): Great stay, great location just would change a couple of things - The location was excellent. Checking in was easy. Beautiful place & well decorated. Kitchen was fully equipped. Welcome gift was lovely The second bedroom the bed was so uncomfortable & very small for 2 adults. Could of had a bigger & better bed if the table was taking out as wasn’t necessary as you have shelves in the hanging rail. The shelf in the bathroom is awful as you knock your head when cleaning your teeth. Smoke alarm kept going off when using the oven
- Jacqueline (10/5): Fantastic stay in a bright, clean, comfortable and well located apartment. - Had a lovely 3 night stay at Seabreeze. The apartment was clean and bright and very comfortable with great views. The private parking was really handy, we didn’t need to use our car at all throughout our stay. We were very close to the beautiful back beach which was like being in the Med on a warm sunny evening and also close to the main beach and all the shops and restaurants. A bonus was seeing all the baby seagulls on the surrounding rooftops! Would recommend Mini Heaven bakery which was nearby, fantastic patties and cakes! Nothing
- Louisa (9/5): Superb -
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional place Exceptional views - What's not to like about Seabreeze. Have just come back from a few days stay and wish we had stayed longer. The hosts were so good answering queries before and during our stay. Entering the property is easy and well documented prior to arrival. The duplex apartment is spotless, bright and modern. Clear instructions on how to use the equipment is provided along with lovely welcome gifts. Tea coffee sugar milk salt and pepper provided plus washing up liquid and soaps. Complimentary wine and chocs and they went the extra mile providing a fizzy drink for my daughter. On request by myself the hosts had also removed anything that might be scented as my daughter is asthmatic, yep there are stairs to get up to number 5 but they were manageable.
The beds were so comfy and the shower was lovely and hot.
The apartment has everything you need.
And as for the view, amazing right across the estuary with views of Shaldon and the back beach. Went to Shaldon on the ferry boat it was beautiful with a hidden tunnel leading to Ness Cove
Everything is close by only takes a few minutes walk to get to both beaches and the town. Lovely shops and pubs everyone was so welcoming. Longest walk was to the Lido and that only took us about 10 mins. Train station was an 8 min walk.
Would we go again? Definitely!! Highly recommend. There's nothing to dislike
- Jacqui (10/5): Will return to enjoy the location and apartment. - Great location, fab views and very clean and modern. There were 3 flights of stairs to the apartment so need a strong person to carry large and heavy suitcases.
- Jayne (10/5): really enjoyed the apartment and the location - exceptionally clean and tidy
nice welcome pack too!
- Alan (9/5): Excellent weekend apartment. - Great location. Decent sized apartment - bedroom apart - which was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The bedroom was slightly tight on space. No idea how the coffee machine worked, instructions please!
- Carol (9/5): Comfortable, relaxing & easy to chill in. - Nice location & not too noisy at night. Apartment was on top floor with wonderful view & lovely & light - the overall building was big & nicely kept. Could not fault the amenities within the apartment - walk in shower was amazing & kitchen had everything & also washer/dryer under the stairs. Would love to come back for another stay for longer. Bit of a slog up the stairs if you cannot manage too many but it was the top apartment. Apart from that I cannot fault it.
- Mikiekati (10/5): Superb accommodation in wonderful position. - Excellent accommodation with great views over the sea estuary. Very clean and beautifully decorated. All you would wish for to make your holiday a comfortable time.
One of the best accommodation we have have stayed in over the past 30 years.
Teignmouth was a really lovely holiday resort and was also surrounded with other beautiful places to visit. Plenty of great walks down by the estuary and through the pleasant town centre, packed with so many different kinds of shops. Abounds in food shops and restaurants, covering every taste possible.
Excellent for children too. Our legs being a bit younger to prance up the stairs a bit quicker to the apartment.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -

- Steve (10/5): Perfect. - This is an exceptionally well presented apartment in a prime location with great views. Bright, comfortable and stylish furnishings and decor add to the appeal. Nick was friendly and ready with information for our stay, a great host. We will be back, and have no hesitation in recommending Seabreeze! Can’t fault it!
- Globejo (9/5): An Enjoyable Winter Weekend ! - A very stylish, recently renovated compact apartment.
Modern 2nd floor upside-down duplex: enter at bedroom level, then upstairs to attic space kitchen/living room) with quality fittings throughout and much attention given to the interior decor.
Super dual aspect living room with great river views & sunsets.
Excellent shower and quality towels provided.
Convenient location for access of town, seafront and local excursions.
The welcome basket and the small Christmas tree were nice surprises. The bathroom hand basin is quite small (literally the size of a hand) = access a bit restricted by the overhead shelf for brushing teeth or washing face.
A teapot (for the tea-snobs among us ; - ) would be nice.
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - A fabulous stay with unbeatable views. Brand new refurbished flat and impeccably clean and well supplied. The welcome basket is evidence of the care Nick takes over his guests. We'll be back.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (8/5): Better than we had expected. - The location was slightly offputting as it is next door onto a hotel that is closed for renovations. The appartment itself was lovely with a nice view over the Teign estuary. All those stairs when we had luggage.
- Michael (10/5): Nick, the property host was very helpful and responded to our messages within minutes. The propertiy is lovely and moder - Clean, modern and has beautiful views of the coast. Central to all amenities.
- Catherine (10/5): Absolutely top notch!! - The views are amazing, location is excellent, highest standard of fittings, lovely little welcome basket. Absolutely superb.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Superb apartment in a great location. It was, bright, clean & well appointed & has views to die for! Would fully recommend & plan to use again. Nothing!
- Alexander (10/5): hit the spot. - very easy to get into, extremely conscientious management, comfy facilities. nothing!
