Guest Reviews
- Rob (10/5): Loved it, and would love to return! Thank you - Lovely property and perfectly located -
- William (9/5): Good Appartment in Fort William - A very nice apartment and well equipped. The property needs a new external door. Street entry door doesn't look good. Internal apartment door is good.
- Rosalind (10/5): - The apartment was wonderful! Very comfortable with everything you could need! Washing machine and dishwasher were great! Loved the supply of lots of good quality towels!! Woukd definitely recommend!
- cecile (10/5): Appartement parfait. - Appartement bien agencé, confortable, bien décoré, propre et bien situé. La forte odeur de
cigarette. Le matelas est bon mais le sommier est spécial.
- Mojdeh (10/5): -
- Annie (10/5): - Tout est parfait! A full-body mirror would be nice :-)
- Chris Maerz (9/5): -
- Stefan (10/5): cozy and clean flat in the heart of Fort William - Whole equipped, clean and cozy flat in the centre of Fort William. Restaurants, shops and the sea within 1 minute to go. -
- Daniela (10/5): -
- Karen (9/5): -
- Niko (8/5): Keskuskadun varrella tilava asunto. - Tilava asunto. Mainiot ruoanlaittomahdollisuudet ja pyykinpesukone. Hyvät suihkutilat. Lavuaari veti heikosti ja lampuissa hämäkinseittejä, mutta yleisesti hyvin siistiä.
- Angus (8/5): Perfect for the purpose of our trip great place to relax from a day’s activities - Location, great amenities N/A
- Rhea (8/5): Very nice apartment in centre of Fort William - Spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, good shower in central Fort William Front door is always open to the street and can’t be closed (it is wide open, shoppers walk past the stairs). Door to apartment has a very basic lock. I don’t think Fort William is a dangerous place but still it made me feel unconfortable. You have to lock from the inside otherwise the door can be opened from the outside.
- Lukas (8/5): Very good -
- Ursula (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (10/5): Loved this place!! - Very clean!! The rooms were spacious. Lots of seating. Kitchen was well stocked, frig, microwave, washer. Bed was comfortable, bathroom shower was fantastic! Location great, you could look down on High Street from living room window and look at the loch from kitchen window. Check in, check out easy No elevator
- Wilson (8/5): Al marie, holiday in Fort William - Good location, everything I needed was supplied, bed waa comfortable, lovely little flat The front door to the building could do with some care, painted and a sign on the front
- Lisanne (8/5): Very good - Lovely cosy flat, very clean. Close to amenities. Noise levels from the pub on the Friday & Saturday night were near the bedroom window which kept us awake, but other than that, was lovely!
- Joseph (10/5): Recommend to anyone. Would definitely stay again! - Location, facilities, communication, parking Virtually nothing. Could not get towel heater working in bathroom but it was great apart from that!
- Alfred (9/5): A great weekend was had other than tha access to the property being forced - Location was excellent and the standard of the Apartment was very good and a high standard The Front door to access the property isn’t secure and given that this is off the Main High Street could be a problem if you are not in the property. The door was opened by drunks whilst we slept and woke my partner which caused her some concern
- Sorrel (8/5): Perfect location and a charming little place. - Perfect location for this charming and well-stocked home away from home. Toilet seat was flimsy and kept sliding off the base, also bathroom sink didn’t drain…barely at all.
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Well situated. Could use some TLC (chipped paint, toilet seat loose, doors won’t stay open) but otherwise comfortable accomodations. Well situated, Aroma cafe next door was amazing. The parking situation could be made a bit clearer. The three words location app made no sense. I had to figure out that the parking is in permitted parking area behind the apartment which I think should be made clearer in the host’s check in instructions.
- Anne (7/5): Good location, comfortable, clean accommodation. - Great location on high street between the Whisky shop and Aroma cafe. Large apartment good heating. Easy walk from train station . Very clean. Good kitchen. They need to attend to some maintenance issues. We had to watch a utube video to work stove .
- Angelika (8/5): Very good -
- Gaspare (9/5): Nice flat - The flat is well equipped and furnished. It is in a good central position for getting about (the high street). It is also in a very quiet location. First impression wasn't very good as the doorway could do with a coat of paint and the stairs are very steep. There were no instructions for the "hob" which was difficult to use for who is not acquainted with an electric cooker. The shower is quite dangerous, taps at one end and shower head at the other end of a quite long shower.
- Jessica (9/5): Lovely and cozy home right in the city centre of Fort William - Very clean and modern. The electric hob was quite difficult to use. We had to watch a YouTube video as we couldn’t figure it out.
- Malcolm (8/5): Central location with nearby parking - well equipped - The accommodation has up to date appliances and has plenty of space. it is in a very central part of the main street but being on the first floor was generally quiet (except on Euro match evenings!) It was a rather silly idea to use the ThreeWordCode to establish where to park; it wasn't clear and we had to phone the agent on the Sunday. Far easier to state that there are 9 areas marked for permit holders only at the rear of the building next to a bus stop _ i think the owner got a bit carried away with the high tech.
We didn't get on with the induction hob - unlike everything else there was no instruction for use.
We had to phone the agent again having used the washing machine not finding the clothes airer - which was replaced on Monday. We were a little concerned that the front door to the street doesnt close never mind lock.
- David (10/5): A perfect apartment for a couple wanting to spend a few days in beatutiful Fort William. - It was clean and had everything we needed. It was very spacious. Great location on the high street. Great shower! Nothing we didn’t like. A couple of suggestions to make it even better - could do with more places to hang bath towels to dry, and instructions for operating the hob.
- Rosemary (8/5): Great location close to transport. - Location great. Apartment comfortable and well equipped. Impossible to locate property as no street numbers are visible.
Even the locals couldn’t help!
- Rupert (8/5): Very good -
- Johan (7/5): Good - Big apartment direct on High Street. High standard and well equipped. A little bit tricky to find the parking spot. Too hard madras for us.
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Great apartment, good TV & kitchen - Comfortable for me when I didn't feel like eating out. - One note* It was hard for me to set the code on the lock - The numbers were hard to see.
- May (9/5): Superb - Good location, good host, good facilities :) -
- Maryann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment was very well appointed. It had everything we needed. It is just a 1 bedroom, but the couch was fine to sleep on (female, 5' 4"). The location on the High St. could not be more central. It is steps from restaurants, shops, tourist information and a very short walk to Tesco or the train/bus stations. The only issue we had was the noise and it was enough of an issue we would probably think carefully before staying there again. Because it is right on the High St. and close to the pubs and restaurants, there was only 1 night that was not punctuated by drunks on the street carrying on loudly for 1 to 2 hours between midnight and about 3 a.m.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (8/5): Ok ... it was simply functional as we were leading a group from the midlands on an annual event - Location excellent Directions to car parking bays need to be more specific ... we parked in what we thought was the 'residents only' section to come out one day and find an abusive message under the wiper blade! Parking in a different bay in the same block seemed to be ok.
- Wilson (10/5): Superb - Everything about the self sufficient apartment was fantastic. Extremely clean and quiet inside even at weekends. I will hopefully be able to book again on the dates I'm looking for.***** There was one thing I didn't like.
- Raluca (10/5): Cozy and comfortable - The apartment was well equipped and conveniently located in the city center.
Acces was easy and my inquiries were answered in a timely manner.
I am very satisfied with my stay here and I would totally recommend it to couples and families.
- James (8/5): Very good - Good location Finding the place a number on door would be great
- Sally (8/5): Central Location..vert will equipped - Very well appointed. Everything you could wish for. Excellent location. No instructions to use TV and Hob. Both defeated us. The instructions to find the place weren't exactly spot on but we found it fairly quickly. Steep stairs up to the flat ..so not the best if you have mobility issues.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brigitte (10/5): Exceptional - Loved it. Absolutely cosy. Location central, ideal for hiking, rail station very near. As located in the High Street with a lot of pubs you hear people in the evening/night. Was not a problem for me, but may be for others.
- Janet (8/5): Pleasant but noisy apartment. - Very spacious and well equipped. nice comfortable bed. nicely decorated and presented. Excellent shower. Kitchen was very well equipped including g washing machine although we didn’t use it. Soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper supplied. Location is in some ways excellent being in town and convenient but this also makes it very noisy. There were people outside shouting at 3am on Saturday night. No or insufficient double glazing to deaden the sound. The entrance is off putting. The front door is simply left open and there is no carpet and exposed gripper rods on the steep stairs. I realise it may be work in progress. The check in is self service so we didn’t see any staff other than a brief word with the cleaner. The parking at the back was usually full so we parked further round next to some dubious looking houses.
- Ann (8/5): First class accommodation - clean comfortable and very well equipped Nylon type sheets
