Guest Reviews
- McBash (5/5): Basic / Cheap / okay for 1 night / Motorbike parking okay - Facilities are very basic. Motorbike Parking was on the street, but it was okay, We chained the bikes to the light pole. We had the end room above the bar/restaurant, it was a bit noisy, but the lake view was really nice. Supermarket is next door, but with strange opening times and cash only if spending less than 10 euros. No shower pressure, had to use the common shower.
Not noise proofing
Noisy till late, had to use ear plugs.
- McBash (10/5): Excellent place and facilities, great for motorbike parking - This place doesn't look much from outside, but we were really surprised by the facilities. Great night sleep, secure motorbike parking, free tea coffee facilities... .even there are small cakes in the room for us. quality toiletries and towels. well impressed.
- Ian (10/5): - Really accommodating after a date change for our stay. Looked after our bikes
- Cameron (7/5): Good value for money. Beautiful veiws - Riano is nice mainly due to the beautiful views! We wouldn't stay for more than one night as there's not too much to do and the bars/restaurants weren't great. One of the nicest restaurants we've ever been to is a short 10 minute drive from town, and it's called Venta de Eslonza.
The apartment was good value for money, with a small balcony. The beds were comfortable, although we prefer a double bed. The floors could do with a better clean as they left our feet black when barefoot. The bathroom bin had not been emptied, with the last guest waste left in there. The bathroom itself definitely needed work, with missing tiles, loose shower head and broken bidet. Would have been a perfect stay if not for these issues. I can't complain too much for the price.

- Maelle (3/5): À éviter - Rien Communication compliquée avec personnel froid. Il n'y avait personne sur place. Nous devions avoir une chambre triple avec sdb privée, et nous avons eu une sdb partagée qui ne fermait pas à clé ! Lits peu confortables. Pratique en dépannage sinon à éviter.
- David (9/5): Great value in a lovely little town. Would defo stay here again. - The price and location. No breakfast in the morning but that was because of the fires affecting bread delivery.

- Alicia (10/5): Beautiful location. Very helpful staff. - The location is perfect. Riaño is a stunning place. The man running the place was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good.
Perfecta posición en un enclave precioso como es Riaño. El encargado del hostal fue súper amable y nos ayudó mucho. Desayuno muy bueno.
- Carmen (9/5): Superb -
- Hamilton (1/5): Non existent - The fact it was locked up and I had to pay for a different hotel
- Theodore (9/5): Superb - Amazing staff and attention to detail.
- Wilf (9/5): Superb - Very pleasant staff. Nothing I didn't like
- Anthony (7/5): Good - In a village of few choices the accommodation served it's purpose of a bed for the night while walking the Camino Vadiniense. Just a soulless room check in was via a phone call so I didn't actually see anyone
- Paul (8/5): Great place to pass my 70th birthday! - Breakfast was a little funky - capsules of coffee for the coffee maker, with some cake. These were left in a small room where we were able to make our own breakfast Nothing to dislike
- Andrew (7/5): Good, but with some reservations... - The location is sublime. The room was comfortable. The price was reasonable. The breakfast croissants (when available) were excellent. Communication with the owner was difficult by any medium other than telephone. The restaurant (and thus breakfast) was not reliably available. The front door key/lock was worn out and extremely awkward to use.
- Susan (5/5): Suitable for a bed for the night bar and restaurant closed, didn’t open for breakfast early as stated in the room, it wa - The location Run down, shower broken, towel rail broken front door lock broken
- Gema (6/5): Regular en general -
- Renjie (9/5): Superb - It was a nice place for a night. The room was private and quiet. Even if I was earlier than the latest checkin time, there was nobody there. I called the number to ask. It could be better if they sent me a message on booking earlier. Not all people, especially the foreign people who might not have a native phone number, could be convenient to give a phone call.
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Great location for hikes and food Beds a bit springy
- Shane (8/5): Great place. Great location. Great value. - Really nice rooms, breakfast was nice. Local restaurants and pubs were great too. Great value for money. Quiet. Comfortable beds hot shower. Really nice.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (9/5): Superb - The warm welcome and comfortable room. The location was good. Good value for money.
