• Jeremy (9/5): Great location, convenient and pretty location. - The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us the ability to make breakfast each morning. The host was very responsive each time we messaged her.

• Vikram Chand (10/5): Great apartment at a wonderful location. Recommended. - The apartment is easy to reach via car and at the ground floor, meaning no heavy luggage lifting required. The location is amazing, the lake is right in front and the apartment is just at the foot of the hills. The apartment is spacious and with all the amenities. The host is very friendly and they came to check personally when we complained about something. The bathroom is a bit on the smaller side. Not a problem for solo travelers or couples but could be a bit tight if you have a toddler.
• Patrick (9/5): A very spacious, fully equipped apartment, closely located to many beautiful Swiss sights. - Snowflake is very spatious and fully equipped appartment ; located in the centre of the most attractive sights in Switzerland. The area is very safe and quiet and yet close to the highway towards Interlaken There was less natural ventilation in the apartment, which sometimes caused a musty smell. A simple ventilation system or an extra grille in the door would provide a good solution here.
• Enric (7/5): Bon allotjament a prop del Thunersee - Bona ubicació a prop del llac. Cadires i taula de jardí davant l'apartament. Superficie gran i molt espai. Cuina ben equipada. Comfortable i net en general. Aparcament davant la porta. Bona comunicació amb l'amfitrió. L'armari per la roba es molt petit. Hi ha poca ventilació al quarto de bany. Falten endolls a les tauletes de nit, per carregar el mobil. Les tauletes de nit son molt petites. Aniria bé un microones.
• Ricardo (3/5): - La ubicación no era mala. Por eso lo elegí, pero no tenía una manera fácil de llegar al lago ya que tienes que pasar las vias del tren que justo están delante del apartamento. El resto un desastre. Este apartamento me parece una total tomadura de pelo. Es un garaje reconvertido a apartamento. Olia mal por la humedad, el techo estaba lleno de manchas, el baño y el fregadero no tragaban bien el agua. No tiene ningún sentido el precio y el valor ofrecido. Las fotos son totalmente engañosas porque parece que sea un apartamento del edificio que presentan en las fotos.
• Adrian (3/5): - Diese Wohnung hat ein Lüftungsproblem und man riecht es schon wenn man das erste Mal in die Wohnung kommt. Es gibt nur ein kleines Fenster in der Küche das zum Lüften verwendet werden kann und dieses Fenster führt auch nur zu einem Lichtschacht. Der Luftentfeuchter der angeblich in der Wohnung vorhanden ist, war unauffindbar. Auch der TV-Empfang lässt zu wünschen übrig. An zwei von drei Abenden hatten wir keinen Empfang. Im Badezimmer gibt es keinen Abluftventilator und auch kein Fenster zum Lüften.

• Anatolii (10/5): - Дуже зручне розташування з красивим видом, затишна атмосфера, тиша та комфорт. Апартаменти чисті, добре обладнані всім необхідним для проживання. Окремо дякуємо за детальні інструкції щодо заселення — все було дуже зручно й зрозуміло. Від апартаментів до інтенлакену 10 хвилин на автобусі, рекомендуємо залишити машину та поїхати громадським транспортом и просто насолодитися краєвидом. Щиро рекомендуємо це місце для відпочинку в Швейцарії!

• Indranath (8/5): A lovely self-catered apartment hideaway for a couple preferring seclusion away from the crowd of Interlaken! - Even though the location is a bit outside Interlaken, it’s really pleasant, being on the south side of Lake Thun and close to Niesen Mountain. But then Interlaken has become way too crowded so felt nice to be in a lovely quiet village. Nice large room with a fully-appointed kitchen. And the landlady was super nice. We desperately needed laundry and she took most of it to her house upstairs to wash them in her large washing machine. Much appreciated! The ad says it has lake view but from the ground floor apartment-style room there was no lake view. Maybe from upstairs from the landlady’s balcony. And the washing machine was too tiny to be of much use, except for washing our underwear. Of course the kind landlady made up for it. Also it felt a bit damp, partly due to the wet weather during our stay. The clothes spread out on the drying horses still felt damp even 2 days after washing. Would help if there was a machine dryer and a larger washing machine.
• Abdullah (10/5): Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! - I had a fantastic stay at this property! The place is fully furnished and well-equipped with everything you need — oven, fridge, washing machine, iron, vacuum, and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking essentials, which made preparing meals super easy and convenient. The location was perfect, close to all major amenities and very convenient. The area felt safe and well-connected. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!
• Billwadal (1/5): Bad - I will not recommend the location unless one has a vehicle. It is quite far from Interlaken. There's no train connectivity and one has to take the bus either to Interlaken or to Spiez the nearest rail station. The bus operates on an hourly basis while the bus stop is around a 5 mins walk from the apartment. You miss a bus and get stranded for 1 hour. I got a little mislead by the description of the property. The apartment rates was quite on the steeper side. It is basically an outhouse adjacent to the covered garage area of a building. There's no terrace area but upon physical query, the open area next to the entrance was described as the terrace. One can get a glimpse of the lake though not uninterrupted from the open area. There's only one living area which has a sofa and a bed. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable (even thinner than a blanket) and made noise as if it had plastic inside. There's no natural sunlight or ventilation once inside the room. I asked the host if the room has air-conditioning to which she responded by saying this is not India and they have heaters not AC in Switzerland (it was pretty hot and humid during the daytime though). The kitchen area did not have any microwave but had a four burner electric hob installed. The host was very touchy about it and insisted that the procedure for operating it should be learnt first as many fail to operate such technology. I refuted such apprehension by saying that a person who is shelling out around 300 CHF per night for the accommodation is presumed to be surely aware about operating such basic stuff. The bathroom had no exhaust and was so small that I could barely fit inside. Having said that, I'd also say that maybe it was my failure to appreciate holistically the description of the property as was given in booking.com. I repeat that the property might suit people with self driven vehicles or people of medium height or structure but not travelers without self driven vehicles and of large structure (I'm 6'2 and pretty much on the heavier side).

• Aditya (9/5): Overall an excellent stay and I would highly recommend it. I would personally visit again. - The view was as promised at a great location. The apartment is really beautiful and the amenities are top notch. Everything was clean and organized. All the basic amenities were already provided on top of what we is mentioned in the summary. Host came to check on us personally as we were trying to reach her during check-in. She gave us nice recommendations and is very well informed about the location and is an excellent guide. The key box was hidden so we could not find it and had to wait 45 mins in rain as we could not contact the host. The arrival time was already mentioned in the request. The host did mention the location of the key box but it was just an oversight on our side. Still it would have been great if we could have been able to contact someone sooner. The host is a really kind person and it was just wrong timing as she was in another appointment. Rest of the things were better than expected for the appartment.
• Yimeng (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very clean and modern with all the facilities, Tanja was very kind and made things as convenient as possible for us. The bus is every one hour, you should notice the timetable, but it’s not the problem of the room.
• April (9/5): Quiet, comfortable, well appointed apartment. - A well appointed apartment that was perfect for our long holiday weekend. Quiet, safe, beautiful, lakeside village with only a short drive to both Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. We had everything we needed. Owner was a very responsive and clear communicator. Recommend!
• Lonely_places (7/5): Good - Everything was fine, there is everything you need, plus it has its own parking space. Very good communication with the Owner. There is only one room living room with kitchenette, space is quite limited, and it might be not convenient for more than 1 or travelers.

• Bhushan (9/5): Superb - Location is very peaceful and beautiful just beside the Thun lake. But the problem is there is no train connectivity we need to wait for the bus for to reach Interlake (Bus available on hourly gap).

• Fernanda (9/5): Great place to stay! - The location is excellent, with lake view (walking distance to lake Thun). The apartment is cozy, well equipped (we can cook at the apartment) and the internet was good as well. The air circulation is not great. Due to weather conditions we were able to leave the door and window opened to have fresh air. But I´d be concerned in winter time.
• Mathilde (9/5): A lovely stay, in a great appartement! - It was a really nice appartement, everything you needed was there( kitchenware) Had a nice welcome from Tanja and everything was well explained. Great, peaceful location and was also nicely decorated. I would definitely suggest this appartement to other people! The one thing we struggled with was the pillows! I would personally have liked some firmer ones. Even an option would have been nice. You can also hear quite alot above you.
• Rayayers (10/5): The Snowflake is a perfect location for the budget conscious traveler. - The location was perfect for what we needed. It is about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and we used the public transit system to get around. Its located between Spiez and Interlaken and it's only a 10-15 minute bus ride to those larger cities. This made all of our day trips easy accomplish. It's also in a small village so it's pretty quiet for the most part even though there is a main road and a train tracks close. We never noticed any excessive noise. The unit is equipped with a washer, which was a huge game charger for us. We didn't have to pack as much clothing for our week long stay. There is no dryer, but there is a hanging rack and we didn't have any issues with our clothes drying. Our host Tanja was amazingly accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. All in all, this was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend The Snowflake. It can get a bit stuffy in the apartment and the bathroom could use a fan vent for when you use the shower. There is no A/C, but that is extremely common for Switzerland. We pretty much never saw A/C at any location we visited so you just have to manage without it. From what the locals told us, it was unseasonably warm during our stay as well, but if you visit in summer just know that A/C is very rare.

• Zhibin (4/5): This is the worst and most expensive accommodation place for my whole trip in Switzerland. - It's convenient to park at the door here, and there is a small yard. The apartment is remodelled in the parking garage on the first floor, and there is only one small dark window in the room for ventilation. The bathroom is located in the dark room of the stairs of the house, and there is no vent, causing the room to be damp and smelly. The refrigerator is placed next to the bathroom. It feels that the cooling is insufficient, and the washing machine is also very small.
• Yin (10/5): Exceptional - Tanja the host was very friendly and helpful. Her place was located in a beautiful and serene location in Leissigen. We had fresh air every moment and slept so well. Nearby her place was a minimart that provided us with fresh bread every morning and other groceries. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook simple meals. Everything was so clean and new. It's such a lovely place that I would love to go back to again. Nothing negative
