Guest Reviews

- Daryl (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Ohanes. - We stayed for just one night but, enjoyed everything immensely.
On arrival, we found a locked front gate, due to they're having a dog asleep in the front garden area. This was not a problem for us, as we love animals. There is a little bell hanging to the right of the gate and ringing this caused the dog to bark and, as if by magic, the owner to appear, to unlock the gate and welcome us to the property.
The proprietor Marcos, was an exceptionally friendly and helpful gentleman, who doesn't speak much English but, hey, we're in a little Spanish village. He showed us in and conducted us on a short, welcoming tour of our accommodation which, consisted of 3 rooms on the ground floor, all absolutely spotlessly clean;
A lovely, quaint, traditionally appointed kitchen/sitting room, complete with all the necessities, including a two seat sofa and very large television, plus a foldaway table and chairs for breakfasts.
A large, traditional bathroom, (situated along a short corridor which runs between the kitchen and bedroom) consisting of bath with shower, sink equipped with hand wash etc. and toilet.
A large bedroom with Juliet balcony.
(The only slight surprise was the beds. Advertised as 1 double bed and 4 singles, it turned out to be 3 bunk beds, so 6 singles. This was not a problem for our 1 night stay but, I fear some couples might find it to be a detriment). However, the beds were very comfortable and if one was not satisfactory, we each had the choice to swap it out and try another...Bonus!
All in all, we found nothing to not like.
Lovely owner/proprietor, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation, with more than adequate facilities and good comfortable beds for the night and with breakfasts included.
I would recommend anyone to try it.
