Guest Reviews
- zc (9/5): So happy we found this place and they both really made us feel welcome, incl the dog. - 10 * breakfast catering! Funniest birds and chicks and ducks. Free to come and go as you wish. Lovelly hospitable couple. Even had a fridge and tea making facilities in room, fab! Mattressses fabulously comfy. Having the dog with us was no trouble, she was even offered bowls and her own doggy bed and was allowed to join us for breakfast. spider in bathroom ; ) but was soon sent out, lol.
- Peter (1/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Great to stay - Lisa and Gos were very welcoming. Our rooms came with a mini fridge, tea/coffee/ hot chocolate and eveything needed also toiletries.
A great choice of breakfast items to suit our variety of tastes, fresh eggs were great.
- Malgorzata (8/5): -
- Tanya (9/5): Quirky little place with feathered friends - Hosts pets. Lack of storage
- Lucy (8/5): Friendly welcome in the heart of the broads, a nice stop-over on a weekend away - Lovely friendly people, very welcoming. A delightfully homely atmosphere, very much "old style" B&B. Really felt like we were house guests in that sense, and a nice breakfast too. It was a bit cold perhaps, and the single beds weren't the comfiest. No big deal though (i'm only putting this here because it asks for negatives)
- James (10/5): - The kind welcome we received. Breakfast ready for the time we requested, no hesitation. Offered advice and shared knowledge of the area. Parking available. That we couldn’t stay for longer.
- Shaun (10/5): Fab and highly recommended - This charming little b&b is ideal in every way. Small, charming, and family run. Great, friendly owners, great food, and very quirky! Breakfast eggs lsid fresh by their own hens! Everything about this guest house was ideal. However, non-drivers like us should be aware of the limits of public transport before planning trips. Also be aware there are only two bedrooms.
- Gerald (9/5): - Stayed with me daughter . To be honest little bit spooked at first as we normally stay in bigger places with onsuits but had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was amazing . Amazing hosts
Thank you Prefer to have an onsuite
- Clifford (8/5): Loved the atmosphere - A family style bed and breakfast with a really eclectic atmosphere. The owners were friendly and accommodating. A lovely stay Bed was a little too soft for my taste but was nevertheless comfortable
- Jerry (9/5): Had everything and compact and good value. - Location with Falgate Arms and Londis closeby. Nice welcome and good pineapples.
- Michael (6/5): Differently Quirky. - If you are looking for 4/5 star accomodation then this is not the place for you. However if you prefer a no frill everyday family home which is a bit quirky then this is where you will find it. Can reccommed the freshly cooked breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens kept by Lisa and Gos.
- Veslov (8/5): Great facility + breakfast - Unique experience with a nice room, super breakfast and “flying guests”. Great location for visiting the Norfolk Broads. Amble parking. None
- John (9/5): It was a perfect very cost-effective stopover on our cycling holiday, in a beautiful Broads village - Lovely host, breakfast, value for money. Shower and toilet in the room
- John (1/5): The owner gave us £100 pound refund admitting the photo’s were old. Please give the complaint phone - The breakfast Left after first day. Heath and safety issues. Incorrect photos. We would like a full refund. I tried to contact on the first day but could not get through. We had to find a hotel in Yarmouth to finish our holiday which cost us £225 pounds. Please give me a refund and the complaint phone number.
The H & Safety at Yarmouth should be informed.
- Russell (8/5): Homely B&B with wonderful hosts - Lisa and Gos were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. The room was clean and comfortable with all the basic requirements provided. Breakfast was nicely prepared and very tasty. Worth the stay for this alone! Great location for Potter Higham and the broads. Very easy to find. Not really anywhere to relax other than your room, but as B&B it was perfect.
- Nathan (8/5): Charming accommodation and lovely hosts - Very welcoming hosts, charming building and in the nicest possible way very rustic and felt like staying over at a grandparents home. Only downside the fridge in room very loud intermittently and kept waking us up but that's nitpicking as we overall were very comfy
- Roger (4/5): Disappointing - Breakfast was served as requested at the time agreed. Dressing gowns available at request, yet not offered. Long trek to a private bathroom in the corridor, breakfast served in a room overlooking the rear garden with an overgrown lawn and in general more of a junk yard, dirty windows of the breakfast room with a blaring radio. Lack of friendliness from hosts.
- Faram (8/5): a good location for the broad's - first rate nothing
- Adam (9/5): Superb - Well placed. Nice and easy. Comfortable and everything worked properly. Good price and extremely welcoming folk.
- Steve (8/5): Nice stay, value for money, breakfast was plentiful. -
- Rebecca (7/5): Good -
- Young (10/5): We will be happy to come back - A great choice for our stop over. Location was just as we wanted. Small unique and with a welcoming atmosphere.Great hosts who ensured our stay was memorable in the best possible way. Very tasty breakfast and a varied chat with and about the hosts and their other feathered colleagues.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was very good. Lisa and Gos were excellent hosts. Room was ok. Bathroom was down the hall, but ok.
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Olive (10/5): Exceptional - The very welcoming reception Lisa was a great host nothing to much trouble
- Peter (8/5): Very good - The landlady was very nice, the whole atmosphere was good and the breakfast was superb. For the twin bed room the private bathroom is at the other end of the corridor.
- Ross (9/5): A lovely stay! Friendly and informative hosts. - A warm and friendly welcome, easy to find, comfortable bed, clean, a fridge in the room. Breakfast was lovely! A proper tea pot! Nothing
- Moira (10/5): Exceptional - Lisa and Gos were very welcoming and made you feel at home. It was also central to all other areas of interest.
Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed. There was nothing that we did not like.
- David (10/5): Quirky homely comfortable and friendly. - Really quirky house, very homely
Loved the parrots.
Good breakfast
Very friendly.
Handy for Potter Heigham. No outside view from the bedroom window.
Didn’t worry me as I booked the room to sleep in!
- Wells (10/5): Comfortable welcoming stay - The breakfast was lovely, made for a time to suit you. Being the cold time of the year, the heating was on until late bedtime. Lisa and Go's made one feel very welcome, a pleasant stay on my part. I was disappointed there was no hanging space for clothing,or drawers, having said this space was minimal, this was in the twin bedroom, also the WC was down the corridor which was difficult if like me bladder weakness is an issue. Only other niggle was pillows were quite flat,so I purchased locally 2 more for my comfort, result.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Youngs (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (9/5): Spent four nights here while exploring the local rivers and Broads - really nice, friendly place! - Cosy, quiet room. Good breakfast and great hosts who were prepared to do anything for us.
Really good local pub too just down the road.
- Mark (10/5): It's a true real place to stay. - All as described, a great reality about the place, right up our street, breakfast perfect, hosts perfect... Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Laid back relaxed weekend. - Lisa & Gos were fantastic hosts, helped us out with great information about the area & most of Norfolk to be honest 😂 (the fish & chips at the Sherringham trawler were amazing Lisa thanks 👍😊) The breakfast was gorgeous, freshest eggs you’ll ever taste, will definitely be staying at Littleholme again, anyone who’s an animal lover will love it 👍 thanks again Lisa, Gos, see you again soon. Chris & Adele xx Quirky but a lovely little place, made us feel at home which was really nice, and there’s a lovely one eyed cat so what more do you want 😂
- Pat (8/5): Very good - Lovely hosts, very welcoming. Only problem was the distance between my room and the bathroom.
- Paul (10/5): Comfortable - Lisa & Goss were a pleasure to stay with.
- Steve (8/5): Host was great very friendly and easy to chat with. Breakfast was brilliant - It is a bit different but in a good way ie the animal’s 😀
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice couple who run this very friendly b and b had a very nice stay and will be back There was nothing to dislike
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (8/5): A comfortable overnight stay in local accomadation,, with local hosts who checked in regularly - The breakfast was outstanding ,with obvously local produce,so to make the most of this meal , eat a light evening meal the night before. The hosts were friendly but not overpowering, and their pets add to the homely feel, which was a pleasant alternative to hotels etc.Their local knowledge was useful for evening meal sites , I can recommend this property ,and would stay there again. Many thanks I enjoyed the whole experience with the hosts ,and their pets, the double bedroom of the two used for guests looked into their garage ,so a screen covered the window from the garage,so there was no natural light or fresh air, however it,s in the advert, and did,nt deter from our stay.,
- Rachel (6/5): Friendly, but fairly basic accomodation at a low cost. - Friendly people, clean room, lovely breakfast, tea availability with real mugs and milk in the room. The bathroom (sole use for the room) is located down the main hallway of the house and is on the small side - though it was very clean and toiletries had been provided as well as fluffy towels. The room needed airing, but was fine once we had the windows open for a while. Security could be an issue, being downstairs on the main road side of the house.
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Lisa & Gos were so friendly & welcoming. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious 😋 looking forward to returning again soon
- Mark (7/5): Very welcoming nice room & great breakfast owners were lovely & helpful for places to eat - Great location for our needs lovely welcome & owners we're lovely All our needs were met at this location
- Christopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andrew (8/5): A great little place with fantastic hosts. Breakfast superb and nothing an issue for the hosts who are most friendly. Th - The location is great for getting around the broads No en suite but not a show stopper
- Joy (4/5): I only stayed one night - Nothing outstanding I was not given the correct room on arrival the one I was given was front facing and extremely noisy
- Michala (6/5): OK for 1 night but needs improvements - The hosts were really lovely people, and the breakfast was great, too. Thank you to the hens for the fresh eggs. It is so hard to write this as the couple are really lovely, but we think we should be honest about our stay so the hosts could maybe make some improvements. The bedroom smelt really damp and was not as clean as it could have been, cobwebs and edges of the floor were not very clean. You couldn't open the curtains or window as there was an outside room full of stuff so you couldn't see a thing. So the room was dark, even with the lights on. It was such a shame as its in a lovely area.
- Jakubr2988 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (8/5): Comfortable bed, lovely hosts, good breakfast - Excellentshower Shower a bit small
- Ellul (9/5): Very comfortable and accommodating - excellent hosts and magnificent breakfast View from bedroom window
- John (8/5): If you’re looking for a friendly accomandating place this is it , great fresh breakfast, fantastic for couple of days a - En-suite, breakfast, hosts really welcoming and friendly.location was very good for us , Window in Room, pulling in and out of drive tricky .not a problem for us but could see it being awkward for some .
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Amazing, Wonderful Hosts and a Haven for All. - Amazing, incredible hosts who ame to my aid during a storm. Excellent food, a countryside haven for all and of course the quirky parrots. Next time I stay I will make sure the weather is as kind as the hosts.
- Sheila (10/5): Welcoming, friendly, excellent location and very reasonable rates. - The location is excellent as the area is so pretty and many things are within walking distance.
Lisa and Gos are so wonderfully welcoming, friends and exceptionally helpful. We left feeling more like family, and will definitely return.
Breakfast was incredible, their home made oat cakes were wonderful, and the full English was plentiful and very tasty. They went above and beyond, with everything and even cooked my little old dog a sausage for breakfast. I highly recommend staying here. I honestly can't fault this place. The bedroom wasn't huge, but had everything in it that we could need.
- Beverley (8/5): A warm relaxing break despite the awful weather. - If you are expecting the Ritz then this old cottage is not for you , but if you like a lovely warm welcome , a comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast with several choices which can be changed as required. Off street parking , close to Potter Heigham and central enough to reach most parts of Norfolk . If a wardrobe or a clothes hanging rail could be fitted but it might not be practical .
- William (9/5): Superb - Lisa and Gos were very good hosts Parking was difficult
- Sally (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was really yummy,. Loved the chickens and ducks,. Lisa and Go's are great hosts.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Micol (8/5): Welcoming and cosy - Lisa and her husband were really welcoming, the room and the bathroom were exceptionally clean, breakfast was excellent. In addition My daughter and I enjoyed to have breakfast while watching the beautiful chicken andducks in the garden and meet the mervellous parrots. From the property to Horsey gap is just few minutes by car, so I will definitely raccomend it because at that price I doubt you can find something better!
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Doreen (10/5): Highly recommend a stay - We had a lovely comfortable room tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, kettle, water in refrigerator, nice size refrigerator plenty room inside. Gos and Lisa were very friendly an attentive couple made you feel like you were at home loved the cat Harry, the parrots were beautiful and funny, they even said goodbye when we left, loved the chickens cockerel and ducks, and gorgeous chicks one born when I was there gos showed it to me one minute old it was a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend staying. A very yummy full English breakfast too with there homemade oat cakes very nice indeed we throughly enjoyed our stay with them a real genuine loving couple. love the oldy worldy feel took me back in time loved the bbq a real treat for anyone like me that loves to see things from the past and was a station masters house can’t say enough about this trip just it was great There was nothing we didn’t like about this trip can’t wait to return
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Home from home. Welcoming, warm and friendly hosts.
- Barbara (10/5): Excellent hosts. - Rustic family home
- Thomas (10/5): Simply excellent. - Lisa and Goss were very welcoming. Very friendly. Very good with my son who has extra needs. Little extras were provided, simple things such as extra toast at no charge and allowing my son to meet their pets. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of excellent quality and cooked fresh to a time to suit us. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you. Nothing. It was perfect.
- Christopher (10/5): Friendly, clean, comfortable, everything you need whilst away from home - I was made to feel at home immediately, everything was great & the breakfast was really good, 5 stars There was nothing that was not good
- Mandy (4/5): Disappointing -
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Littleholme - Littleholme is well situated, close to the local bus route and walking routes. There is parking if you come by car. There is a shop, pub and restaurants within 5 minutes walk.. Very good breakfast. Lisa and Gos (and their cat!) are excellent hosts.
- Sturrock-mcmoore (7/5): Comfortable room, excellent hosts - Good location, lovely breakfast and friendly hosts Would've like a room with a window
- Gregor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (7/5): Good location - Loved the chickens and ducks. Breakfast very good. Also didnt pick up on the bathroom being seperate from the bedroom. Sometimes a bit of an issue having to come out of the room to use the bathroom particularly in the middle of the night.
- Milasienė (8/5): Good luck to the hosts - Delicious breakfast. Nice hosts. Beautiful view from the kitchen window, walking chickens and ducks. Dirty floor in the room. It was unpleasant to walk barefoot from the shower to the bed. The edges of the bathroom floor are very dirty. It was also unpleasant to see dirty shoes in the dining room.
- Colin (6/5): Pleasant - The hosts were very friendly the morning shower very powerful fresh milk in the fridge The breakfast was very well presented though of little substance
We had a room which had no view the window looked into the garage and was very clostraphobic
- Judith (8/5): Had everything we needed and value for money . - Loved the sounds of the Parrots, the chickens and ducks and the cat who rules the house . Lisa and Gus were a very nice laid back couple. And breakfast was lovely.

- Marie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Candice (8/5): Very good - The hosts, Lisa and Gos are very welcoming.
Easily accessible location.
Good size room.
Quirky property with resident cat, parrots and chickens all contributing to an interestingly lovely stay, and a good egg for breakfast. More accustomed to an en-ensuite, but sole use of shower room a few steps away not really an issue.
- Christopher (7/5): Littleholme B&B Review - The owners were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Great to see free ranging chickens in back garden. The B&B is easy to find and suited my requirements. Comfortable beds. Needs some updating and TLC. Didn't pick up on the bathroom being separate when I booked.
- Pauline (8/5): Friendly and accommodating hosts. just what required for overnight stay - clean and comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. good breakfast with plenty of choices. nothing
- Lance (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly hosts. Great breakfasts. Eggs were all home grown.
- Johnson (5/5): Cleanliness of the place not acceptable would never stay again or recommend to anyone - Breakfast was fine good quality food, location excellent Window in the room looked into a filthy internal garage, no fresh air at all in the room very dingy lighting.
No suitable communal space because of the caged birds
- Godfrey (6/5): Pleasant - This was very convenient for me doing sailing events on the broads being just off the main road. The hostess was very pleasant and the property quirky but charming and interesting. One rather expects everything to have an on-suite these days but it didnt matter to me as an overnight bolt-hole at a reasonable price.
- Rhonda (8/5): Very kind and welcoming hosts, breakfast was lovely. - Very convenient location, easy to find. Parking by the front door was great. Comfortable bed, great shower.
- Hayley (9/5): Had everything I needed for a couple of nights away - The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was so tasty
Nice location Was difficult to get the shower to a nice temperature

- Joanna (9/5): friendly place lovely breakfast - welcoming hosts ,lovely breakfast and nice clean comfortable room. would definitely return
for another stay.
- Anna (9/5): Quirky but fun - Quirkiness. Basic but good, hosts Lovely, I had broken ankle on stay - managed well, I feel nothing would be too much for host's. Breakfast lovely. They had a parrot in another room who wolf whistled - funny. Not really an issue but couldn't there be a cool box in room not fridge - save energy!
- Eloise (10/5): Definitely will stay here again - The owners were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast they provided had lots of options and was all tasty.
