• Kush (1/5): Host physically assaulted me - Where do I even begin with my horrible experience with this host, I have never in my life been assaulted by a host the way this man physically assaulted me, we had booked this place for a family getaway, before arriving the host had messaged me that there was construction work going on which they couldn’t complete because of the weather but was told there wouldn’t be any work done till after we leave, It was a bit annoying but the host told us he’d have champagne ready for the inconvenience when we arrived which he didn’t even have ready for us, upon arriving we had noticed the construction work but we didn’t mind as the inside wasn’t affected, the next day of our stay was non stop construction work, from the morning till when we were leaving, the machine used had also re tricked our entrance which made it extremely difficult to leave, I didn’t message the host as I thought let me just forget it as it’s only for today even though we were told there wouldn’t be any work done. When we was leaving they had continued the construction from early morning, we were told there wouldn’t be any work done however both out of the 4 days we were there, there was noisy construction, on the day we was supposed to leave the host had asked me if the construction had annoyed me to which I replied yes it did, I had only bought it up since he mentioned otherwise I wouldn’t have said anything, the host then called me a liar because I had confused the time of the workers arrriving despite me showing pictures of the machines in front of the door, the host was extremely rude that I found the construction annoying and said that were wasn’t any construction going on at the time but why ask me if there wansnt any work going on ? He clearly knew there was work going on which is why he asked and then when I said yes it did annoy me, he started behaving extremely aggressive, I told him we were leaving in 29 mins as the house was a tad bit messy with the duvets not folded so we wanted to make sure The house was nice and tidy before we left so there was no room to complain, I didn’t even know he was angry at me for saying I was annoyed till he came banging on the door of the house and pulled me by my jacket to leave and then came mm away from my face and started screaming, he then accused me of smoking which we weren’t we were cleaning, he was shouting slurrs as well putting his hands on me, I am small 5ft for reference and I’m a girl, if my brother want there to push him off me I don’t know what I would have done, I have never been helically assaulted by a host in my life so if you are a family or a women please do not book or he will put his hands on you, the builders being there throughout the whole stay just made is so uncomfortable for us as they were outside the windows the whole stay, I have got in contact with booking.com and the authorities as I am extremely traumatised, please do not book this man is aggressive. He will pull your hair and throw your belongings out.
• Tommy (8/5): - Comfortabel en gerieflijk! Rustige ligging net buiten Amsterdam, in het mooie Vinkeveen. Heel goeie communicatie met de eigenaar In principe viel niets tegen, enige wat een klein beetje vervelend was, de steile trap naar de bovenste slaapkamer.
• Sbrufido Padova (10/5): Casa bellissima vicino al lago - La casa è davvero bella e accogliente! Ha tutto ciò che serve per poter mangiare, molto ben pulita e ottimi i letti. Parcheggio davanti a casa. Vinkeveen è un paesino con un bellissimo lago e ville da sogno. Michel ci ha assistito prima e durante il viaggio con ottima comunicazione.la Tutto consigliato. Peccato aver fatto solo 2 giorni. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare Amsterdam e il nord olandese. Tutto perfetto. Mancherebbe solo un freezer che può essere comodo d'estate.

• Azly (10/5): Super séjour dans une magnifique région qu’on a aimé découvrir - La grandeur des pièces, propriété, emplacement. Temps de réponse rapide de l’hôte et bonnes suggestions. La beauté de la région et l’accessibilité aux grandes villes par train. Escaliers restreints vers la chambre du haut mais on trouve la bonne technique et on s’y habitue

• Lucia (10/5): Highly recommended!!! - Excellent location, in a quiet, bucolic and full of nature neighborhood, a typical dutch place. Confortable beds and good shower. Easy to park the car in the free public places. Very well equipped appartment. Excellent communication with the owner. There is a good supermarket nearby. Highly recommended!!!

The host was so easy to contact and extremely helpful. The neighbourhood is very quiet and it’s not difficult to get into Amsterdam. I recommend 100% 🤍 Nothing

• José (10/5): Exceptional - The house is impeccably renovated with modern materials. It has everything needed for self-catering. Michel was always very diligent in all requests and even offered a discount voucher for car rental. The location is superb for exploring the Netherlands by car with free parking right in front. I can't help but suggest adding a strainer, a mop and a bucket. The only repair is the very steep stairs to the upper floor but for someone agile it is not a problem at all.
• E (9/5): Hidden Gem - The Host was ahead of everything you may need ... 'idiot-proof' guidance. The apartment is super. Clean and smells delicious fresh. We were so comfortable. It is a stay between stops so it was perfect. Supermart is 750m away. And very good quality food in nearby cafes/restaurants. The best dorado fish we have had in a long while at Prinz Henri nearby. And you can go in any direction to explore other towns. We embarked a trip to an old Hanseatic town one day and it went all easily. We could have a warmer temperature in the bedroom but we managed to adjust the heating control :-)
• Mr.gerts (10/5): Beautiful apartment in the beautiful and quiet town of Vinkeveen, great location and great host! - The place was beautiful and had everything we needed, we were all very comfortable. Located a 10min-walk away from the bus station which we used daily to get to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam etc. Supermarket and other shops walking distance as well. Host was amazing, assisted from before our stay until check-out and after our stay, always ready to assist with any questions we had.
• Karen (10/5): Wonderful Apartment in the heart of Vinkeveen. - The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. We were traveling by bicycle and Michel let us store our bicycles in the apartment. Michel is a wonderful host. He went out of his way to find us another accommodation when we requested to stay at his apartment for an additional night. He was unable to host us another night but he found a friend with a rental who accommodated us. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice visit to Vinkeveen. He responded very quickly to our questions. The location is perfect-located close to a grocery store. Also, the apartment is very quiet, the beds are comfortable and the shower is very good. I would highly recommend staying here and if I ever return to Vinkeveen I would hope that I could stay here again. This is not a negative but just FYI-The spiral ladder to access the upstairs very steep. It would be difficult for someone with mobility issues and young children.

• Yeshayahu (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed the place from the apartment. Everything is clean and tidy. Really in a great location. There is a boathouse there that rents a boat and you can sail on the lake and between the houses. Just like Venice. highly recommend. The stairs of the room that is upstairs looks a bit weak.. looks more for children and not for adults.

• Muath (10/5): Worth to visit again - The place was the same pictures very clean and speed wifi. The place is good to chill in the countryside of Netherlands, 15 minutes by car to Amsterdam metro. Good communication with the owner.
