• Rachael (10/5): - This hotel is just a few blocks from downtown Kennett Square which makes is perfect for eating at local restaurants and shops. They is current construction on road to parking lot however I was waved in and out with no problems. Our room was spotless and the bed was extra comfy - just like a boutique hotel - without the boutique price. Highly recommend!
• Sara (10/5): Nice room with outside entry - Grew up in area, and this is a newer place and style in general. Ease of access, contactless setup with door access and departure. Some times it is nice to not have to go through common area to get to room and that is exactly the style set up here. Mural was nice touch to room, along with the shower set up. The room is exactly what was need for a quick stay with simple bed and nice shower but no added features of couches or other real seating areas which is perfectly fine for purpose of room. Definitely will come here again and definitely recommend place.

The surrounding area was under mass construction and made finding the building a little difficult. We were at an activity at Longwood Gardens We are sureand told our friends about the hotel and its uniquiness. We will surely go back when we are in the area to see their progress.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very good. Comfortable. The hot water was too hot. It should be turned down a little. Could use another chair but where would you put it. Otherwise a good place to stay.
• Andrew (6/5): - Modest three star property but in industrial neighborhood. Reasonably clean and quiet. External appearance pretty grim and the room has a concrete floor. The overall feel is that one is staying in a well appointed shipping container.

• Alex (10/5): Beautiful rooms, comfy stay - The location was perfect, it’s the main reason I stayed here at first, I will be coming back next time I’m in town for more than the location. The room was spotless. The bed was so soft and very comfy. Check-in and out was seamless. The hand painted mural was certainly the highlight though. The room was a beautiful place to stay, a nice change from the bland chains.
• Dianna (10/5): Delightful and beautiful! - What a beautiful room, with some upgrades that made our stay absolutely delightful! The one-of-a-kind artwork, the walk-in shower, the noise machine, the well stocked refrigerator, chocolates on the bed, along with clear instructions on how to operate the TV and the Nespresso machine were greatly appreciated. House slippers, clothing steamer, and 10x mirror were surprises that were also greatly appreciated. I don't travel much, so maybe these extras are what most travelers take for granted. I just know this hotel was an absolute pleasure. If we stop in this area again. We will definitely stay here again!

The nespresso in the room was a perfect touch, along with tea and a variety of coffees! My only critique is that the parking lot lacks lights - we arrived at 10 pm and had to use our phone flashlights to see where we were going.

• James (6/5): Fun, arty rehab of an old roadside motel. It’s ok. - If you’ve seen Schitt’s Creek, this is like that. An old, rundown roadside motel that has been refreshed with new paint and nice amenities, but no changes to the original room size or orientation. It was on the bad edge of downtown - easily walkable to shops and restaurants, but don’t go the wrong direction. It’s a nice enough place, but no front desk (they assign you a lock code for your room, so there is no “check in” process). Their gimmick is that each room has art on the walls. It’s fun and funky, but I’ll probably look elsewhere at the price point.

This is such a lovely place—the art is a great touch, the no-contact check-in was easy and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. It’s a small thing but the cream in the fridge for coffee was a lovely touch. It’s within walking distance to a breakfast place (Hanks, right next door), the Creamery and at least one brewery. And a less than 10 min drive to Longwood. Great place.

Enjoyed the complementary Nespresso. Contactless check-in was easy. On-site restaurant “Hanks Place” offers excellent breakfast and lunch options, and the hotel is within walking distance of many other restaurants, brew houses, and various shops. We will definitely be back.
