• Titikorn Pimonpun (10/5): - The room was so clean. The host was very nice. Asami came to greet us in person. The place is opposite with an onsen where is very important for us after skiing all day. The check-in process was very convenient with the staff from café nearby. There was a drying room for those who have ski gears and all. Nothing.
• Tammie (10/5): Amazing Norichanchi close to cafe / restaurants and Nagasaka Gondola. - Location: close to cafes and restaurants and bus station. Amenities: self-service towel refill as needed, dry room was good, beds comfy and warm. Loved the big shower / bathroom in the 2brm apartment, meaning 3 people could be using toilet, sink and shower/bath simultaneously. Apartment was spacious. Host: Asami was amazing. Checked in on us daily when we got back and assisted with getting our luggage sent ahead of us back to airport. Nothing. We chose to walk up to the Nagasaki gondola every morning so that definitely gets your legs and heart pumping! But maybe with young kids this might be challenging so should opt to take the shuttle bus from the station instead.

The key was collected from a lovely cafe just below the apartment, so there was always someone available to help us (as well as delicious coffee and food). The beds were amazingly comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more.

• Ten Key Trips (9/5): A nice place to stay in Nozawa Onsen - Norichanchi is a nice place on the edge of the main street of town, so it's a pretty good location. It is about a 10 minute walk up the hill to skiing walking directly to the gondola, and it's about the same if you walk through town to the moveable walkway, which takes you to a different part of the ski area. The building is attached to a vegan cafe, so if you like vegan food, it's a perk. The almond butter there is great. Norichanchi provides all the basic amenities you need and has a decent coffee / espresso machine downstairs and some snacks, which is nice. We stayed as a family of four, and the two rooms were really nice for that. We picked the unit with the full kitchen table, and we weren't disappointed by that choice. It was critical for us to have our own private bathroom, since we were traveling with children, and this was a good option for that. All in, we really liked it.

Would definitely stay there agai - Great comfortable apartment with plenty of space for our family of 2 adults, 2 teenagers. We liked the thoughtful touches such as a basket of teas supplied, chocolates, bottled water in the fridge and an excellent communal coffee machine. Nothing really.

Everything you need when on a snow trip is there for you. We loved eating breakfast at the cafe Shizen before heading to the slopes. And the short walk home through the Main Street at the end of the day, stopping for pork buns for dinner, was perfect. Nothing

• MEGAN ELIZABETH (9/5): - The apartment is beautiful and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The location is right in the cute part of town, easily accessible to restaurants. The shower part of the bathroom did not have heating and was not well insulated, so it was freezing. Fortunately, the water out of the shower was nice and hot so it was manageable but not ideal.
• Shahida (7/5): Love the strategic location and room amenities. - Strategic location very close to chuo terminal so you don’t have to carry your heavy luggage uphill nozawa. It’s even close to restaurants and shops. Room quite spacious, got 2 big sweet apples and mineral water in the room and 1 time complimentary breakfast at shizen cafe next door. The tv have youtube and Netflix as well. Appreciate if you can provide at least 2 pillows per person, thats all.
• Mozzih (8/5): - Location was great, apartment was newly refurbished and very clean. There was hanging space for clothes but no drawers, so it was living out of a suitcase which we found was very common in all the places we stayed in Japan. The host was great in organising a taxi from the accommodation to the train station which turned out to be an excellent idea as it was snowing when we left and the shuttle bus stop is out in the open. There was also two toilets which was a bonus for a family of four. Unfortunately there was pump under the bedroom windows that cut in and out all night. It wasn't particuarly noisy and it didn't keep us awake but it was annoying.

The location is perfect for restaurants and onsens after skiing all day. The shower room is amazing!! Also, a washer and dryer which is so helpful with ski clothes. Nozawa Onsen is my favorite part of Japan. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful visit!!! We didn’t need the space heaters. They were a little noisy. We just shut them off. But, so nice they are available, since we had a foot of snow everyday!

Small thing but would have loved to have a bath as well as a shower to soak in after days skiing. Apart from that minor wish, everything was perfect.

• Oriana (8/5): Beautiful room and attentive host, but noisy - It was newly refurbished, very clean and comfortable for two people. Bathroom and shower fantastic and the microwave, toaster and refrigerator were useful and welcomed. A nice touch were the lovely fresh apples on arrival, and the coffee machine and washer dryer in lobby for free use were great. The owner was very friendly and attentive to needs and cared about guests and her hotel. She included a free breakfast voucher for 2 in the price. Unfortunately our room was located over the coffee shop in the building and facing the street . This which meant that 3 nights a week we could hear noise from the cafe till late and two mornings a week we were woken up at about 6am by the music of the yoga class when the cafe turned into a yoga sala. Late into the early hours of the morning during our whole stay we were kept awake by the loud noise of people walking home from the bars. So if you are a night owl the room would be fine, if not request a room at the back of the property.

• Sarah (8/5): Comfortable, good location - Good location, a short walk from the major bus stop in Nozawaonsen. Beds were comfortable, and the facilities were clean and simple. Breakfast vouchers for 1 x breakfast each at the lovely Shizen cafe just next door were a welcome treat! On our last day the host/owner of Norichanchi came to personally say goodbye, which we thought was a genuine and nice touch. Our room was situated above the cafe and they recently extended their opening hours to include dinner service, so some nights it was quite noisy in our room when trying to sleep. I think it was only when they had large groups of people in the cafe.

• Christina (10/5): Checkout the newly renovated Norichanchi! - Apartment unit is brand new and considerably spacious too! Towels are clean and they offer extra towels if needed for change, provided quality toiletries (razor, hairbrush, toothbrush/ paste is also provided. There is a coffee machine provided FOC. They also have. washer and dryer for FOC use too. Beds are super comfortable and they even provide a dehumidifier too. Location is brilliant..just a 2 min walk from Chuo Bus Terminal & the nearest onsen as well as just a 5 minute walk to town. Nothing to dislike about the place except it is a bit pricey.

Very close flat walk to winter village action and reasonably short warm-up to Nagasaka gondola and Mt Dock gear hire. Minor - Only 1 lock card for apartment and no instructions for keypad.

• Angeline (9/5): Great family week - The location and the accomodation was simply perfect for our family of 4. The beds were comfy and bathrooms were modern. Close proximity to the public onsen and the apartment also has a bath in case one decide to stay in. Great breakfast offerings which is next to the apartment. And only a short walk to the ski fields and village shops/restaurants. Everything was perfect
• Benadel38 (9/5): Snowboarding trip - Had pleasant stay. Although it is not value for money, it is at least worth the money. We were welcomed with nozawa apples. The washer and dryer at the ground floor lobby are the best. It is about 15 mins uphill walk through the icy path to get to the slope. It is a 5 mins walk to the nozawa bus to Iiyama. On rainy days, umbrellas will be on standby for guests to use. There are not enough hangers and cabinets for us to hang our apparel.

• EMI (10/5): 完璧な滞在場所 - 全てが完璧でした アクセスも良く、飲食や買い物に行く時も坂道の多い野沢温泉においてとても楽でした お部屋は広いワンルームタイプで2人が滞在するには充分ですし キッチンもIHコンロに電子レンジ、冷蔵庫も完備されています 水回りは広めの洗面台が中心で左右にウオシュレット付きのトイレとシャワールームが有ります お部屋を改造して間もないのか、お部屋へ入るたびに新築の香りが漂っていました。 テレビではネットフリックスやディズニーチャンネル等々…沢山のチャンネルから見る物を選ぶのが大変でした。 基本、海外の方を対象とされていると思いますが、お食事は外で…と考えている方でしたら野沢温泉で一番のお薦めだと思います 私は気にならなかったのですが、強いて言えば 日本人の方は湯舟が欲しい…と言う方には少し不向きかもしれません。 でも、せっかく温泉街で宿泊しているのですから お部屋のシャワーの後、温まる為に徒歩1分で十王堂の温へ行くのも一興かもしれません。

Beautiful apples on arrival a nice touch! Virtually no storage! No towel rails (which are essential for a five day stay!) Had to get on hands and knees to access glasses, mugs and crockery!

• Daniel (8/5): Our family had a great time and would happily come back, and also recommend to friends. - Great location, very clean apartment and the interior looks very fresh. If you arrive on the Nogawa Onsen Liner (bus), it's a short 3 minute walk to the apartment. Check-in was very easy in a cafe next to the apartment. It's also very close to the walking street, where the main shops and restaurants are located and a short (uphill) walk to the main gondola. There is an onsen (with a tolerable temperature, not too hot) just a minute away which is great for apres-ski. The owner also has an inn just around the corner, so if you have any requests, he is very quick to respond. The gas heaters warm up the apartment really well but makes everything super dry; it would be good if humidifiers were provided. There is no real dining table/area, so not ideal for self-catering, but you can easily manage simple breakfasts and meals. Kitchen/cooking utensils are basic, but the host is very responsive to provide other items if required as he has a guesthouse around the corner. Anyway, you are on holiday, so go out and enjoy yourself!. I would recommend booking restaurants for dinner in advance, as popular places get fully booked; the host helped us to book.
