Guest Reviews
- Griffen (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing remote house in the Kyoto countryside. Hideo-san and Yukako-san were wondeful hosts, they made us delicious sukiyaki hotpot, perfect for the cooler nights. The surrounding area was so quiet and beautiful.
- Kc (8/5): The location quit remote and you must drive there, Everywhere was well presented - I like the old heritage style, all facilities quit good for where the location. we went there in winter time and it quit cold, the heater just make me a bit of headache because of the gasoline.
- Rebecca (8/5): A beautiful location to stay in a thatched roof home that has been shared for generations! - We loved that the owners shared their very special home that they have had in the family for 200 years! We also loved meeting the owners and their dogs, who were all so welcoming and kind. The landscape outside is gorgeous with a beautiful river nearby, and all the nature sounds to lull you to sleep. If you have allergies to older homes, be sure to bring some allergy medicine. It is an authentic thatched roof home!
