- Edward (10/5): - Marvellous place! On the doorstep of some incredible nature and mountain views, warm and homely place, and they even have a Jacuzzi. It was very cosy to stay with Anders and his partner, we had a lot of interesting conversations about all sorts of things and life on the island. They were kind and attentive to anything we might need, and their cat is very sweet.

Owners are fantastic people, we enjoyed our time with nice conversations and everthing we needed and more. Great tracks around the property, option to use the jacuzzi, nice spots close to the building.

- Silke (10/5): - Tolle Lage, hübscher Strand in der Nähe. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen der Inseln, aber auch bis Ålesund. Sehr nette und informative Betreuung vor Ort Wir wollten nur eine Nacht bleiben, haben aber wegen des guten und des schlechten Wetters 3mal verlängert.

Nice house, would recommend the room with view, the other was very small A little lack of privacy, showering difficult in tub without curtain, was great for one night, but felt like we were in someone else's space

- Thilani (8/5): Very good - This hotel gave us everything we could need as a stop on our road trip. We could get some rest, wash our clothes, and charge our devices. The host was very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay for travelers touring the country!
- Battleman (9/5): A surreal experience - Jack was a very pleasant host. As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding. Access to the jacuzzi was janky, with no lights around or any "warm" path to access it. It's in a semi-outdoor veranda, unheated. As soon as you start using it, humidity builds up and it starts to rain inside :)

- Nataly (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place. There is everything for relaxation. Nearby there is a beautiful beach and the sea. Quiet and peaceful place. Friendly owners. If you have the opportunity to visit the islands and stay there for night, do it.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - This is more a guest house than a hotel. It's a bit like staying at someone's home, with all the facilities available. Great kitchen and dining area, absolute calm, beautiful situation and easy to head off for a few hours walk. Beaches nearby for a swim. Host Jack was attentive and always ready with a solution to any problem..
- Holly (5/5): For a budget minded traveler. Beautiful location. Shared bathroom - The Island is beautiful. The location of this property is perfect. The seagulls squawking nearby and the smell of the sea air was amazing. The owner and his brother were entertaining, gracious and friendly. If you needed, anything they were quick to respond. Rooms are rented out sharing common spaces. No breakfast offered. The restaurants and shops were closed when we got there. What was not advertised at the time , was a shared bathroom with 4 bedrooms sharing. I did not like that and would not have booked there if I knew. I told the owner. He quickly fixed that on booked.com. We only stayed one night because of that. Otherwise a beautiful island.

- Ian (8/5): Super hospitality at the edge of the world. - Very helpful and friendly. Unique location. Excellent hospitality. Very ready for a light-hearted chat or serious conversation. No shower, but larger bath with shower head (no bracket). No way to secure bedroom door.
- Doaa (10/5): Exceptional wild and peace house - The location although it's far away from the center of Ålesund but it's perfect place to stay with the nature and see it's calm and cozy .I have enjoy my staying in Flem and wish to be there again 😊 Everything thing was perfect. I can't wait to hitting the road again
- Ronja (10/5): 10 out of 10! Island paradise! - 10 out of 10! Both, Hosts as well as accommodation were the highlights of our trip in Norway so far. We thoroughly recommend staying there if you are nearby. We have never felt more welcomed and at home in all of Norway. The island is beautiful, lots of nature and birds and walks. We’ll probably back soon!

- William (8/5): it was lovely &.had a large tv/sound system in the lounge. Thanks Anders for your wonderful hospitality. - The host Anders was so friendly & helpful. The space is great with kitchen & large lounge. The only down side & this is nothing to do with the property, it is the very expensive toll bridge which you need to cross to get to this island & it is the only route. Apparently motorbikes are exempt from the toll charge.
