She doesn’t just welcome you; she genuinely invests herself in helping you get the very best from your time in Lapland, offering the kind of warmth and care that transforms a holiday into a memory. The villa itself is breathtaking: spacious, beautifully designed, and instantly comforting, with every facility you could possibly wish for. Its lakeside setting is nothing short of enchanting. Each morning we woke to the stillness of the frozen lake, the soft glow of sunrise stretching across the snow, and the quiet embrace of the surrounding forest. It felt like stepping straight into a living postcard. The wellness facilities were a highlight we’ll be talking about for years. Having both an indoor sauna and a traditional Finnish lakeside sauna felt wonderfully indulgent. Stepping out into the crisp Arctic air afterwards is an experience that stays with you—and for the brave, a dip in the frozen lake is an exhilarating must. Several evenings, we gathered in the Koti BBQ hut, where Finnish friends treated us to the full delights of Lappish cuisine. It was a feast of flavours and a moment of pure connection. And then there were the Northern Lights. To witness the aurora on both our first and last nights felt like a gift. Watching the colours ripple and dance across the sky from the lakeshore was simply breathtaking—the perfect opening and closing chapters to an extraordinary trip. Arctic Mint Villa is an absolute treasure. For anyone seeking a truly special rural escape, wrapped in nature, comfort, and unforgettable moments, this place is pure magic.

• Mark (10/5): Amazing experience staying at Articmint - An absolutely amazing experience staying at Arcticmint for our family of 5. Jaana was the perfect host, welcoming our family and ensuring we enjoyed a genuine Lapland experience. The house is lovely, extremely well appointed, spacious, warm & cosy - exactly as you would hope for it to be. Amazing fire hut outside was a key part of the overall experience as was the jetty providing access to a lake dip. Thank you so much Jaana for hosting us and we very much hope we can visit you again some day...
• ALEJANDRA (10/5): Maravilloso - La casa es maravillosa, y Jaana un auténtico encanto. La experiencia en la sauna tradicional y el baño en el lago helado son imperdibles, el enorme jardín, la equipación para disfrute de niños y mayores… sin duda el mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado.
• Michael (10/5): - Jaana the host was amazing from start to finish , nothing was to much of a trouble and happy to help us with any questions we had. The house for 7 of us (5 adults 2 kids) was more than big enough and the view from the main living area you can't get bored with. It's an amazing peaceful retreat after long fun days in the snow and would recommend this accomodation to anyone. The whole family has had a truly memorable stay.
• Wong (10/5): A most relaxing stay and the best host I ever come across. - The Perfect Host A perfect villa complete with an outdoor barbecue hut and an outdoor sauna, with a beautiful lake in the backyard. It comes with a very well equipped modern kitchen and well-furnished living areas and bedrooms that allow us to enjoy the warm comfort of home away from home. The villa was so comfortable and the grounds so tranquil , we took a long time setting out for the day’s activities just so that we can enjoy the property just a bit longer. The host, Jaana was the perfect host.She was most hospitable and helpful. She genuinely wants her guests to have the most enjoyable stay both at the villa and in Rovaniemi and would go the extra mile to accommodate if you have any request. When we mentioned that one of the rooms was a teeny weeny bit stuffy, she promptly went out to buy fans for our use. It was a totally unexpected kind gesture. We engaged Jaana as our driver to transport us to and from the airports and to the places of interest. She was not just our driver but also our guide. She provided very useful information about the places we went to and even accompanied us on some trail walks. She also gave very good recommendations of restaurants & eateries that the locals patronised. At the end of our stay, we left the villa with a warm and most satisfying feeling … it was worth it all. Thank you Jaana. A little far from city but it was a choice we made, choosing peace & serenity over busy city convenience. There are sufficient toilet facilities however the 2 shower areas were within the sauna grounds. So was a bit inconvenient as we had to take turns to use the sauna and or shower room.
• Satrupa (10/5): Arcticmint Magic: A Trip to Remember - Our stay at Arcticmint Villa was nothing short of magical. From the cozy lap hut to the breathtaking lake walks and meeting the reindeer, every moment felt special. Ice fishing by the campfire, savoring salmon pockets and jam sandwiches, and soaking in endless saunas made for an unforgettable trip. Seeing the Northern Lights three out of four nights was surreal. The spa experience was well worth it—pure relaxation. Jaana was an incredible host, making us feel like family. She even spent half a day with us, treating us to lakeside hot drinks after ice fishing. The kids loved sledding, and the villa itself was perfect—four comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and the most stunning views from the couch. This trip gave us beautiful family memories to cherish forever. We will be back! All heart. Nothing.
• Sophie (10/5): Amazing place to stay! - Very nice view, quiet environment. Clean and spacious, we were with 4. Super host and very helpful with information. She spoiled us with preparing the hottub and sauna. Maybe missing a carport for the car but we were lucky with as good as no snowfall.

• Richard (10/5): One of best experiences of our life!!!! - Our stay at Articmint was without doubt one of the best experiences we have ever had on a Holiday. Jeanna was hugely invested in making our trip to lapland an incredible experience. She went above and beyond in sharing information before hand and supporting us during our stay. The house itself is incredible. Something our kids said was like a movie. Everything you can possibly think of is there. Very well equipped Kitchen, Robes, Slippers, Premium Bed Linen....the list gos on. The remote location along with the personal touch from Jeanna was the highlight of our trip. She and her father welcomed us and shared this amazing location that has been in their family for a long time. A stay at articmint will be something any family will remember fondly for many years to come. Nothing - it was perfect in everyday.
