• Kushal (8/5): A comfortable and accessible stay worth the price, despite some service hiccups like laundry delays. - The stay at Roambay was very good and comfortable. The location is easily accessible, and the bed was neat and comfortable. They also have a locker facility, and the washrooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was worth the price. The staff was helpful, and everything felt reliable for a short trip. I booked for 1 day but extended for 3 more due to work, and the laundry service wasn't available because the washing machines were not working. They gave the same reason for 2 days, which was inconvenient. WiFi was a bit spotty at times, especially in the evenings.

• Caro Lusnia (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable stay - The house in which the hostel is located is very beautiful and quite peaceful. The rooms are well distributed and comfortable with AC. There is a well stocked kitchen (only vegetarian cooking allowed) and staff are kind and helpful. Location is okay, near a couple of nice restaurants and cafés (try The Old House!). Not nearby a lot of places to eat or supermarkets.

• Christian (10/5): Excellent choice in Mysore - Everything- I really liked the unusual layout of the dorms, everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were really comfortable. The laundry was also very good value and the clothes smelt amazing. In short this is an excellent hostel.

• Lavnya (8/5): Good value for money - It was a cute property, looked exactly as shown in the images. The beds were not normal bunk beds you would usually find in hostels, the room had a proper upper deck space where beds were placed, hence there was more space.

• Daniel (9/5): - Ich durfte im 6-er Dom übernächtigen mit Zugang zum seperaten Foyer. Perfekt zum Arbeiten und sich auszuruhen. Die Lage ist perfekt und es war zu meiner Zeit sehr wenige Gäste im Haus. Deswegen waren alle Facilities immer available. Als Traveler mochte ich besonders, dass ich meine Wäsche im Haus waschen konnte (150 Rupi eine Waschmaschine voll). Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilft bei allem weiter. Pakete wurden angenommen etc. Die Ventilatoren in den Zimmern sind sehr laut (und klein). Konnten auch nicht variable eingestellt werden. Das ist sehr störend zum schlafen. Ich hatte trotz Ohrenstöpsel meine Probleme. Im ersten Zimmer des 6er Doms sind drei Betten... d. h. ist das hintere Zimmer besetzt ist, hast du Durchgangsverkehr. Ich hab dann das ZImmer gewechselt von vorne in das hintere Zimmer. War da alleine und daher alles perfekt für mich am Ende.

Exterior of the property is beautiful and the area feels safe and clean. Its always a pain to have to run to a shared shower. But it was clean and not too busy

• Baxx23 (10/5): Great stay 🙏! - Is a lovely and big house, there are many dorms mine of 8 was quiet spacious, nice common area plus small kitchen and another area attach where to eat and socialise, the owner very kind and helpful, even the rest of the staff was good. I appreciated the area, kinda quiet and nice, 1km from centre witch I used to walk , around you can find easily some places for eating or bfast (the old House my fav😀)

• Sharifah (7/5): Decent budget stay in hear of Mysore - The hostel is located in a decent neighbourhood. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a kitchenette with a hotplate, microwave, fridge, and kettle. The beds were comfortable and there was a chill out area that seemed decent. We booked what we thought was one room for two, but upon arrival we were told we had booked the room for one person and would need to pay double. This was not clear at all when we booked, as the price seemed it was per room. Be careful when booking for two people! Also, the bidet in the women's toilet was leaking, leading to the floor being constantly flooded.

Good deal for solo travellers., A rental bike service is available near this property, which is an added advantage Need to fix issues like a non-working TV and essential toiletries, etc.

• Julian (9/5): Superb - The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is a great option if you are looking for a comfortable relaxing stay. The bunks are spacious and very comfortable and there are ample showers and toilets. The wifi is good and free water is available in the guest kitchen. The hostel is a short 15-minute walk from the Palace. Not too many eating options nearby, but not really an issue.

• Susan (8/5): Probably the best value in Mysuru - A lovely heritage building in a quiet area, with good communal areas for relaxation, and some stylish touches. Clean. Low cost laundry - wish I'd saved mine 'til I arrived. Able to check in early, and there's a place to store luggage after check out. Decent mossie screens on the bedroom windows plus plug-in repellent. Comfortable bed. A few negatives (which could easily be remedied) - no loo roll in the bathrooms, no hot water in the women's bathroom. My private room had no lock on the door, only 1 power socket, no hooks, hangers or mirror, and an annoying click on the fan which meant I couldn't sleep with it on. Overall, a pleasant stay.

• Waslame (7/5): Great potential is not being exploited - There are large and beautifully designed rooms. The hostel is located in a quiet area. I was not given the 23 square meter 6-person room I had booked, but a very small 4-person room, although many of the large rooms were empty. AC didn't work in the room. Only the first shower on the far left has enough pressure for water to come out of the shower head.

• Christina (8/5): Really lovely, comfortable stay in Mysore - I really enjoyed my stay here, it was very clean and looked almost new however the staff said it was actually an old building. They clearly take good care of it and clean it daily. My bed was comfy and I loved my room which had 2 floors- a little loft area I thought was nice. Staff were helpful in providing me a towel as I left mind behind at the last hostel. Lots of communal space where I was able to do yoga. Staff let someone into my room very early in the morning and didn't seem that considerate of the fact someone was sleeping in there.

Dorms were clean but there was no privacy, doors would not close and staff would barge through the open dorm to access other parts of the building at all times of day. Wi-Fi was very bad
