• Sarah (10/5): A truly relaxing and memorable getaway with my kids in a beautiful space, hosted by the lovely Saskia - I stayed at Beach Angel for 4 nights with my two children and we had the best time. The unit is absolutely stunning—beautifully styled, clean, and comfortable. Saskia was incredibly friendly and attentive, always quick to respond to any questions I had, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend staying at Beach Angel and look forward to coming back in the future!
• Anna (1/5): AVOID IT ID YOU CAN - Free parking We are a family of five who have been traveling around Australia for two weeks, and we've never felt so scammed. We booked this apartment two months in advance to secure good conditions. Just 24 hours before our arrival, the owner informed us that one of us would have to sleep on an inflatable mattress in the living room. When we pointed out that the listing mentioned a sofa bed, she told us we could cancel if we weren’t happy — and even preferred that, claiming we had booked at a discounted rate and she wasn’t making money from us. Unfortunately, with such short notice, we had no choice but to stay. On arrival, the apartment was filthy — hair everywhere, disorganized bedding, and worst of all, the kitchen was unusable. The pots and pans were so dirty and covered in leftover food that cooking was impossible. There were also no toiletries, despite being listed on Booking.com. When we raised these issues with the owner, her response was rude, sarcastic, and arrogant. She told us that for the price we had paid, we couldn’t expect better conditions or service. Mockingly, she even asked if we expected her to personally drive over two hours from her home, bringing her child along so they wouldn’t be left alone, just to wash a pot for us. Her tone was condescending and even somewhat threatening. Of course, we refused — we are not that kind of people. To make matters worse, because the owner didn’t like that we complained, she later sent us a threatening message claiming she had reported us to the police and the Australian government — something that makes absolutely no sense. We sincerely hope no one else has to deal with her, as instead of resolving issues, she seems more inclined to threaten and intimidate her guests.
• Yap-peng (9/5): Good location but not as clean - It’s location and it’s quiet . It’s more like an Airbnb accommodation, so a starter kit in the kitchen would be good, example- some milk, fruit and cereal. Need a water jug in the fridge. Wasn’t very clean - sand on the couch and hair on the floor. Some mugs were not well cleaned.
