Guest Reviews
- Suzanne (10/5): Great place could have stayed longer - Felt like home. Very comfortable nice furniture & clean. Well equipped Nothing to dislike
- Gabriele (8/5): - Sauberkeit, Größe des Hauses.
- Riley (9/5): -
- Bampton (10/5): It was Fabulous! - It was in a great position, and the owners were very helpful to us? Nothing.
- Melanie (10/5): A tiny home from home ♥ - A real home from home in this tiny house.
On arrival the property was clean and smelt lovely and fresh
Well equipped kitchen with small fridge freezer, toaster, slow cooker, microwave and modern hob. Usual kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery.Litte extra touches included complimentary milk and bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar and sweeteners, and some little biscuits. There was also washing up liquid, J cloths, tea towel, cleaning products in kitchen and bathroom. Various recycling bags.
The furniture and decor was fresh and modern. Grey wood effect vinyl flooring throughout with grey carpet up the stairs.
The sofa and chair were super comfy, both are electric recliners.
Retro style 2 person table and chairs.
TVs in sitting area and bedroom are wall mounted. Free WiFi. Usual tourist info pack for local attractions.
Large shower room with heated towel radiator. Large sliding door shower cubicle has a low profile tray with rainfall and standard shower heads with good pressure. Compact wash hand basin and compact dual flush toilet. The tiny house has a dedicated electric hot water tank. It is small but we never ran out of hot water over 3 days. There was again complimentary body wash and hand wash. Generous number of towels, 6 in total.
Lovely bedroom including bedside units with lamps both sides, dressing table with lift up lid with a hairdryer, large built-in wardrobe with clothes hangers. Wall mounted TV, but we didn't use it.
The double bed was super comfy, lovely cotton bedding, feather pillows and cosy not too heavy duvet. We slept so well, later than usual...
You have off road parking, own front door, key safety box, code given prior to arrival. Private outside area to sit, washing line and external rubbish bin. Short walk into Padstow centre but there are steps and hill to walk back up
A lovely find in a quiet residential area of Padstow. It was ideal for us. We will definitely stay again when needing accommodation in Padstow. Nothing ☺
- Laura (9/5): Fabulous for a short break would recommend - Ideal little property
8-10 minute walk from centre of Padstow
Everything needed for a short break for 2 people with parking Nothing
- Wendy (10/5): - Very well equipped, exceptionally clean and comfortable and the reclining sofa was a real treat.
- Nicola (10/5): A fabulous short stay in a beautiful, modern and clean property. It had all we needed and was very comfortable. We will - The property was very modern and clean. It was also very comfortable. A little walk out of the centre of town but not really a problem.
- Karen (10/5): Great find - Well equipped, very comfortable and in a good location.
- Emily (10/5): - The new shower screen was a bonus but like the last time we stayed everything was absolutely perfect, thank you so much and we'll be back again
- clare (10/5): -
- Beverley (9/5): Host has provided a great place to stay. Thank you Pauline - Good location, 15 minute walk into town. Spotlessly clean, had everything needed for our stay. Loved the recliner sofa and chair😄 Full size bath sheets/towels would be a good addition.
- Chris (10/5): -
- J (10/5): Great little apartment, could be perfect with some minor improvements. - Beautiful, clean apartment with everything you need. Private entrance, plenty of privacy with shutters on all of the windows. Lovely and warm in January. Comfortable bed, fresh sheets. Electric reclining armchair and sofa. 15 minute walk into town, although I would warn that the hill on the way back is quite steep, keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Friendly hosts. Convenient parking spot right out the front of the apartment. You have hobs in the kitchen, and a microwave, even a slow cooker, but no oven. Nice size TV in the bedroom with access to the HDMI sockets so you can use a fire stick to view Netflix/Prime video. I would definitely go back to stay again. TV in the living room is very small and old. The Netflix app doesn't work because it's too old to update to the latest version, and the remote doesn't work very well. I always bring a fire stick to plug into the TV for things like this, but you can't access the HDMI sockets on the back of the living room TV, because it's fixed flat against the wall. Hot water for the shower only lasts about five minutes. You have to get undressed, get your soap and shampoo ready, turn on the shower and jump in as soon as the water is warm, get yourself washed as quick as you can before the hot water runs out. Then you're stuck waiting twenty minutes for the hot water to replenish if your partner wants to have a shower after you.
- Sally (10/5): Fab - The house was comfortable, clean, great location
Milk, tea, coffee, biscuits were all there .
- nicholas (10/5): Lovely 2 night stay in very comfortable property in great location. - Quiet residential location with short walk via a footpath to town.
Very clean. Well equipped. Comfortable lounge area.
We were able to check in early which was really helpful. Nothing
- Emily (10/5): - It was perfect for our needs
- Barbara (9/5): Cosy, comfortable bolt hole. - Perfect for a New Year break. Warm, comfortable, quiet and an easy walk to the harbour. Everything provided and we couldn’t recommend more highly. Short period of a barking local dog but not really an interference.
- Sian (10/5): Everything was perfect 😊 - Great communication with Pauline. Good location, less than 10 mins walk to harbour. Such a warm cosy apartment. Everything was high spec. We loved it and will definitely return Nothing.
- alex (7/5): Great location to explore padstow and good value for money - Great location, clean, compact but well equipped Hot water supply was challenging despite the advice posters provided
- Jim (9/5): A lovely comfortable place except for hot water supply in shower. - Location was great. Parking was great and the fully equipped kitchen and comfy lounge and bed. Hot water supply for having a shower is definitely not up to standard. You do not have time to wash yourself before it goes cold and certainly no time to wash your hair. Needs to be brought up to standard!
- Nigel (10/5): - Lovely clean apartment, great location
- Trevor (10/5): Short stay - Ideal location for the short walk into Padstow.
Very comfortable and loved the electric armchairs.
Parking always handy.
We would definitely stay again.
- Paul (8/5): A little gem - Cosy, clean, easy access to the town and parking.
- Tobi (8/5): Cosy apartment that has everything you need - It was very clean and tidy, and has everything you need for a nice few days away. Good location, a few minutes walk from the supermarket and the harbour. I would definitely stay again. I would improve the instructions for setting the water temperature for a hot shower, as it didn’t seem to last for more than a couple of minutes despite following the guidance of being gentle with the boiler.
- Ben (8/5): -
- Joseph (10/5): Excellent apartment. Very well appointed and convenient to the town center. Highly recommended. -
- Dyus (10/5): - Perfect visit, lovely 10 minute walk down to the harbour. Beautiful, immaculately clean, and extremely comfortable, lovely quiet area. Nothing

- Kathy (10/5): Heyric superb - What a gem of a place. So clean, cosy and comfortable. Ideally situated for us. Short walk into Padstow. Carparking right outside the door Only a small thing, shower temperature temperamental
- Teresa (9/5): Lovely place to base a stay in the Padstow area. - Very well equipped and in a quiet area outside of the main town but still within easy access.
Immaculately clean, and all the kitchen accessories were all top quality. Great to be able to park outside the property. Bedroom was a bit small with little space to walk around. Bathroom water heater was only enough for one shower at a time then we had to wait for it to reheat. Could have done with some shampoos etc in the bathroom.
- Chris (10/5): Great Short Stay location with nice walk to harbour via the town churchyard. - Clean, Comfortable & Self Contained. It had everything needed for a short stay. Private ground floor entrance with direct access to bedroom and shower room. Stairs lead up to open plan living area - kitchenette, small table and comfortable recliner chairs with wall mounted TV Nothing
- Juliet (9/5): -
- John (9/5): -
- Peter (8/5): An idea Padstow pad for a visit close enough to walk to the harbour far enough from the traffic for - Location and ease of access and parking. Tea and milk there for my arrival. The on site parking is very convenient. The usual problematic traffic driving to Cornwall.
- Lynn (10/5): Superb property in great location - Very clean and so comfortable had everything you needed
Recliner chairs were very welcomed after a long cycle ride Only negative thing was there was only decaffeinated coffee available
- Candy (9/5): Lovely apartment close to the town. - Lovely apartment, very nicely fitted out and decorated.
- Noel (10/5): - Everything. Nothing
- Colin (10/5): Great place to stay - Ideal one bed apartment, clean and 10 minute walk to Padstow harbour. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Location to Padstow was excellent - Just a five minute walk (map provided at HeyRic), also in a quiet residential area and parking provided!
Everything you need in the apartment, TV, hairdryer, induction hob, microwave, toaster ,small fridge/freezer,pots/pans, plates, cutlery etc..comfortable seating area with reclining seats, nice table and chairs, salt, pepper, vinegar, tea, coffee, sugar and small milk (to get you started, which I thought was a lovely gesture. Bedding, towels, tea towel, cleaning products, hand soap and shower gel also provided!
The bed is very comfortable, the wardrobe is generous size and the bedroom sockets have phone sockets too. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs.
Nice small seating area outside with a washing line & pegs.
Mike & Pauline leave you to it, if you need anything you can just message...key provided upon arrival. Lovely hosts.
Lots to do in Padstow, plenty of lovely pubs, restaurants, eateries, galleries and lovely shops...Tesco is only a few minutes away and local farmshop which has a lovely small produce market only 4 minute drive away (near, veg, cheese, honey, bread, pasty, salads, alcohol etc) Also lots to see and do in the area!
Wouldn't hesitate to return to HeyRic in the future. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.❤️ Nothing we didn't like , just a couple of suggestions...board games for rainy days and a line prop or something of this nature, so towels don't drag on the floor when drying!

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect for what we wanted, clean and comfortable N/a
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suet (8/5): Very good - The whole set up is very good indeed except for the size of the water heater. The water heater is too small and the water turned cold in the middle of having shower.
- Maureen (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - This is a fantastic place to stay in Padstow. So clean and comfortable, we were very impressed. One of the best apartments that we have stayed in. Car parking and only a short walk into the town centre. Cooking facilities were excellent too. We loved everything about the place.

- Amanda (10/5): Wonderful Mini break - Fabulous apartment photos don’t actually do it justice it’s home from home

- Helen (9/5): Cosy little house for a couple’s stay in Padstow - Lovely, well-fitted little house in a great location. Easy walk into Padstow but also very easy to use as a base for exploring rest of Cornwall. Had everything we needed, and good value for money.

- Peter (9/5): Very satisfied with our choice. Suited our needs well - Newly furnished and fitted out to a high standard. Quiet and comfortable. On-site parking. Enjoyed self catering both morning and evening. Something for potential guests to consider is whether they want to eat out in Padstow in the evening and then walk back uphill in the dark. We preferred to self cater in HeyRic.
- Laurice (10/5): Just wonderful. Loved Padstow as well despite the rain - Loved the comfort of the property. It has such a welcoming feeling to it. Loved the real milk in the fridge and the ability to cook our own meals on full size kitchen. The recliners chairs were a bonus. Wonderful stay. That we didn’t book a longer stay
- Sion (10/5): Perfect little place to stay, nothing bad to say. - Excellent place to stay. Spotless inside and out. Had everything we wanted. Would love to come back again.
- Dajana (9/5): wonderful. - Great little property. Located within easy distance to Padstow. Super cosy and comfy. Keys are in a lock box outside and a code is given before arrival. Not that I didn't like it but an air fryer would be a good addition to the property as there is no oven just a hob and microwave.
- Tanja (9/5): Beautifully presented apartment with good facilities. - Very well presented accommodation with everything you would need for a short or long break. Host was friendly and communicated well. It was quite a long, uphill walk from town with baggage. My own fault for not booking a taxi as I checked in very late after work!

- Charlotte (9/5): Would absolutely recommend if visiting Padstow - Heyric was perfect for what we needed! A lovely cosy space, very comfy sofas and bed and very clean. The location was amazing - only a short ten minute walk into Padstow, you’re basically on the doorstep. It had all the essentials and our hosts Mike and Pauline were very friendly and greeted us as we arrived. There was a pint of milk, bottles of water, tea, coffee and biscuits available. It was fab. The only few things we didn’t have (that aren’t essential at all) was a full length mirror, cheese grater and towel hooks to dry your towel off after a shower. Of course we managed without these though just fine! A wonderful stay.
- Hazel (9/5): Great apartment in a quiet area not far from the centre - This little apartment is very comfortably furnished and has everything needed for 1 night or a longer stay. - Helen (10/5): Beautiful apartment, fantastic value and great location - don't miss out on this! - This new apartment is fabulous - everything we needed, perfectly clean and excellent value - I'm going to have nothing to put in the 'didn't like' box! It's situated just out of the main village, with a lovely walk down through footpaths and this means it's quiet. Added to this, free on-site parking is definitely a bonus in a place like Padstow. Thank you, Pauline - it was smashing. As I say, I can't say anything! All absolutely fantastic.
