Guest Reviews
- Verma (2/5): We were very disappointed with the up keep of the place. It should not be on listed in Booking.com - The staff as very nice and polite. 80 to 85% 0f all the hallways on the second floor had water damage and had a moldy smell.
We stayed one day and moved out the next day, but they did not credit us for the second day.
There was no one p in the morning to assist.
- Luc (10/5): - Very nice old couple, beautiful big house. Somewhat outdated (like, electric appliances from 25 years ago) but conserved all of its charm.
The onsen are nice, both the free public one, and the private one.
- Jimi (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy, really clean.
- Van (8/5): A beautiful and serene location - Beautiful location, clean, and the kindest staff. Our room was huge and the different breakfast each morning was delicious and generous. Book dinner in advance unless you have a car to drive into town.
- Yuval (5/5): Passable - The place is run by a very nice elderly couple. The building and the lobby are beautiful. It is 10 minutes drive from hirayu onsen. Nice size rooms. They don't know English and only speak Japanese, but they made a great effort to communicate with us. The place, although beautiful, is old and the facilities are outdated. It is isolated, so you are kind of bound to eat breakfast and dinner at the place. There were spider webs in the room and the onsen wasn't the cleanest. In addition, the owner said only at checkout that they receive cash only(something worth mentioning in advance, as there are no close ATM machines in the area), and when she saw we didn't have enough cash, she suddenly pulled out a brand new card machine. And even then, she was reluctant to let us pay the full amount, even though it was all of our cash. We were left with a bitter taste
- Clara (8/5): Very good -
