Die Lampen am Doppelstockbett beide defekt. 2 Waschbecken eigentlich gut, aber eins gar nicht angeschlossen. Wasserdruck Dusche) extrem gering. Fehlende Aufhängungsmöglichkeiten für Badesachen und Handtücher.

• Cristina (7/5): A good place to stay but lacking attention to detail. - Good place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is one of the furthest accommodations located in that beach area. To arrive to Tayrona park it will take you around 15min on a motorbike for a cost of 4€ aprox. To be mentioned that the front doors are not very practical and ants/mosquitoes can easily enter. You should also know the bathroom area is outdoor so once again be aware of mosquitoes. Seems like the water in that area is not clean, you can see in the toilet it has a brownish colour and consequently found some bed sheets and pillow covers with brown spots. All in all it was a good place to stay but lacking attention to detail.

• Terrence (10/5): Off the beaten path lies a perfect little slice of paradise. - Just an incredible find. Spacious and clean room with a magnificent balcony and lounge net. It was a few of the most relaxing days we’ve had in years. It’s a 10 minute ride down a crappy road, but 10000% worth the temporary discomfort! Right next-door to a chill beach club called blue mango with good food and a lovely pool.
• Mathilde (8/5): Very good - Good location in front of the sea. The restaurant next door is definitely a plus. The upper house looks nicer than the one below. Cosy but nothing extraordinary. Check in was a bit fuzzy. And no personal touch in the room.

• Reem (10/5): A perfect place to disconnect and to relax - This place is like heaven. Super quit and exactly what I needed to disconnect. The hotel has 4 rooms and therefore super quit and you still have privacy. It’s located by the beach 🏝️ We had the family room with an amazing view. Blue mango is a hotel next door where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner and use the pool as well. Juan David was our host and he was always there for us whenever we needed anything. He helped us with organizing our trip to Tayrona national park, the rides, and everything. He was super patient and very welcoming. We booked a massage session. The session took place on our terrace. Isn’t that amazing? I recommend the coco therapy 90 min. I felt like a new born afterwards. I would definitely come back. This place is amazing. Just make sure to bring some mosquito spray with you! This is a must have
• Jesse (10/5): Amazing place to relax right on the beach - Great little place on the beach. There’s only 2 huts consisting of 2 rooms each. You are allowed to use Blue Mango’s facilities, which is literally next door. Juan David is an amazing host!

• Lukas (10/5): Sooth your mind at gäelia - Amazing location on a lonely beach, if you're looking for a place to calm your mind then stay here for a few nights. Only 4 rooms, right on the beach. One of the best places I've been to during my travels, hands down. Stunning ! There's no bar or anything but the hotel next to it has a very good bar and restaurant so this really is a non-issue

• Caroline (10/5): Amazing spot to enjoy the sea peacefully - The room is beautiful! Have enough space. The bathroom also very nice decoratated. If you want to have peace, this is the best option. Its a very small hotel, 4 rooms. You only hear the sea. From the bed you can also see the sea. Its a great stay to enjoy the peace and have nice days at the beach. Just to know, there isnt yet any Restaurants or bar in the place, but you can go to the hostels next to it. It didnt bother us at all. Everything was great!
• Stefan (9/5): If you liked it quiet and peaceful the perfect place - The room/ apartments are very nice and compfortable.As I stayed on both levels. Ground floor and upstairs,…. I have to say that upstairs is a bit nicer. The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful. Restaurants in short distance to reach . There’s a strong current ,so quiete dangerous to go for a swim.
• Maria (10/5): Wonderful room with a view - We could not ask for a better place. The house is like a dream, with a nice terrace looking into the beach and the sea. My favourite part was the bathroom, which was outdoor but really sheltered. Jorge was very kind and helpful. In the room there is good coffee (real one) and a cafetière. Next door there is a restaurant where we had wonderful breakfast every day and the best pizza in Colombia (I am Italian and really fussy about pizza). We could park the car just behind the property. The sea is not great, you cannot swim right in front of the beach but you can walk 10 minutes to a different part. The road to get there is a bit long and in a bad state. You need to follow the signs towards blue mango to get there. The chairs on the terrace are not very comfortable, it would have been nice to have longer ones where you can rest your head too

• Kim (9/5): Overall good experience but quite expensive - It was really clean, spacious and comfortable. The view was really nice. There was no free water, you were charged extra. I think for this price, free water bottles would have been nice.
• Kourtney (10/5): Gaelia is a MUST - it's beautiful inside and out, and the hosts are fantastic! - We loved everything about this property! Our room was one of the upstairs units, with a balcony and an overhead hammock. We loved how we could keep the doors open for a nice breeze and ocean sounds. We could also lay in bed while watching the waves, and it still felt very private. The outdoor shower was our favorite part! And the hosts are lovely people, so helpful and informative. There's no restaurant or bar at the property, which was perfect for us because it meant that it was quiet with no crowds. Gaelia also has a partnership with the spot next door, where you'll eat breakfast (if included) and have access to the pool. At night, if you choose to go home early, you can still hear the music (or sometimes karaoke) from the neighboring bars, but it didn't bother us. There's a handful of restaurants and bars accessible by walking along the beach (2-15 minutes, depending on where you want to go) - but it's still small enough that the beach feels really open/not overcrowded. We were actually shocked at how much untouched space there was, it's pretty magical. There's partying if you want it, there's also rest if you want it. Best of both worlds! If you're looking for a beach to run on it will be a challenge, but the walks, sunsets AND sunrises were gorgeous! It's also located right outside Tayrona, and about a 20-25 minute drive to the main park entrance/parking lot where you can start a few of the popular hikes. We stayed for two nights, but would have loved to stay for longer in order to experience more of the park! Our internet wasn't great, but thankfully we weren't working while we were there. The internet out on the balcony was better than in the room, but it was overall best next door at the bar/restaurant/pool. This isn't on the hotel, but a heads up that the sand fleas on this beach are no joke. You don't feel them biting you, and won't even know they're there until the next day when you have red bumps all over your arms and legs. It's been a week since we left and we're still healing.... so definitely bring and actively apply your bug deterrent!
• Daphne (10/5): Exceptional - The beach house of Gaelia is very beautiful and the view right from the terrace is amazing with ocean view. If you want to have a very relaxed laid-back place, go here! We were welcomed with a fresh coconut from the trees that are around the beach house. The people that run it couldn't be more kind. The food at Blue Mango is very tasty. • Anonymous (10/5): PARADISE ! - Simply in paradise. The flat is everyone's dream, complete relaxation, the owners super welcoming and the structure super new and designer. You fall asleep with the waves of the sea and wake up with the sea in front of you. PARADISE ON EARTH. Great food, swimming pool and a stone's throw on the beach lidos where you can go dancing in the evening. In short, PERFECT holiday . I was also able to have a wonderful massage while listening to the waves of the sea just after waking up. What ask much ? NOTHING !
• Andrew (7/5): A beautiful property, I would say, slightly overpriced in view of the various shortcomings, but it did make a very styli - Beautiful little set up. Excellent location at the sea shore. Stylish room, especially bathroom. Customer care could have been better. Jorge, the link person was a very casual presence. He did his best, but for the price, there could have been a more ‘professional’ arrangement. There was no key, and although this fitted with the very safe feel of the place, although ai requested this, the response was that the place was safe enough. The key was promised but never arrived. This left me feeling somewhat uncomfortable as I had nowhere to put my passport, cash etc other than to try to hide it within the accommodation. The shower, although stunning in appearance, had the lever fall off constantly, which somewhat spoiled the beauty of the bathroom from the start. I daren’t ask for this to be fixed for not wanting to come across as a pain to the super-informal host. The fan was pretty useless despite looking wonderful in carved wood. It was situated far too high in the larger room to be able to feel any benefit from it. The room therefore could have benefited from an additional floor based fan directed towards the bed, which, in retrospect, I should’ve asked for. With the absence of air conditioning, and the closing of the heavy curtains, the room had a stifling feel at night. This coupled with the fact that the design of the placement, but it was not possible to exclude mosquitoes with netting properly, meant that there was a need to put on mosquito repellent at night. Overall, therefore, sleeping was not easy in the stifling heat.  There was an arrangement with the hotel, next door, Blue Mango, which worked well in terms of paying for food as you go along. The food that was excellent, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The use of the pool was also pretty essential due to the heat.  There is an unusual arrangement, where you could move the ladder in order to climb onto outside netting, from where you could lie and enjoy the view.

The beach bungalow (great bed, gorgeous open bathroom) is also brand new and very beautifully designed. There is a fan above all the beds and a mini bar.

Probably the best ocean view we’ve ever had and it was literally only a few steps away from the balcony. Great pool and restaurant next door, which is included for guests at Gaelia. Bed was very comfortable, perfect with the big ceiling fan and constant ocean breeze. Staff was great, especially Jorge who was quick to help with anything we needed. The wifi is hit and miss; Works good on the balcony. The little mosquitos are a problem, just make sure to bring plenty of repellent.

• Stephanie (9/5): Jorge the property assistant attended very well to all our requests and left the room in order and very clean when we ar - The property was very well attended as far as the room and the private entrance to the beach. The restaurant next door at Blue Mango is at your disposal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was still under some repairs but everything was clean and of high quality when we arrived. The bed doesn’t include a mosquito net and the bathroom has an indoor/outdoor exposure so bring mosquito repellent- it saved us and made the stay more enjoyable! Blue Mango also always has an all night DJ party night on Tuesdays that we actually loved and enjoyed but if that’s not what you’re looking for then stay a different night for peace and quiet. It’s a little difficult to find this location because there’s no sign out front that it’s Gaelia- so I recommend you let your taxi or motor vehicle attendant know that it’s next to Blue Mango.
