Guest Reviews
- Christine (8/5): Is was quiet surrounded by beautiful countryside.could hear horses, sheep, cockerel and a peacock. So good to be away fro - Warm, clean comfy bed and lovely shower. Settee not good for us
- Aarti (10/5): -
- Natalie (7/5): - We needed a cheap place for overnight stop and this fitted the bill. Peaceful location and short drive to a pub for evening meal. Fridge and microwave were useful as we brought food for breakfast. Shower was decent. Very basic accomodation, we usually stay in pubs with tea/coffee, toiletries, hairdyer provided and none of these were available. Toilet not clean but rest of the apartment was fine.
- Sally (7/5): The description was fairly accurate. The bathroom was well thought out being on the small side and i - The location was quiet except for the peacock calling at 04:30. We were warned but did not not think it would be that early The duvet wax smaller than the the bed. Not good for two but ok for one. We were two people.
- Linda (8/5): Had a great time. - Lovely countryside location. Full countryside experience, country smells ,cockerrill and peacock morning calls.
Good base for travel within the county.
Nice area for country walks.
- joanna (8/5): ideal countryside stay for exploring Wiltshire and surrounding areas - rural location amongst beautiful countryside Close neighbour kept going out through the night and disturbing us. Took a while to find it as Brookfield didn’t come up on sat nav
- Dik (6/5): - host was behulpzaam. geen mooie locatie. Tweepersoonsbed was te klein voor 2 personen. Geen goede zitgelegenheid.
- Anthony (7/5): Fine for a cheap overnight stay. - It was clean and everything worked. The double glazing was effective, useful as it was on a through road with several cockerels and a peacock next door. The bed was more comfortable than it looked and I was given extra pillows. Finding the place. It is actually called Two Birds, all spheres Farm owns it and is next door.
TV was useless, very small and at ceiling height.
No mention was made of the £15 charge for the dog until I arrived.
- Timothy (1/5): Very disappointing. - Nothing Very difficult to locate - the name of the property (Two Birds) does not appear anywhere in the booking details.
No oven in the kitchenette - should have been stated in the booking details.
No one to greet me at reception and initially no reply from the emergency contact number (and very poor mobile reception to make the call).
Very small and uncomfortable bed.
No heating.
Very small and uncomfortable settee with very uncomfortable position to watch television.
- Danielle (10/5): Fabulous, cosy and quiet - The apartment was really lovely, clean and had everything we needed wished we were staying more nights. Was so quiet, the bed was really comfortable and the property was nice and warm. Brilliant value for money, would definitely stay again. N/A
- Jette (9/5): - Well equipped, spacious and comfortable.
Nice location in the country. The rooms were a bit cold to start with but they fixed it when we asked. It would be nice if you could control it yourself, but i think it's done centrally.
- Wendy (7/5): Basic but clean, good value for money - Location was nice and quiet. Accommodation clean TV was too high on wall to watch.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Mike (9/5): Very much more than adequate. - Met by a friendly dog on arrival. Cooking and cleaning facilities, bathroom (although the hot/cold operation of the shower needs a bit of working out.
In truth I find it hard to make anything other than positive comments.....well I couldn't actually see the sea from my room...nor the hanging gardens of Babylon! Privacy. I would have liked net curtains or something.
With the curtains open, either kitchen/diner or bedroom anybody can look straight in. Security issue maybe.
- Steve & Jane (8/5): Neat and functional country accommodation. - A very neat set-up in a beautiful countrylocation. Great to have reception. As we stayed during an exceptionally cold spell, a bit more comfort would have been welcome, but the heating was excellent. The bed was rather small.
- Amber (10/5): Host was incredibly helpful. The flat was spotlessly clean. Certainly exceeded my expectations! -

- RICHARD (10/5): - No breakfast Dining table a bit small
- steve (9/5): Excellent countryside location, very clean property and friendly host. -
- Kari (10/5): A tranquil getaway, perfect for relaxation - Lovely quiet location, lots of wildlife. Peaceful and tranquil. Friendly dog comes to greet you. Lovely clean accommodation with excellent facilities. Internet rather slow
- David (9/5): Great location to Malmesbury in, quite farm setting. 5 min drive to nearest pub/ meals. Good value. -
- Matthew (7/5): Good location, no thrills, no issues. Would stay again based on this visit. - You get what you pay for. It wasn’t luxury, but good value for the location. It had everything I needed for a 1 night stay with an early start for a triathlon. There was a member of staff on a reception desk - if I had any issues then I knew I could speak to her. Small TV high up on the wall, would get a sore neck if you were watching that for an extended period of time.
- Bond (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing - Amazing place lovely and peaceful Nothing
- Brenda (8/5): Very good - Great set up. Extra bonus of washing facilities. Lovely and quiet. Close to key Cotswolds' villages
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Sorrel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (4/5): Will not be returning or recommending. - Outside area was very smart and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped. Some nice touches. Host was off- hand and reception was revolting with overflowing bags of filthy indeterminate materials.
Unit was dirty, from the worktops with food stuck to them, to all the cooking appliances splattered, the toaster full of crumbs, very dirty plates left in the cupboard and a selection of screwed up rags that were meant to be tea towels.
Dirty toilet bowl, filthy ledge at edge of shower and disgusting shower drain. The shower taps were incorrectly installed so that one of them worked in the wrong direction. Serious scald hazard, together with a blocked shower drain which they attempted to fix but the shower overflowed on next usage.
Whilst the bed linen was lovely and clean, the mattress was so dilapidated that you could only roll to the middle.
The reviews that I initially read were clearly not for this unit and there is something very strange going on with this property. After booking I tried to find the property again but couldn’t find it. It then popped up under another name!!!!???
- Mike (9/5): More than acceptable. Good night’s sleep. - Good parking.
Well kept and clean accommodation. Great facilities but wired shower controls. No soaps, shower gel etc.
Needs another big towel and shower mat.
Not really negatives.
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb -
- Orgest (10/5): Exceptional -
