• Sarah (8/5): Very good - The site is great. Quiet, peaceful and clean. The Lodge is perfect for short stays but quite small. There was nowhere to dry my hair with a convenient mirror.
• F (9/5): Peaceful and cosy! - The pod was very cosy and great for a nice little break away. Although we didn’t explore the site much there is plenty around if you don’t mind a little drive. We did Chester Zoo, it was only about a 20 min drive away. We loved it. Cathy, one of the ladies at reception, was incredibly lovely! She was super helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfy and the heating worked brilliantly. The TV also had different streaming sites you could log into. You also get your own parking space when staying in the pods. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to! It is pet friendly which we didn’t realise when we booked (our fault, they do state this) which is great if you’re bringing a furry friend! There was dog hair on the floor and on the bed a little, but it wasn’t a huge issue. I think I saw another review comment on the showers water pressure. It isn’t super powerful but it’s not something that bothered us. We thought it was fine and did the job!

• Trevor (3/5): Not worth the price tag, should be half the price - Nice location, looks great from the outside and a unique experience Spiders.. they were everywhere, it just goes to show that no one went in the room before to make sure it was clean. Hot.. 🥵 I’ve never been so hot in my life while sleeping and I’ve lived in Australia. On a warm night you defo need aircon as it’s like sleeping in a green house. Room is very small, to pull out the pull out bed you need to move stuff… it’s just not worth the price tag

• Sam (9/5): Overall the perfect getaway in gorgoeus accommodation! - Beautiful cabin and location, the perfect getaway for my partner and I - could never tire from the beautiful view across the water whilst we saw in the New Year. Lovely and cosy, and such a peaceful area. The shower wasn’t amazing, it drained very slowly so felt like I needed to pause mid shower for it to drain to avoid flooding the bathroom (and I really don’t have long showers at all, just a few minutes). The water pressure wasn’t great either, very slow.
