• Joanne (9/5): Beautiful stay in winter sunshine, easy to access the island whilst maintaining the luxury of tranquility, a stunning vi - Lovely warm pool. So many bathrooms! The twin room granny annexe being separate from the main house was perfect travelling with older teens/young adults. No trouble parking a minutes walk away and all info very well described in advance. Plenty of kitchen equipment and even a knife sharpener. No problems cooking for a family at all. Local shop a few mins away (cash only), easy access to the rest of the island by car and appeared to have regular buses. Ongoing ?damp smell in the kitchen cupboard. Just ran a dishwasher cycle of likely needed items to freshen up.
• Gorini (7/5): Bon séjour. - Lieu calme. Peut être, aurait il fallu être un peu plus central sur l’île pour mieux naviguer, mais ça aller tout de même. Loin du tumulte de funchal. Ce que nous cherchions. Piscine, barbecue, vue mer, petit supermarché à 10mn. Discussion avec l’hôte très facile. Réactif. Je ne l’ai jamais vu mais les échanges ont été fluides. L’annonce précise 3 chambres. C’est vrai. Mais une d’elle est dans une dépendance à côté. Avec des ados ou autres adultes ça n’est pas gênant, si une famille avec 4 enfants en bas âge ça peut être problématique.

• Alfredo (8/5): Vacaciones en villa con piscina - La atención de los dueños , estuvieron muy pendientes cuando necesitamos algo . La casa en general está en muy buen estado, cuidada y lugar tranquilo . Piscina y jardín muy agradables, papayas incluidas, y la BBQ también muy útil La agencia encargada del mantenimiento de la casa . No conseguimos que resolviera temas básicos Aunque la segunda casa está pegada es algo incómodo tener una tercera habitación fuera. Toallas un poco gastadas
• Bolo (8/5): Unsuitable for people without the car. - Good room service. Nice garden, clean house, plenty of towels plus all equipment as in your own house. Ants in the house and a crouch, plenty of lizards around hence the house must be shut all the time.

• Yvette (9/5): Topbestemming voor een fantastische vakantie. - Hele mooie villa, compleet. 4 badkamers!! Heerlijk zwembad. En fantastisch uitzicht over de oceaan.
• Chetty (10/5): Een stukje paradijs! - Alles! Het is echt een prachtig huis met bonus appartement wat net zo mooi is. Je kan heerlijk buiten zitten en genieten van de rust en het prachtige uitzicht. Dat uizicht heb je ook als je aan het douchen (regendouche) bent en als je smorgen wakker wordt en vanuit je bed naar buiten kijkt, echt heerlijk. John en Pam zijn geweldige gastheren die je volledig thuis laten voelen. Een perfect werkende bbq ontbreekt uiteraard niet. De tuin met de bananenplanten en mooie bloemen. Het zwembad is heerlijk!! Voldoende tuin meubels, afwasmachine, wasmachine, droger. Alles is aanwezig. Heel veel badlakens, je komt niet tekort! En oh ja, 3 volledige badkamers in het grote huis. Echt een luxe. Een smart tv. En ik vergeet de locatie: die is echt perfect! Een hele goede uitvalsbasis en lekker dicht bij het gezellige Calheta. En ook de lokaal beheerder was heel behulpzaam. Dank John en Pam! Niets!

• Dawid (7/5): - The Villa is quite nice, the pool is heated, kitchen is well equipped, there are two washing machines and dryer which is completly enought for 6 people. The main house is big enought for 4/6 people (2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms) and a living room connected with kitchen (where someone can also sleep). The small house is quite ok, just enought for 2 people. The only negative thing is strange smell from kitchen shelf, (something like mold, especially in the smaller house), but we cleaned our kitchen stuff and everything was fine. Besides that everything was fine.

• Ulrike (10/5): - Wir haben nur das Haupthaus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer genutzt. Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig, ist neu und sehr sehr sauber. Es ist wirklich vollständig und perfekt ausgestattet. Ausreichend Gläser, Besteck, Teller, Handtücher, etc. Auch Waschmittel, Spülmaschinentabs, Toilettenpapier, Seife, Müllbeutel usw. alles in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Zur Schönheit brauche ich nichts zu sagen, die Bilder sprechen für sich. Ich habe vorab auf Google Maps das Haus gesucht und markiert, so dass die Anfahrt vom Flughafen mit dem Mietwagen problemlos mit Navi funktionierte. Was man wissen sollte: Man parkt an der steilen Straße bei der kleinen Kirche und geht zwei Minuten über einen schmalen, betonierten Weg mit ein paar Stufen zum Haus. Generell sind die Straßen auf Madeira sehr, sehr steil, so dass ich wirklich einen Mietwagen mit Automatik empfehle. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, um Madeira zu erkunden. Der Kontakt vorab mit der Vermieterin lief auch wunderbar, wir kommen gerne wieder! ---

• Carlos (9/5): Voltarei com toda a certeza - Excelente espaço para descansar e perto do que é essencial. A limpeza e o espaço exterior excepcionais. Muito calmo. Da forma como chegamos ao alojamento. Muito complicado e bastava ter as coordenadas de GPS. Pela morada fomos dar a um sítio perto e só nos safámos porque o Google Maps nos ajudou através da visualização da piscina.
