- Ginnie (1/5): Gross - Not much Shared toilets which were disgusting
- Karen (8/5): - The location was excellent, bar prices were much too expensive, Bar prices
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Martin (3/5): -
- Manpreet (4/5): - location I had booked three Rooms with 1 Double bed and 1 single bed but they gave me 1 Double bed we were 7 people it was very bad experience
- David (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - The location was perfect, just a minute walk to the sea front.
The bedroom was functional with a clean single bed, a sink, a table and a chair plus kettle and coffee/tea/milk plus shampoo and soap.
The staff were lovely, very attentive, professional and helpful.
The breakfast was fantastic snd despite being in the hotel 50m down the road that wasn’t an issue for me. It was inconvenient only having one bathroom that contained bath/shower, sink and toilet - shared between all the guests in all nine rooms of the building. What made it worse was that the first evening I used the shower the hot water stopped after about a minute and the second evening there was no hot water in the shower at all. However, the staff in the hotel (50m down the road) were very helpful and arranged for me to use a shower in a different building.
- Crispin (1/5): We didn't it was not livable - Absolutely nothing Dirty, mouldy, dangerous, smelt of drugs,
For affordable accommodation was disgusting.
Dirty, dangerous stairs, dirty bathroom, rude staff.
Refused to stay there

- Kwabina (1/5): - Staff was very rude kept rolling her eye any time you ask her questions she sound very angry tone like she doesn't like her job. Everything bathroom was in corridor separated from the room carpet was very dirty room smell very bad.
- Watton (10/5): 100% satisfaction...close to the beach, i will be calling again soon.. - Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to perfection..staff service was 100%..i also appreciated how they were so helpful with my young dalmation dog..
A massive thankyou... There wasnt anything i didnt like...

- alex (5/5): I didn't stay due to my room booking being cancelled. - My reservation was cancelled with too short notice to find another suitable location.
- Jakub (10/5): -
- Ifan (1/5): -
- Mutatwa (2/5): Horrible - Didi not have breakfast The receptionist lady who was on duty my first night was very rude. No consideration for me as a guest. Probably because I am black. She did not allow me to express my needs. You are sending me to review Morawel a place I booked but was changed for unknown reason. TELL YOU STAFF TO NOT DISRESPECT GUEST.

- Angela (2/5): Noisy, dirty and uncomfortable. Would not recommend! - The only good thing was the location There were other residents who look like they live there who had literally taken over the whole of the downstairs living areas and were noisy.
No staff at the property - had to collect the key from another hotel.
The beds were very uncomfortable - I could feel the springs. There was dust all over the shelf above the bed.
The shared bathroom had no toilet roll, dirty wet towels on the floor and the skirting board and toilet pan etc was filthy. It looked like a bedsit rather than a guesthouse. It should have been much cheaper for what we got. The shared bathroom was on a different level to our room and was one bathroom between at least 4 different rooms.
We couldn’t use the bathroom as it was filthy - apart from the toilet as it was essential!
The other people in the property were very noisy and walking about and talking loud at 4am,5am and 6am so we had little sleep.
- Meleri (10/5): - Central location.
Nice size room with ensuite.
Nice breakfast. Car park already full by the time we got here.
- Angharad (4/5): - Didn’t seem safe, front door open and no reception. Went to hotel and asked to pay for an upgrade to hotel. Which I was happy to Pay for, owner seemed bothered by this.
I wouldn’t book this location but would suggest booking hotel
- Jack (1/5): - Nothing really just was close to town Room sounded like we was sleeping in a boiler both of us didnt sleep at all as it felt like we was sleeping on concrete beds and with the noise of the pipes it was impossible
- Tom (3/5): - Rude over the phone, indirectly swearing and shouting when asked to repeat what he said.
- Sharon (7/5): Pleasent 2 nights - The breakfast was lovely and a great choice, we were made very welcome and the staff were lovely The heating didn't work, we asked if someone could look at it and was told it didn't work so we were really cold at night time

- Timms (10/5): -
- April (1/5): Terrible place to stay no privacy he shared a bathroom with other people that you don’t know. I think it was disgusting. - Nothing as it was a room with no view and it was not good sleeping like a immigrant
- Brookes (5/5): - Off-road parking and somewhere to chain my motorcycle. Very small, over-heated bedroom. Thankfully a stuck-open window to alleviate the heat of the heatwave and the permanently-on radiator.
- Hussey (10/5): Great place - Staff made us welcome and breakfast was brilliant Only 1 toilet in the whole block
- Nimmo (7/5): - Excellent breakfast Bed was uncomfortablr
- connor (5/5): -
- Donna (1/5): Do not book - NOTHING The fact the owner cancelled my reservation 2 hours before I was due to book in. No explanation
- George (7/5): -
- Abby (1/5): Won't stay here again - Nothing realy Dangerous high stairs and nearly fell down them room was very small only 2 bathrooms the kitchen wasn't nice people left mess everywhere and coming in and out all hours someone came in 2am in the morning had not much sleep won't ever stay here again sadly
- edou (1/5): -
- Colombo - Casa (4/5): - La colazione La foto della casa non corrisponde a quella che ci è stata data. Abbiamo scoperto, dopo l'acquisto, che appartiene ad una catena di hotel. Ambiente trascurato e squallido. Materassi a molle molto vecchi. Lavandino in camera, ma bagno condiviso con tante stanze, neppure sullo stesso piano. Nessuna istruzione su wifi.
- Jacqueline (1/5): Unhappy - Good location close to the seafront and the shops and restaurants Room wasn't ready for us No bed linen.no ensuite as booked. Cobwebs and mould. No wardrobe No mirror
- Anthony (1/5): Don,t book up to stay at the morawel hotel Aberystwyth - When I got there I found the b&b but couldn't get in then someone came to show someone there room when I asked I was told I had to go and check in at the four seasons hotel up the road I am disabled so struggled to get there as my crutches were strapped onto my scooter when I checked in I was told that I wasn't in , When I got there I found the b&b but couldn't get in then someone came to show someone there room when I asked I was told I had to go and check in at the four seasons hotel up the road I am disabled so struggled to get there as my crutches were strapped onto my scooter when I checked in I was told that I wasn't in the hotel I booked they had put me in a different one round the back and I was on the top floor there were tea making facilities ie kettle tea bags and milk and sugar but no sink or spoon I had to struggle down two flights of stairs just to fill the kettle up from the shower room which was dirty as was the toilets and to be brutally honest the rest of the building was filthy also.my room didn't have any way of hanging any clothes up not even my coat there were plug sockets hanging off the wall and the windows, net curtains and curtains were filthy as was the carpet the bed was just about passable and it took me a long time and effort to get my bag, crash helmet and riding gear up to the room I decided to stay I knew it was a shared toilet and bathroom but I had to struggle down two flights of stairs to use the toilet have a wash clean my teeth and have a shower which I was not told about and I was not told I had to check in at a different hotel when I went to complain the staff were friendly enough and said they would pass the complaint onto the owners.i also asked them about the breakfast I had paid for as there was no eating area in the dump they had put me in I was told I had to come to that hotel for the breakfast.
- Shaun (1/5): Bad - Did not get the chance as they foibles booked us and apparently lost our booking, not even an apology after we travelled nearly 170 miles. I'm absolutely disgusted with their attitude, especially as said we travelled a long, lucky we managed to get somewhere else, but we could have been stranded. They also double booked the people trying to check in before us! I'm dubious about trusting booking.com again. I do not recommend anyone booking Morawel, Aberystwyth as you might end up sleeping on the Beach.
- Charlie (1/5): Bad -
- Giedrius (9/5): 9 - Beatifull breakfast, friendly staff:) city center, it is impossible to avoid night noise at night
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Upgraded to a triple room
- Darren (1/5): Garbage hotel now under potential trading standards authority investigation - Nothing I was treated exceptionally rudely by the manager when I told them that I wasn't happy with the room they offered me in the 4 seasons and not in Morawel which I had booked. I asked for a refund which was refused. I didn't want to stay there after being blatantly lied to by not giving me what I paid for
- Johnny (3/5): pretty awful. - breakfast was very good, location excellent. top of the house, narrow stairs, tiny pokey little room. No kettle. One bathroom between about 6 guests.
- Cooksey (8/5): Very good - It was very cozy Finding the location as it was faulse advertised online
- Lostalpha25 (8/5): Hotel and Staff good - Upgraded to a family room, breakfast was good. staff friendly. Attic room, had to keep bending down, but still hit my head a few times.
- Anneka (3/5): Anneka and frankie - They accepted my dog which was lovely as not many places too plus being a solo traveller it can be hard work but accepting my dog helped staff very friendly Room too hot in the evening also my room was by the bathroom so heard people walking bk and for was very annoying having epilepsy lack of sleep can cause a fit also when booking they showed a different picture of the property so when looking was looking for a totally different place
- Sara (8/5): Very good - Booked here but stayed I main hotel four seasons very enjoyable and pleasant
- Jasmeet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Felix (4/5): NA - Room was cold and heated
- Williams (8/5): Very good - Very friendly Just to far up has I'm 74
- Felix (1/5): Total dissatisfaction - Nothing this time The deplorable and extreme negative customer service.
- Bill (9/5): Average - We stayed in the main four seasons hotel, it was clean and friendly, good buffet breakfast that was very generous, good coffee, toast with real butter, the staff were friendly and helpful The mattress on the double bed was appealing, cheap and nasty budget type with no support, so I ended up sleeping on the single bed, although the curtains were blackout curtains there was so much light coming from the courtyard that it was like daylight when the lights were turned out, so needless to say I didn't sleep well.
- David (5/5): Clean and comfy for a budget hotel. - Bed was comfy and it was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. No communication as to where to go to get keys or breakfast. Had to walk to a local hotel to pick them up after being told by another visitor. Also had to go to the other hotel for breakfast. Only one bathroom for 9 bedrooms 2 toilets in total. One was out of order .
- Felix (8/5): NA - NA NA
- Elizabeth (4/5): Not good - No WiFi
No toilet roll
Bathroom dirty all the time
- Collins (4/5): Disappointing -
- Blue (8/5): Very good - Great staff Room was a bit worn.
- Shakeel (1/5): Bad -
- Charlie (4/5): Disappointing -
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Steve (5/5): Good value for money - Location Other guests making noise till 5.30 on Sunday morning
- Stephen (7/5): You get what you pay for: it is basic but it is low priced. - There are a number of guest houses in Aberystwyth that have limited facilities but reflect this in the price. Usually these guest houses are sold on a room only basis, whereas with Morawel there are two kitchen areas on the ground floor for you to prepare your own food, and a complimentary breakfast is provided at the Four Seasons hotel, a short walk at the other end of the same road. I think this type of guest house is good if you are visiting for work or are on holiday and will be out for most of the day and just need somewhere dry to sleep at night. It is in the middle of the town near the restaurants, shops, and railway station. To get to the very top floor one has to climb a very steep staircase. The room on the top floor had no television and the bed was very low, just inches from the floor, but it did have an ensuite. On another visit, I stayed in a room on the middle floor which had a television and a "normal" bed but did not have an ensuite. I cannot comment on wifi because it was not working on my visit.
- Becky (7/5): loved the stay but wud ave prefered a seperate bathroom - it was nice and clean and close to everything no seperate bathroom!
- Sirwan (1/5): Bad - Location is good Rom it’s not clean
Shower at all, not good
- Faulkner (5/5): Passable - The room was lovely and warm Think it's quite pricey but we only need the room for 3 hours so not their fault
- Eleri (9/5): Top value, but can be noisy when late night/early morning revellers return! Fantastically fresh breakfast. - We were upgraded to the mother hotel, The Four Seasons, so my review is based on that.
- Kumar (4/5): it ok . - i really like the room . I also like the breakfast meal. To be honest i don’t like kitchen and toilets. It really needs proper cleaning and maintenance. so, you should give proper care about it.
- O (1/5): Bad -
- 05 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Turner (1/5): Never go again - Nothing The manager was shouting and very rude too his staff. We had too wait 3 hours for are rooms too be ready. Then too discover that we were in attic rooms with mattress on the floor a single curtain on window held with wire. Sheets were damp and dirty. And stairs to attic room were very dangerous
Very bad exsperence
- Ollerenshaw (1/5): Bad - Double booked me and let me down last minute
- Wyn (4/5): Average - I was left in peace, which is what I wanted Being allocated the wrong room and informed of this an hour later after drifting off into a jet-lag sleep
- Turner (1/5): Never again - Nothing. 4 flights of stairs. Ending in tiny attic room. With mattress which was on floor Everything. Manager was rude and screaming at staff. We had too wait 3 hours for are room too be ready
- Michael (1/5): Never again - 3 hours late to check in. Building was discusting. Underwear hanging on radiator. Urine on floor in toilets. It was chaos. Severable people disrupted. Amusing mind as Basil and Sybil came to mind. Breakfast was the redeeming feature. Everything
- Elaine (1/5): Unpleasant - We didn’t like anything about the property as the breakfast was good but was not in the property. Everything, We arrived at Morawel it was a house of multiple occupants, maybe students. and advised to go down the road to The four seasons hotel. When I first arrived the manager requested I add my address to the invoice and required payment with little communication. I said we had not been aware that check-in was down the road? I had it pointed out it was in the details as she ran her finger down unable to find it .It was reiterated the room was a shared bathroom. We had driven from Tenby to Aberystwyth and very tired so I collected the key with instructions of times of breakfast. We were only staying one night. The stairs narrow with shoes and clothes hanging at the bottom, a hover at the top of the stairs. Not as advertised no towels, I had to go back down to The Four seasons and a young girl was now in reception, she apologised and said she lived in the house, that was one of three and gave us the wrong internet code. The house was dirty, as advertised no wardrobe or closet , no toilet paper. There was only one bathroom/shower to a three floor house so it was never free and left in a dirt state , with wet towels on the floor from when we arrived. I told the manager about this as we couldn’t check out fast enough.
- David (7/5): Very nice location, close to seafront, accomodation close to train station, lots to see and do. - Great location, for seafront, lots of good pubs, i enjoyed the stay.
- Eleri (7/5): Fine for a night in Aber, convenient location near to beach. - We left too early to have breakfast, so can't comment on that.
Room was clean.
The staff are helpful. The mattress was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs sticking out.
- Remigiusz (8/5): 8/10, Highly recommend. - Almost everything, nice place to stay, very clean and tidy. On sea side, very good location Nice bathroom very cosy. We did not have any hangers or wardrobes for jackets. Not any glasses in room and not keetle.
- Luke (7/5): Good -
- Bronwen (7/5): Good -
- Mark (6/5): excellent place to stay good breafast a help your self freindly staff - the breafast was excellent ive stayed with four seasons before every time i go there frendly staff they go out there way to help you help your self breafast but not included is black pudding every thing you want is there excluding black pudding no restrictions on time comeing or going smoke area for us smokers very relaxing well worth the money have reamended it to friends in the past and they have agreed well worth the money best pub the students bar the angle by the clock there is nothing to dislike about this propety jst the creaking floor boards some parts of the hotel
- Ian (1/5): See above - Nothing I would like a refund for the booking please. The accommodation was advertised as a B&B but it was a student accommodation. There was no one available when my colleague arrived at the premises and no way of contacting anyone. Free parking was advertised but this was not the case until after 1800. This is not any use when we arrive between 1600 - 1700. The reception area was untidy and looked unclean. After 1 hour my colleague still had no one to meet to be shown to her room. We had to find alternative accommodation. A refund from the venue will be required please.
Many thanks
Ian
- Amanda (4/5): Disappointing - The food was exceptional and the food areas were spotless, breakfast buffet and plenty of choice 😋 Room 6 on the first floor was in dire need of updating and redecorating it was a shame as the lower floor was clean and presentable .
- Gareth (9/5): Superb - Ideal town centre location, clean and comfortable room
- Cristian (1/5): Awful - We had a stranger sharing our room Awful we had a stranger sharing our room
- O (1/5): Bad -
- Sean (5/5): Don’t stay here - Location is the only saving grace for the property Very dirty, damp, noisy, insecure, old, mouldy and generally crap
- Nicola (1/5): Avoid they cancelled last minute with no explanation it cost a £70 more to find a better hotel - Thankfully you didn't make it through the door they cancelled two days before we were meant to arrive sadly they phoned they were rude they didn't explain why they just cancelled our booking told me to cancel my booking on the app I said no I want a confirmation email with proof of them cancelling our booking and they hung up on me After reading all the reviews we were glad we didn't get through the door very rude very badly run definitely not recommend
- Kaur (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Location...friendly staff....breakfast was realy nice...and plenty of it...👍 Communal kitchen was often left messy by other residents..
- Boyd (5/5): Passable - Good location and friendly staff Curtains were not completely attached and the lock on the bathroom wasn't fully working
- Tommy (3/5): Poor - This is a student house not a hotel terrible advertising
- Jaroslav (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Clean big 5bed 2 rooms we was relocated to Four seasons hotel All good
- Michael (1/5): discusting. - The breakfast was nice, the location was good. I paid for a en suite room in a b and b but was given a student room in a shared house with the bathroom 2 floors down .
it was basically a slum, the owner had totally misrepresented the acomadation the pictures on your website were totally misleading it was discusting. There was a single duvet in a double cover everything in the room felt sticky.
