• The Elian (10/5): Here you should stay in Brindisi - Wow, think about staying in an old abbey, still seeing the fresco on the ceiling, but in the total comfort of a new apartment in the heart or Brindisi. This is a great location with a comfortable bed, large bathroom with quality amenities. More than half of the great experience is made by the host, Carmelo, who met us on the way, showed us parking spots, attractions, recommended a great restaurant and made sure that everything was perfect. It gets quite chilly on cold nights, as the AC is the only source of heating.

• Frank (10/5): Phantastische Unterkunft mit herausragendem Gastgeber. - Ich bin sowohl geschäftlich als auch privat viel unterwegs, aber so eine phantastische Erfahrung habe ich wirklich selten gemacht. Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man für eine Städtereise braucht. Sie ist absolut zentral gelegen. Alles ist fussläufig zu erreichen. 3 Minuten zum Hafen. Jede Menge tolle Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Zudem ist sie absolut sauber, verfügt über ein schönes Bad und wenn man möchte kann man sogar einen Jacuzzi benutzen, der sich im Zimmer befindet. Aber jetzt kommt das Beste. Der Gastgeber Carmelo (herzliche Grüße an der Stelle) ist ein Phänomen. Ich habe auf meinen Reisen noch NIE einen solch aufmerksamen Service genossen, wie Carmelo ihn bietet. Er kümmert sich wirklich um ALLES und ist IMMER erreichbar. Absolut zuverlässig, pünktlich und super freundlich. Man hat hier einen persönlichen Concierge an seiner Seite, der jedem 5 Sterne Haus gut zu Gesicht stehen würde. Ob Restauranttipps, Zugbuchungen, Mietwagen, Flughafentransfer, Carmelo kümmert ich um alles. Carmelo, Du bist der Beste! Die Unterkunft und ganz speziell Carmelo ist ein absoluter Buchungstipp! I travel a lot for both business and pleasure, but I've rarely had such a fantastic experience. The accommodation has everything you need for a city break. It's in a prime central location. Everything is within walking distance. It's a 3-minute walk to the harbor. There are a lot of great restaurants and cafes nearby. All the sights are also easily accessible on foot. The accommodation itself is beautiful and designed with great attention to detail. It's also spotlessly clean, has a lovely bathroom, and if you like, you can even use the in-room jacuzzi. But now for the best part. The host, Carmelo (a big hello to him!), is phenomenal. I have NEVER experienced such attentive service on any of my travels as Carmelo provides. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Appartamento ampio e bellissimo, curato nei minimi particolari con molto gusto e raffinatezza. Ma il pregio più apprezzato è stata l'infinita disponibilità di Carmelo che ha esaudito ogni nostra richiesta: aggiunto un letto last minute, trasferimenti vari, supporto per il noleggio auto, prenotazione ristorante... con genuino entusiasmo e grande professionalità. • Anne (10/5): Great host, very good location and accessible by car. - Our host, Carmelo was wonderful. He was there to meet us on arrival and assisted with luggage, provided a thorough induction into the property and provided plenty of advice about his town of Brindisi. The building has a washing machine and clothes dryer and Carmelo even went out to purchase washing powder for us - he couldn’t have been more helpful. He recommended his favourite restaurant a short 4 minute walk, and we went there twice it was so good (La Locanda Del Porto). Carmelo was also kind enough to drive us to our ferry in departure, for a small fee. He is very proud of the renovation he has done to his three appartments, and justifiably so. It was a very comfortable stay, and a great shower !! Nothing to be critical of at all….a very enjoyable stay.

It’s a beautifully renovated historic palace, thoughtfully refurbished by the owner, Carmelo. The apartment is tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and even features an in-room jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring under the sun. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was Carmelo himself. He was the most incredible host we’ve ever had! From the moment we landed in Puglia, he stayed in touch, shared fantastic tips for our trip, and even went so far as to drive us onto Otranto 😊 I’d heard about the legendary hospitality of southern Italians, but Carmelo truly exceeded all expectations. This is an amazing place, and we can’t wait to return!

• Xavier (10/5): Was treated like a king in this Palace in the middle of Brindisi - The property is in the centre of the city, very close to train station and buses from the airport. It’s an old palace recently refurbished and renovated by Carmelo, the owner. Very well decorated and fully equipped. It has a jacuzzi in the room that will be your salvation after a long day walking around under the sun. But the best of the apartment was, without a doubt, Carmelo. Best host we ever had! He was checking on us as soon as we landed in Puglia and gave us a lot of tips for the trip. He even booked a couple of restaurants for us! I heard before about the hospitality of south Italians, but he was over the top! Amazing place, we will definitely come back! Absolutely nothing to complain about it!

The hotel is small, but very uniquely designed and clean. Carmelo, the owner, is very helpful and accomodating and does everything he can to make the stay as pleasant as possible. He reached out via Whatsapp a day before the stay to ensure the arrival and check-in would work for me a I needed. Really a great guy!
• Frank (10/5): A magical place in the historic center - The accommodation was in a beautifully renovated historic building in the center of the old city close to the port.It consisted of two large rooms - a sleeping area with a jacuzzi and bathroom and a second area with a fully equipped kitchen,dining area and living room.The host,Carmelo was very attentive and provided useful information about the area.

All the facilities were as described. The host is excellent. The bathroom with the clear glass window at the shower is not ideal for a family with teenage girl

• Dominic (10/5): A true treasure of a find. Beautiful, clean and very comfortable. - the property was very clean, spacious and has great style. The sophisticated modern decor is well balanced with the historic features of the room. The shower is amazing and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will book again without hesitation. Carmelo, the owner, was above all outstanding. His welcome was second to none and he couldn’t be more helpful. Due to delays with flights, there were no taxis. however, Carmelo stayed in constant contact and came and picked us up from the airport. In fact, he was on route to the airport as he knew there would be a problem despite us thinking we’d find a way ourselves. He was right and we were grateful. He had even provided some snacks as he rightfully assumed we would be hungry. The man is a star!! Nothing. We would happily stay again!

• Keith (10/5): Bliss. Stylish. Quaint. Quirky. Heaven. - The stay was marvellous. The owner made check in and out easy and entertaining. The room is wonderfully quaint with a vaulted ceiling that has the outline of the saints recovered under layers of paint. The decoration is playful and well done. The location a stones throw from the Duomo. The washer and dryer make it a breeze to refresh your wardrobe. Would be super if all three apartments had access to the roof terrace. But that was clear in the description.
• Phillip (10/5): Exceptional property enhanced by the perfect hosting. - Carmelo is just the best host. Goes way above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. The accommodation itself is meticulously planned and a very high standard. We were lucky enough to visit during a festival, Carmelo not only picked us up from the port (we arrived by ferry from Corfu) but offered to take us to watch the fireworks before checking in. The location itself is very central, within a minute of some good bars and restaurants. Honestly, nothing. It was perfect.

• Jane (10/5): Highly recommend, fabulous place to stay and excellent location too. - The apartment has been amazingly finished with so many little extras to make it feel like a home rather than a hotel or apartment. Stylish and elegant, pretty much everything you need for a short stay, huge TVs and super comfy beds. The air con was very effective too. A lovely touch was the fruit and snacks on arrival, plus access to a nespresso machine for the morning was greatly appreciated. Carmelo is a super attentive, kind and friendly host. He gave us some great advice and arranged our taxi on departure. The photos DO NOT do this place justice - gorgeous. Nothing - just highly recommend! Carmelo had warned us that there might be some noise from outside in the evening, as it was Saturday night but it wasn't disruptive and clearly just people passing by and enjoying themselves, nothing after 11.30pm I'd say.

• Aida (10/5): Beautiful unit in the heart of Brindisi - Beautiful property from the 1600s right in the middle of everything, steps from Roman columns of Apian way and Lungomare of Brindisi. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Carmelo was amazing, he helped us find a free parking spot and helped us make a reservation in one of the busiest restaurants in town. We’ll for sure come back to this property.
• James (9/5): This was a great place to stay. Central, spacious & stylish - Carmelo, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He was exceedingly responsive and knowlegdeable about how to get around and what to do. The room was clean and comfortable too. Check in, check out very smooth as well. I would recommend this place for those going to Brindisi.
• Gissel (10/5): Just amazing!!! - Let me start with host Carmelo, he was the most amazing, polite, and kind, he contacted us in advance, wait for us in the property, shows us everything, helped with the transfer to the airport next day, so just amazing. The room was stunning, way more beautiful than the pictures, the perfect melt with modern and classic decoration, the details are just so just in place, super comfortable, had a smart tv so you can put your account for Netflix or another streaming app and watch something in your language, and that is a plus when you don’t know Italian 🫣, bed are súper confortable, has air conditioner, so good because is summer and was very hot, and the amazing host offer snacks and really good coffee. The location is just perfect, you can walk 10 min and be in the coast, another 5 minutes and check the best restaurants for food, and walk to come back another 5 min is really in the center of the tourist area. So I’ll definitely 100% recommend!!!
• Anita (10/5): What a Gem - Everything about Poesia is exceptional - it is stylish, luxurious, comfortable and in a great location. Carmelo is an amazing host - our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until after 11pm but he was there with a warm welcome, settled us in and arranged a table in a nearby restaurant that was just about to close! Carmelo is a wonderful young man - nothing was too much trouble - he was always on hand to help with our plans - we can't praise him highly enough - a truly delightful person! We 100% recommend 😊 Everything was perfect!

The host, Carmelo, is very attentive, supportive, kind and friendly, he helped us with all our questions, he even helped us with car rental, he took action immediately if we needed anything. The colour of the wall is amazing, it's like being in heaven.

The B&B itself has modern facilities and a very high grade or comfort. The room with the jacuzzi tub is a great way to relax. Carmelo, the owner of the apartment was super friendly, and helped us with all of our questions. We had a contact at the whole week, you can count on him. Take his advices, and do not afraid to ask him. Knows all the good places in the town, and can tell what is worth to watch while you there. 10/10.
• Kevin (10/5): Highly recommend booking Poesia and Carmelo’s exceptional hospitality! - Carmelo is a truly exceptional host. His renovation work to make Poesia so beautiful is amazing. The space was very clean, has everything you could possibly want and is very comfortable. The location is fantastic, very close to all interesting sites in Brindisi and close to the airport. Carmelo went above and beyond by taking us to the airport at 4:45am! And having pizza delivered to us at Poesia.

Carmelito picked us up from the airport, welcomed us into the apartament with fresh healthy refreshment (on the house) and he gave us loads of helpful information about the area and the region. He was always available on What’s up should we need anything and he stayed in touch daily. We had fantastic stay in Puglia and in Poeasia.
• Maria (10/5): Poesia in Rima. - This is one of those places you're just glad to have found. Mostly for the fact of witnessing what a young person, with a dream, passion, initiative and hard work, can do. Cudos to Carmelo and his supportive family for the wonderful fruit of their labor. He has taken an old structure and brought it back to new life and purpose. We very much enjoyed our stay. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Ambiance was inspiring. Very clean place. We recommend it!
• Malika (9/5): I did enjoy my stay at Carmelo’s place. The bed so cosy.. I Highly recommend. - Fantastic. So we’ll located! Carmelo is adorable. He spent sometimes with me upon my arrival to explain many things and also helped me to find out about buses schedule . The house is so lovely and decorated with taste. As there was a strong wind, there was some noise coming from the cheminée. If you have a deep sleep and there is no wind, this is absolutely fine.

He helped us with an itinerary and food recommendations. He also arranged a rental car to the property which was extremely helpful. The apartment is very cool and also comfortable. It has a roof top, cooking facilities and a jacuzzi bath. There is no view from this property but the location is very good so we didn't mind. There's lots of good bars and restaurants near by but there no convenient store nearby.
