- Adam (9/5): -
- Susan (8/5): - location perfect - bus stops outside, corner shop 2 seconds away. sofa bed in kitchen was not comofrtable.
- Tomas Amaro (10/5): -
- valerye (8/5): a good base for the vatican and easy to walk to buses to get around - the location is excellent for the vatican which was our reason for coming to this area and the host very kindly arranged a sofa bed in the living room as my friend and i wanted seperate sleeping accommodation. it was mainly very quiet no dogs barking but some traffic noise not all the time just early mrnng and late at night mainly it was all ok
- LUCIANO (9/5): Had a great time in Rome the place was convenient and great value - great location and value
- Rohin (8/5): Fantastic location - It was a block from the Vatican, close to restaurants and shops. The owner was kind and communicative. The place was clean, we had everything we needed. I didn’t like that the person who gave us the keys and showed us in, took a picture of our passports, it made us uneasy. The window in the bedroom wouldn’t close and it was a back street, with quite a bit of traffic, and raining.
- lobo (10/5): A truly memorable visit to Rome, made special by a perfect location and a wonderful host. - This was my first trip to Rome, made even more special as I was on a pilgrimage with my dad. The property’s location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the Basilica, which made everything so convenient. Our host, Andrew, was exceptional—attentive, communicative, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our stay. He truly made the experience memorable. I would absolutely recommend this place, especially for families or anyone visiting for spiritual or cultural reasons. While our overall experience was wonderful, from the comfort to the convenience of the location. There is nothing much to complain about.
- Lada (7/5): Not bad for old city - Location Old, wet, no a/c
Sehr gerne wieder. Grazie mile! Es gab nichts auszusetzen.
- Roderick (9/5): - The place is 5 minutes from St. Peter's Basilica and close to all amenities. The place was clean, and furnished with all essential things for a 10 day family stay.
- Beata (10/5): Fantastyczny pobyt - Bardzo blisko Watykanu. Bardzo czysto i bardzo mili właściciele. Jak ktoś chce gotować to ma nawet i patelnie i garnki - my tylko śniadanko i zwiedzanie . Obok przystanek autobusowy i parkingi dla samochodów. Polecam Brak
- Chelsea (10/5): 10/10, lovely people and would highly recommend. - Stayed for 5 nights and had the best experience. Andrew and Alba were more than accommodating. Even before arrival I requested if it was possible to decorate the apartment as a surprise for my partner’s birthday which they did a great job of. The place was clean, comfortable and good location. Lots of communication from the moment we booked which was reassuring and couldn’t ask for anything more.
- Susan (5/5): Passable - The hosts were exceptional and location is great. Just a 5min walk to The Vatican. The whole apartment is very average and although it has all the basics, it needs a major revamp. The outside area is messy and hasn't been attended to. With a little TLC it could be a fantastic spot.
- Joel (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (9/5): Nice, comfortable stay - Nice place with everything needed (except space to dry clothes, a line in the bedroom worked ok). Very quiet for a shared space, never would know anyone else lived there except for clothes hanging on balcony. Clean interior but worn, extra blankets, working facilities (clothes washer, kitchen utilities, fans, etc.), very easy to work with host, buses across street, Uber easy to use and faster than the public transportation, Walk to Vatican City. All-in-all a nice, comfortable stay. Probably would not stay again due to location. Would recommend for others who understand public transportation and like to walk. Transportation required for most popular spots in Rome. The courtyard has great potential but very messy making it hard to enjoy. Requires two keys to enter. Could have extra towels (including kitchen) for extended stay.
- Roumayne (10/5): I had an incredible experience staying in Rome! This was by far my best booking experience. - the reception was amazing
- Celine (9/5): Our stay in Rome was wonderful on all accounts. Staying here made it perfect! - The welcome by the owners was very warm. Alba and Andrew were very helpful with any questions we had. The property has a fantastic location. Just behind St Peter’s. Really incredible. It was clean, practical and very Roman ! We both liked it very much nothing bad to report.
- Madelyn (8/5): Lovely location and great space, host was very friendly, washing machine was nice, location was a bit loud - Great location, great size and space, loved the washing machine I didn’t like the window in the room, it was quite loud and felt people could see in
- Janie (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay. Andrea and Alba were very welcoming - it was like home away from home.
- Gail (10/5): Lovely stay ... outstanding location! - We've had a lovely stay! Thank you to host Andrew & Alba (housekeeping) for being so attentive & welcoming! The apartment was perfectly located for our fabulous stay in Rome. 300 yds walk down the road & you enter St. Peter's Square through the colonnades!! One of our friends was coeliac (gluten-free) & we discovered a bakery/pizzeria 'Senza Glutine' directly opposite the apartment for fresh morning croissants & lunch called Le Altra Farina del Mulino.
Andrew arranged our airport pick-up at a very reasonable price & excellent service.
Highly recommend a stay here.
- Sherman (2/5): Very poor - Location was good. The bedroom is dank and musty. There is a little air conditioning unit in the room but it was not functioning. The mildew smell made the room feel unsafe. There were also rules posted everywhere. One of my favorites told guests to make sure and haul trash away. Ok? Should I walk it over to St. Peter’s square and dump it in the bin there. I’m not from Rome. I haven’t the least idea where I should haul my rubbish too. This place has a good location but it is not worth risking health to stay there. I do a lot of budget traveling and complain very little but this place .Broken shower head. Poorly functioning power. Blah blah - renter beware.
- Andrej (6/5): Perfect location and hosts - Location, host availability and kindness A lot of moisture, you could sense it, smell it every day.
- Hyeonil (10/5): Exceptional - It was great location and easy to go anywhere in Rome Nothing. It was really good
- Andrius (9/5): It's a very good apartment in an excellent location. - It's an excellent apartment in an excellent location, which is just a few hundred meters from Vaticano but not as crowded. A good supermarket is not far away either. The kitchen-diner and the bedroom are clean and well-equipped, and so is the bathroom. The patio adds to the cosy and quiet atmosphere of the place. The hosts Andrew and Antonio are friendly and helpful. We didn't find a kettle, and Antonio brought his own one the next day.
- Ann (9/5): Superb - Position excellent, easy access too public transport Dark courtyard to cross before, sensor lights, vane on at noght
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Mate (9/5): Superb - The apartment has a very good location, it is very close to Vatican and to bus stops. It is very comfortable, calm, and the kitchen is well equipped. During the heat-wave the apartment stayed cool and additional fan helped us to cool down. We enjoyed our stay very much in this apartment. During our stay the metro was under renovation, so several places were hard to reach due to complicated public transport. This is not related to the apartment.
- Jadwiga (8/5): Very good - Brilliant location, right next to the Vatican (5 minutes walk to St. Peter's Square), shops, cafes / restaurants in front of the house - everything close and at hand; 15 minutes walk to the subway, bus stops right in front of the house - easy access to every corner of Rome; an apartment in a Roman tenement house, with a charming, typically Italian backyard, where you can feel like a resident of Rome; for me, the location of the apartment compensated for minor inconveniences - the ratio of the price of the apartment to the location is very good; very nice owner and his helper - they offered us help in any matter; despite the fact that we arrived with a considerable delay, there was no problem with collecting the keys. We are grateful to the hosts for the warm welcome and we will probably come back here again.
- Vasileios (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely friendly staff! Facilities a bit outdated, but still comfortable.
- Birgit (9/5): It was all good! - Perfect location and very friendly host.
- Wgmjr (6/5): Touring Rome - The location is very close to many historical sites and wonderful restaurants.
Very comfortable bed.
Both Andrew & his colleague Antonio were extremely helpful. The atrium picture on the booking.com site does not reflect the current state. The bathroom needed to have a deep clean.
The shower stall needs a significant repair.
